    This is a great vid! Just moved BACK to Vegas. As a 6-year resident, I never got our boat out to the Lake. That will change now.

    I loved Lake Powell as a kid and I am 58 years old now. When I was younger it was always filling up. The last time I went when I was a teenager it was very full and you could boat ride up to rainbow bridge. I hesitate to think how far of a hike rainbow bridge is now.

      I wish I had learned about this place sooner in life to see it at that level. Those are truly special memories

      my parents told me about boating to rainbow bridge. ive been to the lake 4 times once a year starting in 2017. the lake was much fuller than it is now and you still had to walk a good while to reach rainbow bridge.

      With low lake levels you can now see Cathedral in the desert and Gregory Arch.

      @FuelForTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Actually I just had an opportunity to fly up to Bullfrog and bring back a houseboat. Hoping to make one more trip like that before the year is over honestly

    Do you think I can take a house boat "75 Ft Excursion" through Antelope Point with a power boat in tow? We want to beach closer to Warm Water. Also, There is gas still at Antelope Point correct?

    • @FuelForTravel
      @FuelForTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Individuals regularly tow power boats behind the Excursion through Antelope Point Marina. And there is still gas there. Be careful coming into Warm Creek Bay because there is hard to see shallow areas there.

    Lake Powell is a wonderful beautiful place to visit and vacation. However, tree huggers and federal bureaucrats are draining the lake on purpose to cause stress and chaos for everyone that benefits from the lake, including everyone down stream.

  • @sosure
    @sosure 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    it's actually quite Beautiful, except for all those damn polluting ugly boats!!!
