I tried and loved low pressure aeroponics. As a newbie, my only and not so much pruned tomato tree (sweet orange variety) supplied us with 19.4kg of tomatoes within 9 months.
Thanks for a great tutorial! I have everything I need to get one of these up & running today 😊 Had no idea AG was on the way out, such a shame. They got me started on hydroponic growing and I’ll always treasure my first harvest 360.
No worries, you are in the right place :) Cloning is where you take a cutting (just literally just cut a piece of a plant off) and set it in water until the piece itself will sprout new roots and become an entirely new plant. Almost ALL plants can be cloned in some way. It also makes an exact replica of that plant, so if you like the particular flavor of a basil plant, clone it.
I had no idea AeroGarden is going out of business. I've 3D printed 3 towers that are going great, but always thought I would one day buy an AeroGarden only because I'm kind of obsessed and wanted to compare. Now I'm definitely going to buy one! I wonder why they're going out of business. What a shame.
I know right! I'm about to stock up, dime a dozen.... I'm not sure shat happened behind close doors, I'm sure more details will surface as time goes on.
I always wanted one, but they never really come to Europe for some reason, and their prices are crazy high. I dreamed of getting rich and buying one, now there is no reason to get rich.
Did you know about pvc pipe toxins ? and safer alternatives ? if the pvc pipes leach then the plants are absorbing too and then we are eating the plants, this may be an issue. PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Experts recommend replacing PVC pipes with safer alternatives, such as:Recycled copper pipes Stainless steel pipes These materials are more environmentally friendly and have been shown to be less toxic than PVC. monitor water quality and detect potential contamination. The PVC pipe industry has disputed the findings, claiming that PVC pipes are safe and more environmentally friendly than metal pipes. However, many experts and advocacy groups argue that the industry’s claims are based on flawed studies and that the risks associated with PVC pipe leachates are real. yes this pertains to drinking water but if your using it for the plants they absorb and we eat .Water systems with PVC pipes may be more susceptible to chemical leaching and contamination during periods of high water usage or temperature fluctuations. PVC pipes are susceptible to chemical degradation and leaching when exposed to acidic environments (pH < 6.5).In contrast, PVC pipes are relatively inert in neutral to alkaline environments (pH 6.5-8.5).Elevated temperatures (above 20°C) can accelerate PVC pipe degradation and leaching. Water systems with PVC pipes may be more susceptible to chemical leaching and contamination during periods of high water usage or temperature fluctuations.Microbial growth and biofilm formation on PVC pipes can also influence leaching. The presence of microorganisms can accelerate chemical degradation and release of contaminants. It’s essential to note that the industry standard for preventing unsafe health impacts from plumbing systems due to chemical leaching is NSF 61. FlowGuard Gold CPVC pipes, for instance, are certified to NSF 61 under all water conditions. However, not all materials can claim this certification, something to think about.

Just found you man! Thanks for the ideas.
I am brand new to this entire world of hydroponics, so please forgive me for the dumb question. Could someone explain what cloning is?

Can you use seeds in this? Specifically lettuce?
DL’d a few guides a couple hours ago - still waiting for a DL email. Can’t wait, but wondering up sump-in’s up with the DL-ifier. ??
They should automatically download when you click the download button.
Can you please make a DIY aeroponic(LPA/HPA) tower(by heating and bending a PVC pipe) with a misting nozzle instead of a raining shower system?
yes sir, also, is it cool if a do another fog one? 😜
@@humblegrowth of course 😊😊❤❤
Just curious …what is the bin container made out of ? Is it a “safe “ plastic ?
indeed

I think short of kratky gardens this might be the build with the fewest components I've seen

Thank you for this
