My mom use to always make this when i was younger. I always took it for granted because I preferred western food like hamburgers and pizza-you know, growing up in the States and all. Now that I"m an adult living away from home, I always crave Mom's dishes such as this wonderful dish. Thanks for the upload.

Hi sis for the past 4 months we don’t have any Frozen Bai ya Nang Leaves. Thank god sister from NY brought us some. So I used only one pack per pot. For some reason I think they banded these leaves in the U.S Markets on my side of town

Lao American Lady แม่บ้านลาว really sis? That’s bad news if that’s true. That leaves is essential to our Lao cooking. The can type doesn’t come close to the real taste. I stopped buying it. Maybe we can plant our own sis? 😁 I see a lot of the plant at Lao new year in Murfreesboro TN.
