Queens hotel, Kandy

Queens hotel in Kandy, Sri Lanka, is the place to be when in town. It is not the fanciest or best kept accomodation in town but it is the only one with a history. You stay here because of the atmosphere, the ease of enjoying Kandy and maybe also the great pool or the rustic Mountbatten Bar. This film is just a quick glimpse at what you will get at this hotel. Some of the rooms have balconies, but the one in the film doesn't. You will also only see the restaurant directed at foreigners. There is also a restaurant next to the pool and that one is directed at locals. They use the same kitchen but different menus.

They really need to do some renovation to make it looks better. Now its like cheao hotel

That's correct, but this hotel is not one you use because of its standards. You primarily stay here because of its history and its location. Comparatively it's not an expensive hotel.
