Jen and her Sis are like two kids opening Christmas presents...smiles! That crystal ball is the real deal...not leaded glass. They're very expensive now compared to what they were not that long ago.
We are on box 10 and have 8 left to send from Jacksonville, Florida. Retiring to Palawan in August. Thanks for your content.

Peter MAX is cool, I love his work. Glad your boxes got there, we used LBC to ship my paintings and 32 boxes from Vegas to Palawan and LBC did an amazing job. its nice to have keepsakes from home.

I've been shipping Balikbayan boxes from Millington TN to The Phils for 2 yrs now. Mainly to my LDR GF. I just recently send 2 more. The company that services my stop charges $85 for a reg. 4.5 CuFt & $99 for a Jumbo 6 CuFt sized box.
Your wife will get more adapt at opening boxes by the time she gets to #9. My daughter and granddaughter can open and empty a box in 5 minutes. While the pandemic was on, I was sending 2 boxes a month home to my family. I am an expert Balikbayan Box packer. That box got crushed because it was not fully packed.
All those great pics you finally have something to fill those empty walls! ;)

I'm in the middle of packing my life into Balikbayan boxes, I am just amazed the amount of things you can fit in a box.
GOOD packer can stocks tons of things inside that box don't leave a space no weight limit.
❤very nice..you loved to keep souvenirs wherever you went. You must write description of each because you remember so well. This is an idea it can be a museum display where people can pay an entrance fee to look at all these memorabilia. The school can even visit for learning purposes. Congratulations and thank you for sharing these very valuable personal possessions.🎉

It's always exciting to open those balikbayan boxes. We have 15 waiting for us in Southern Leyte and by the time we leave for the Philippines in June there will be 12 more heading that way. I enjoy watching the reaction of the two ladies as they unpack.
That's a lot of neat stuff in that box. I really like the Queen Conch shell--I used to collect those as a kid growing up and visiting the Florida Keys from our home in Miami.
Big fan of Balikbayan Box's, well done Mark! Anything you own in the US that's a high quality or high ticket item...if it fits then ship it.

Hi Mark, what is the name of the company you used for the boxes and would you recommend them? Did they come and pick up the boxes or did you need to drop them off? Also did you need to have an exact address? I'm not sure where I will be when the box gets there...

Great stuff Mark, this was my plan for next year when we return to our Cebu home permanently, to send our personals by balikbayan boxes, however, my very wise wife said we need to compare the value of our belongings to the cost of sending them there. As always, she is right of course, so we probably will only send a couple of boxes. LoL. Great to see Steve in the background, dutifully providing assistance discreetly. Jen is looking lovely as usual and we wish you both all the best with your special child. Bob n Lina. NZ.

We are living in Sydney, Australia.
I got emotional when i watched this video.
I can imagine your baby growing up in those memories and learning about you.
I also have a few boxes i have been holding on for a long time.Its full with personal items, and each one of them have memories.
We will be coming to Manilla next week for my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary.
I would love to meet you one day and have a chat in a great country, Philippines 🇵🇭 🇦🇺
