So thankful how you always give God the glory. You’ve definitely become my favorite rider bc of that. So thankful this family is safe and God kept them unharmed. Thanks for sharing.
My dad was killed in an accident coming home from Lake Powell 24 years ago. On oncoming driver fell asleep and hit us head on. Our boat came through the back of our truck. It's incredible to see how much stronger and safer vehicles have become. I'm so glad that everyone was ok.
Oh my head!!!!! I was checking my notifications while watching a good vid and I clicked on this right away! Behind a 120' !!!! Go Shaun! What a beautiful place! I was just thinking that those red dirt peaks where once filled with water, that is why they look like that. See people!!! climate change is not new! THE NAUTIQUE LIVES ON!!!!!! I am on Lake Dunmore in Vermont and these wake boats are just showing up. They are only allowed to create the wake on the north deep end. We have millfoil challenges. Love it!
Wow, wild story! Glad everyone walked away, and the Nauti survived. Ford builds safe trucks for sure. I had a 2015 F150 and was T-boned by a guy in a 2020 GMC that ran a red light at 60mph. Hit me so hard it put me on my roof. I too walked away. The only injury was a small scratch on my left ankle. I went out and bought another F150 and still drive it today!
That's definitely miraculous, to survive a towing accident on I-17. I've pulled my camper thru there, going back and forth to Albuquerque. There's some treacherous drop-offs. Oh yeah, nice ski video too! 👍
I know that the houseboat featured in video is not for rent. I have rented out of wahweap before. Wondering if any of the private fleet is available for rent as they seem like many are nicer/newer than the wahweap fleet?
@@Shaun.Murray Make a few episodes out of it. I can do the camera work/editing for free. (I have a small video production house here) It would be an honor. I also have a 20f Yamaha Wake board boat.
Crazy, when did they up the size limit? I grew up in Page and was actually a rental houseboat instructor haha. I thought the limit was 75'? BTW, been loving this channel and seeing the Lake Powell content! I road a Shaun Murray board back in the day. I met you briefly at a wakeboard competition in Tempe in the early 2000's and you couldn't have been more friendly.
Hey I’m 6’5 about 245lbs what size wake board should I ride because I’m just starting to learn the sport right now I’m riding a 150” x 45” liquid force board should I try to find something bigger or is this about the right size
Does the size of the board matter when it comes to how much pop you get? Because I’m riding behind a 1993 Malibu echelon with a wake board tower on top. That doesn’t make a massive wave
Def go w the biggest board you can find at 6'5" Not sure what Liquid Forces is but the Hyperlite Murray 150 is the biggest they currently make. More size equals more pop and more stable landings. Smaller wakes are better for learning how to properly get pop.
@@Shaun.Murray beautiful! Thanks for the reply. Back in the day, probably 20 years ago, I rolled up to a contest with some buddies in my Suburban with big wheels on it, and you were there and said "Nice truck.." ha. I was like that was Shaun Murray bro - he likes my truck! Been a Nautique guy since the late 80's - keep up the fun videos! Thank you.
Were they able to figure out what happened what caused the crash? Could they tell what happened to the hitch? Safety chains? I'm glad they were all ok, that's not how it usually works out as the Dad already knew from his time in the hospital.
So glad everyone survived that crash, do you have any more info on what happened with the hitch and how the boat came off?

So sorry to hear that Greg
Dang, that's heavy and sad. Super sorry to hear that.
That's an incredible, truly MIRACULOUS story, thanks for sharing!
What a crazy experience! And they still didn't let it ruin their Powell vacation!
I gotta hit lake Powell one day. Crazy scenery for a FL boy

Thanks for sharing this amazing family story…and your pull behind the biggest, fastest house boat on Lake Powell.
Thanks for watching Ron!
Lake Powell is great. Going again this weekend.
Enjoy your ride! ✌️

That's crazy! Landed on the roof?! Walked away. Nuff said 👊🏼
I'm just stoked to see Lake Powell so full after the last couple of years!
Same!

Crazy, that is what you are. Who else would even try it.😮 Awesome and fun content as usual 😂
Out of curiosity, what exactly was the failure in the hitch?

Not sure about that. Good question
Your videos are always so cool
Tour of the houseboat!
Murray, yo have got to come out to Sri Lanka Bro.... It has to be on your bucket list. 🤔
Haven't made it there yet but hopefully one day!

If Shaun says “Can I…” I think we all know the answer by now 🤙
😂
Now go for the smallest boat... How many RC boats to get you out of the water?
😂 I like that idea
Already exists! Tow boogie!

Not sure about size limits. And for sure remember riding at Tempe Town Lake (I think that's what that reservoir was called. Double up contest 👊🏼
God is good and has everything under his control what a story and a great ending

is that the knightline?
So what was the hitch failure?
Think so- crazy how everyone made it out okay
should have asked the captain to set you up with a double up LOL
The 90 second circle! 😂 I like it
My father too, is also Shaun Murray 😂😂😂
😆
Not perfect, but a cheaper alternative to the new Nautique Paragon 😂
😆
Does anyone know if you can rent that houseboat? Link or details would be appreciated. 🙂
No that house boat is family owned it is not up for rent
Good question but Jack is correct

I think you can ride everything and behind anything
Gonna keep trying!
Shaun seemed to lull them into slow motion boredom😂
Is that good?
