- I gave Filipina Wife #2 the afternoon off and deployed her to the hair salon. Me and Grandma took the kids to the playground while Fatima got a Brazilian treatment. Later on, the ladies tried to hustle me for pizza but I directed our driver to head straight for the public market. I was in the mood for barbecue pork chops.

One of the things I LOVE about your vlog is that it reflects true PI life, unlike the vlogs that might label themselves "Life in the Philippines," but are actually vacation/tourist related. Even when I do vacation I don't care to do the tourist things. I can watch this stuff all day. 👍

Hey Marco, I saw a Security Supervisor position open for the Philippines on the Vectrus website and thought you might be interested. I'm trying to get back there but no Fire Department openings as of yet. Probably using the locals to keep the cost down.
I’m jealous of the playground you have there. The province we are in kinda sucks. There’s a shitty worn out playground at the provincial capitol grounds and a tiny crappy one in the town plaza. You don’t want the kids to play outside because of course there’s dog and chicken shit everywhere. Every once in a while we will drive an hour away to a J&F mall that has a decent indoor playground. There’s no mall here but they are building one. Hopefully things improve when that opens.

When I was stupid and spoiling my Filipina wife in the early days of our marriage. I would pay the 10,000 pesos for that Brazilian hair straightening! What a ripoff! And the treatment is SO bad for your hair! Causes hair loss at an early age too!

Not a great fan of this type of (upper) Brazillian hairdo... lot of noxious chemicals like formaldehyde in some... extra traction on hair, by extra glued weight. DYOR on internet first, you don´t want to cause future thinning or bald patches. Happened to ex LDR...
The best facial cleanser and (washout) hair treatement is only available in quantities of a mere 10cc at at time. Repeat where necessary. Loads of rare trace minerals, in a human form. No nasty chemicals, but beware red-eye...
It also removes dried by recently applied fake tan... which wasn´t that great for an air-hostess trainee I knew... When they´re practicising that life-jacket thing, everyone is paying attention to their pretty face...
So special occasions, and check the chemicals... not a routine ongoing treatment... needs some resting time...

He has an ex wife in the states with kids/grandkids, an ex in Thailand (not Maria’s mother). Now.. Fatima was “wife #1” but he demoted her a few times tho, lol.
