You are correct about not getting 2 siblings from the same litter, they can get litter mate syndrome and it comes in 2 forms the first form is that they get super attached to each other and don’t want to do anything with you, the second which is the worst is that they will attack each other like fight to the death ☹️ it’s really sad, so always get one dog from a litter not 2 from the same litter.

I will neutered them when they are of age for no mishaps. My boy cries all the time and my girl is so chill both sweet but he cries all the time and wants to be held the time
Invest in puppy pads AND get training treats so you can crate-potty train. Also, use the treats to train for tricks. ie paw/shake, lay down, and come... I'm a professional trainer.

You were misinformed. There's absolutely nothing wrong with and everything alright with bringing home two pups from the same litter. You just have to make sure you stay on top of them for the first year and a half. Because you should never have them spayed or neutered until they are at least 18 months old or the female should at least go through her first cycle. You don't want them inbreeding. It isn't that you shouldn't keep to dogs from the same litter you just have to be careful about them producing a litter amongst themselves.
