    Ah! Would love to get out on Lake Powell but I'm in Atlanta, GA. Would have to fly out there and rent a boat... Maybe one day!

    So I just got my first boat, and all of your videos have been great, really helpful, I mean REALLY helpful! Though with the holidays, it would be great to see you post the non-necessary fun gadgets for a boat holiday list.

    Just recently reached the boating side of TH-cam and found your channel- gotta agree, Powell is hands down the best! Went earlier this summer, learned to drive a friend's boat, and got totally drawn in to the boating lifestyle. Definitely planning on going back with my own boat sometime!
    Love your vids by the way. It seems to be mainly dudes making boat content so it's nice to see a fellow woman at the helm. Keep it up!

    Great video! My family and I love Lake Powell. The only problem with Lake Powell is after you go there every other lake seems kind of lame 😜

    Thanks for the cool video of lake Powell. Where would you recommend renting a boat from to see the canyons and rainbow bridge?

    • @Consumer_Warrior
      @Consumer_Warrior 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can rent a boat at Wahweap marina. Rainbow Bridge is a must see but it is a ways up the lake. It is about 60 miles round trip. There is a floating marina called Dangling Rope about half way there were you can refuel. Well worth it.

      Hi Bill! Depending on the kind of boat you want to rent, there are a ton of options. If you want something to just explore, any of the marinas (Wahweap, Antelope, Bullfrog, etc.) would be great to get a pontoon. If you want to get a wakeboat, Surf Lake Powell rents out Axis boats and that would be amazing. I haven't ever rented a boat down there, but there are a lot of good options to get what you need.

    Love your videos. Just bought a new MB B52-23 Alpha. When you go to Powell, do you rent those house boats? Do you tie your Malibu on the side of it at night?

    • @ChantelBoats
      @ChantelBoats  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have a timeshare on a houseboat, so it's the same boat each year. There are lots rental options, though. When we are at the slip we tie it to the boat at night. If we are parked on the beach we tie it off to the anchor lines.

    What time of year do you recommend going? Also from Oregon and have considered the trip. Always like the idea of extending our short season here by traveling when it gets too cold here. Hoping to make a buy from AWS soon!

      My family and I have been going to Lake Powell for nearly 25 years. The summer is fun but can be really hot. In July and August most days are well over 100 degrees. We recently did a houseboat trip on the last week of September and the weather was perfect. I have a handful of videos on TH-cam from this summer th-cam.com/channels/iQuhIwqgmsJ5812IbRkxjg.html?view_as=subscriber

      We normally go in early August and the temps range from high-90's to the 100's most of the time. In July, it is a lot hotter. This year we went in September and it was chilly at night, but awesome in the day time and definitely less crowded. When you are ready to buy, we are here to help!!

    Sorry did you say dinosaur print? Lake powell and the grand canyon are only 6 million years old, there are no dinosaur prints. When I was kid my mom convinced me that an animal called a..... existed that only lived in lake powell canyons. Then one day we found a dead one in a runoff pool on a hike! It was all white so she said it must be an albino. I later learned that what I saw was a potato bug but for a couple decades I was sure we found the legendary and elusive..... (sorry can't remember the exact fictitious word she used yet. Update later.)
