This is one of the more creative missions in the game with an awesome premise and impressive detail, especially with all the funny NPC dialogue and the bizarre behaviors the guests start showing once the drugs kick in. The cutscene when Lincoln confronts Olivia is also fantastic!
Also the Pianist plays Jefferson Airplane White Rabbit when the acid kicks in.

@@Willzyyy Father James mention about "we are cruel and wicked people" which relates to our sins in past, cruelty of the world itself. As person whom became volunteer to church in Indonesia, I'm understand Father James confession about reality of the world and its people some of them is cruel and some of them are kind. Lincoln is one of kind person who saved people lives after he being tricked by Marcano family and as result of his family death and his friend Ellis. Marcano family also one of cruel people who taking advantage of Lincoln family to rob Federal Reserve and tried cleaning the mess they made even they tried killing Vito and others who same path as Lincoln.
The storytelling in mafia 3 was pretty amazing by showing us the Infamous history of the south in America and Lincoln by far is my favorite protagonist in the mafia series despite the repetitive gameplay ❤

I like this "hitman"'s vibe mission. The first time I played it, I stopped and listened to all the characters' dialogue. The goon cutting himself was a cool detail.
Same here. There's so much detail to appreciate in this mission. Just wish the shootout and cop chase lasted a bit longer...👀

They all felt hatred for her and suspected that she might be involved on his death, but they could never prove, this sure was a revenge.

I always do this mission between Uncle Lou and Tommy ones, since the cutscene version where Georgi lets his dad know of the deed of taking care of Olivia. Flows nicely into him bringing Nino Santangelo for his meeting with Sal.
I agree, that's the order I did in my original walkthrough but thought I'd mix things up for these videos. I wasn't intending to finish the whole game again but I really enjoyed it so here we are! 😅
@@Willzyyy Sorrry meant to put I at the start of my comment. Only watched it now after your reply. And it's good to mix things up as the game nicely has different scenes of Sal reacting to Lincoln's actions depending on which capos get taken out in certain orders.
Especially if Tommy is done last.

Playing it again made me realise just how great the soundtrack is...even more than I'd remembered. Not just the radio tracks but the OST is fantastic too!

The soundtrack on this game is just so damned amazing and I especially love the creative use of cover versions in the game.
The contrast in tone from the original, sugar-sweet Duprees version of 'You Belong to Me' that we hear throughout the game to the ominous/creepy Misfits version when Olivia is revealed to be dead is just spot on perfect.

The cutscene with Olivia and Lincoln is dope. Basically a tutorial of how to make women *come* using only your hands.
I believe that this is the only mission where violence was not directly used to kill Olivia Marcano. In fact, I did change the pace of the game a bit with this mission, I liked that!
That is my favourite part when the pianist on high playing White Rabbit on the piano.

They tried. That's who is refusing to sign the papers toward the end. They either weren't persuasive enough or he knew better, but he did refuse and so they tried to intimidate him.
his comments at the end on how there will always be another makes it seem like the rule alone ending was the one the devs visioned

Fun mission.
I had something strange happen. once I set the drink down I ran right to one of her bodyguards & of course I died. but now the game just stays on the "load screen" even after restarting it & I'll feel vibration in the controller as if I'm getting shot or something. anyone know a soultion?

mafia 3 always kinda reminded me of “The Godfather 2 Game” just with lil differences. just don’t know why mafia 3 has a lot of hate & criticisms
I liked both games. My only gripe with Mafia 3 is that you can’t pick up weapons and ammo from cops unlike Godfather 2.
Having a character of color for starters ppl are offended by that bunch a clowns😂. Only thing i didnt like were some missions were repative
Mostly because people are brainwashed and dumb and think MaFiA and organized crime is just about a bunch immigrants from Italy wearing a tuxedo. And thats 100% wrong. The most powerful mafia boss back in the day wasn't Italian. He was Jewish-Russian and the first organized crime in the U.S. was the Irish mob and not the Italians.
Overall mafia 3 did a great job showing how mess up the Crime Families actually are.
I enjoyed how our goal is destroy Sal's Empire and build your Empire in the same place.
