We Saw 2 Puppies For Sale On The Way To Fatima's Village

- It's a beautiful Saturday and we're headed out to family day in the village. We loaded Kaping Mainit's trike down like The Beverly Hillbillies and began gathering food. Fatima forgot to pack the rice so we stopped at the sari-sari store where we usually pick up Red Horse Beer. They've got two puppies for sale that the ladies and babies want to bring home with us.

No puppies. A dog is a serious commitment of at least ten years and, IMO, the family travels often and is too active for a pet at this time.
As much as the content would be cool and good for the kids, I agree as I hear the PI isn't pet friendly. Though If various people from the village are on station when traveling, maybe it could work. I feel for Grandma if you get one though, can't picture Fatima with pooper scooper lol

Puppies don’t get sensible until they are 2yo however the fun and bonding your babies will have with them in that time will be priceless. One is sure better than two for your first adventure in dog ownership and the one like the mum will stay smaller. But in saying all that, are you and Fatima ready for more work to look after an extra mouth and all the expenses associated with its health and happiness. Big commitment Mark but the love they give in return is unmatched.

What are you going to do with one or more dogs when you’re all away from home for a weekend or longer? How easy will it be to move when you have one or more dogs to move with everything and everyone, and you seem to move often. Were the dogs vaccinated? Where will the dogs “go”, you do not have a grass or dirt yard? Just a few of many things to consider before such a life changing commitment, Mark and Fatima. Another great video, thank you! 😊

I brought a bag of dog food to my wife's family's compound in Cebu, and the dogs turned there nose up. Wouldn't touch it. But no worries. The cats, and the rats ate it...Get both puppies, one for Forest G, and one for Maria. Nice video.

That seems kind of high price for those dogs, unless they meant 4,000 piso for both puppies.
1 puppy at a time. They will bond much better with the humans that way. 2 or more at a time, especially siblings, will tend to form their own pack seperate frome the humans. Pay for both, take 1 now, the ither in 2 weeks and all ahould go well. If the kids say they will take care of everything then make sure they do. Teach the kids a family is a responsibility thay has to be kept up. Good luck.
