Thanks so much for doing this video been looking everywhere and your the only person to break it down.
Thanks for watching!
I look forward to your LED panel video. its the one thing ive been looking for so i could do custom size lithophanes, both regular and color.
Super cool
Thanks for watching!
Cool video. Very interesting
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi, Len. I’ve had the bundle a few weeks now. The LED light was a free gift when the bundle launched(UK). I actually done my first (HULK)Lithophane today! But the settings need tweaking as green still had yellow and some colour had not printed at all. Cheers.
I ordered it when the light was supposed to come with it. I would have just ordered the cyan and magenta otherwise.
@@lendizzle77 Don't believe anyone has yet received the light. Found an email from Bambu in my spam folder saying a coupon code for the free light would be sent mid June.
Got my kit Friday, but with my new job, I'm working all weekend. so Monday I can Jump on it. Sorry to miss the live feed, but I''ll be there next week, with some Lithophanes. oh no back light with my bundle.
Stay tuned... You didn't miss a live feed. I cancelled this week because I was on the road.
Hi Len, 2 questions I only have the size .4 nozzle, can i still use that? Also I only have the PLA White tough from Bambu labs is that ok ?
I ordered the bundle and apparently it's only for the filament if you didn't purchase with the initial launch. I contacted customer support to verify since it wasn't listed as included. They verified that the light is not included and that the light panel for the frame will be on sale separately, supposedly by late June. They did volunteer that the size of the Backlight Board is 144mm x 108mm for folks wanting to try and source their own.
Thanks for the info.
Any chance of you reviewing the pantheon HS3 mk2? Thanks.
As soon as they want to send me a $10k printer, I would be happy to review it!
Anytime I try to print the frame and light plate off the bambu site I can’t change any settings, it deletes the file. Anyone got these files that we can change the settings and use the ams?
Hi Len, got to ask you a question: I haven't the AMS yet. Are the color objects planar? Will I be able to manually change the colors at given layer heights, like a normal HueForge print?
Is it even feasible without the AMS?
you can do that with or without the AMS
Thanks, I've seen there should be just 16 color swaps. But how do I insert the pauses correctly? Since they're not interlayer they're at some point of the middle layers... How can I set the things up and know which color swap for, but manually?@@lendizzle77
Hi Len! This is not related to Lithophanes, but I went to your "about" and "community" pages looking for a link to send you some photos of my chess set project, but couldn't find anything other than a discord link that doesn't work. Do you have a gmail I can use. I'n in the finishing stages of making a chess set for my grandsons and SIL. 36 hours of printing and 3 reels of filament on my X1C plus a fair bit of woodworking using oak sawmilled and dried from my place here in WV

Any update on the homemade boards? Thanks
Soon. I finally have the Bambu one and just need to finish the prototype for the other.
I got my filament but I still haven’t gotten the Ed light
That sux
Do you need the 2mm bozzle. I pri t them at 4mm on my anycubic
It is what is recommended but I'm not sure how much it really matters. Depends on what you are doing I guess.
.4 works fine. Make the print resolution high like 0.08
be aware that the stl's for the light guide and frame from bambu dont fit together.
which colours are needed to buy seperately ? thanks
cyan, magenta, yellow and white
@@lendizzle77 yes but i went to pla bassic but couldn't find them, yellow snd white ok but the others not. Thanks
Look in the bundle tab. You can buy them separately
You can get them separately here. us.store.bambulab.com/products/pla-cmyk-lithophane
just print a color paper with the picture in any lithoplane and that its all
CMYK= Cyan, Magenta,Yellow, Black. Not White thant would be cmyw
Interesting the bundle came with cyan, magenta, yellow and white. I'm not an expert so I'll take your word, but it is interesting the "CMYK" bundle has white. Silly me.
I’ve gone by Bambu’s instructions using white. I did wonder how black would be made. Hmmmm.
These are the colors you can produce… it is BLACK because a thicker white won’t let the light through, so its CMYK
CMYK = Cyan Magenta Yellow Key, which is black in CMYK toner printers but the key can be white as well. Black can be made from mixing CMY together
that's for ink jet printer not 3d printing
