Thank you for this tutorial! I love the way that you explain things and the way that you demonstrate with a different color thread so it’s easier for us to see. I’m a beginner sewist and will try to use some of these techniques for my grand daughter’s Halloween costume. She has requested a high low tutu and I will put a satin liner underneath. Now to figure out how to do a high low version 😂🧐

How about measurements, such as "Cut the lengths of fabric 4 times the waist measurement." Or at least supply the measurement of the width of the fabrics, please.

I’m looking to making a costume for a parade. I need to make a tulle skirt to stick up and out, super full, with an elastic waist, and I have to do it all by hand. Any suggestions to help?

You are going to need a ton of layers and gather it really really tight. Not sure about the by hand sewing..
