Sorry bro, it sucks that it can get like that. I been guilty of it sadly. But like others say, Jesus calls not to hate, but to love. Even if they dont wanna listen. Jesus says to love even your enemies, which is something a lot of us forget. However, I can tell there is something in your heart that wants to listen, especially since you’re watching this video. I hope you best bro

Yea I can relate, not athiest but “Christians” that aren’t exactly following Jesus or trying if anything they use it as a weapon so as a Christian who is genuinely trying to follow him daily and remove as much sin from my life as possible it’s kinda conflicting bc they look at me kinda crazy but claim they believe in God

@asiajackson1550 I feel your pain. If they believeyou have an advantage, that is that you can lead them to scripture to show them why you choose to behave like that. It's a really good thing to be able to have someone to speak with and not get into a whole argument about it. My instinct as a christian is to encourage you to pursue Jesus just a little bit to understand why He is so amazing, but only at your own pace. Please let no one force christianity on you, and certainly don't let me force you. From personal experience, it tends not to work if you force it on yourself either 😅

      @Mattt9K หลายเดือนก่อน

@@WhiteListedhere it's also important for you to view the theists as people who are trying to save you and not trying to argue with you.
Atheists live in a "no one can tell me what to do" idea of life. It's not about a theists viewpoint to bend you to someone else's will, but to free you of the control of someone else's will, haha. (satan)
Unfortunately, the lackadaisical approach is so impenetrable it took God almost 34 years to get to me.
He will get to you too if you'd allow Him.

    • @Colddirector
      @Colddirector หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@Mattt9KSatan is controlled opposition set up by the church in order to enforce obedience. Big Brother did the same thing in Orwell’s 1984 - spread the myth of Goldstein and the Brotherhood to blame the party’s failures on and give the people an enemy to focus on instead of Big Brother. In fact, the patricians pulled this kind of thing to stop the plebs from agitating for further rights during the early Roman republic - declaring war after war after war against random tribes in order to quash pleb resistance and have it labeled as treason.
Questioning power during wartime is often considered tantamount to treason, so having an eternal spiritual war is a great way to stop people from asking inconvenient questions. Given God could stop Satan literally whenever he wants, it’s not hard to conclude that he, or more likely, the people who formed this doctrine, want this “spiritual war” for similar reasons.

@gmlvr2256I want to, gently, point out that you’re doing something atheists really get irked by. The way you phrased your comment implies that the reason an atheist would be talking to a Christian is because they have an interest in Jesus, or that naturally they would want to pursue seeing how great he is. That simply not the case almost every time.

I was an atheist. I didn't believe in God at all. Even the idea of it. I was taught evolution, cavemen, etc. I thought Christianity was a book club.
I didn't even give people who believed a chance. I was never disrespectful, but I thought they were so naive and not intelligent. Not because of their beliefs, but their unwillingness to understand my point of view. (how ironic)
It wasn't until I was ripped down by the world. Gave up. Made my own decision to change and built myself back up. When I was at my "highest" I still felt so empty. That's when I decided to take the leap and go to church. It looked like whatever therapeutic cult Christians were into seemed to be working. So I went into church on Easter. It wasn't until the music seemed to have a voice of it's own and then the sermon completely broke me personally. I rose my hand that day, but my salvation wasn't apparent until I died to myself and understood God's forgiveness and grace.
I was 34. I am 35 now with a beautiful wife and three children. I wish I would of knew Him sooner..
You want to win over an atheist? Ask two questions...
Have you ever believed in God and decided to not follow? OR
Have you even considered God is real?
You'll find out real quick if someone is just completely oblivious or if someone is running from themselves.
I love your videos and I just wanted to answer your ad/question. YES your videos are making an impact. My salvation has direct correlation between this channel and Cliffe Knechtle's no nonsense/logical approach.

So she was just looking for comfort, not to distinguish reality from fantasy? As an atheist, myself, I find that weird. I'm an atheist because I see no good evidence that gods are real - _any_ gods. Do _you_ have anything distinguishable from wishful-thinking backing up your religious beliefs? If so, I'd love to hear it. I'd love to hear *one piece of good evidence* that your god is real, rather than just imaginary.
But if you're just claiming that we'll be happier believing in a pleasant fantasy, I'm not interested. I care about the truth. I _care_ about the truth. That's why I'm evidence-based, not faith-based. I think that the truth of our beliefs _matters._

      What are his parents like?
      Who are his influences?

I find a lot of Christians are really bad at listening and answering questions. I mean as a Christian myself, in most denominations if I ask a question, they seem to attack and flail...or even if I leave a comment somewhere on a video I agree with, someone will attack and say why I am wrong, who also disagrees with the video as well as me. I try to be open and honest when dealing with all people whether they agree or not, and this video shows the importance of that.
But it does make it hard as someone who is Christian but has not found the right church yet to do so, because every question is seen as an attack when really, my goal is to listen, learn, and respond, expecting the other person to be able to do the same. Especially, if we already agree on Christ, and most Christian principles. Sometimes it even feels easier to talk to an Atheist than fellow Christians. I think we would do best to talk to all people like you suggest here, with a humble, open heart and mind.

Yes, it's not easy for Christians to sell the idea that a person will be tortured for all eternity if they don't join their cult. I know they don't think of it that way, but that's, in essence, what they're doing. This is why its so hard to find a more gentle way of dong it.
Imagine trying to find a gentle way of telling your wife that you'll set her on fire if she doesn't make dinner. It doesn't matter how carefully you word it, it doesn't matter how softly spoken you are, the threat is the problem.

The comment about "there is no God, or certainly not a just one, because there is so much evil" is one i hear often as a reason for unbelief. And this brings to mind the beginning of John 9 where Jesus heals the blind man. His disciples ask Him is he suffering for his own sin or his parent's and Jesus responds saying neither but that the works of the Father may be displayed in him. Even through all the sin and evil, He still works and loves. I myself wonder why there must be so much conflict and He reminded me that it was what is happening to the Palestinian people that renewed my faith and zeal in Him. It makes me ashamed that it took the plight and ongoing massacre of an entire people for me to be reached and that I would question His plans even after that. But I am also in awe that He let's nothing go to waste and made evil work to reach even me

It’s like so many people grew up in privilege whether it was a loving supportive home, financially stable, no traumatic issues or being led to believe they are God’s only chosen, and loved and whatever else and they either assume anyone who doesn’t see their religious views are automatically evil or if people didn’t grow up the same way then they must not know God or they can’t process that many people have religious trauma or the fact people who are atheists are simply out there living their lives, etc because they are HUMAN!!! Seems like a lot of religious people grew up with inflated egos to the point they think it’s “them” vs us yet the Bible shows how we’re all human and fall short yet if you walk into a church and say you’re an atheist instead of many just saying “Well come on in, have a seat” you’d get stared at like you’re the spawn of satan or some alien species from another planet, or told you’re going to hell if you don’t believe in Jesus or change your mind by end of service, it’s pathetic. There are numerous Christians who were former atheists including those in the Bible. But people show their hearts without realizing it. I pray everyday God continues working on mine and that I’m aligned to HIS word and not these fake Christians who obviously don’t know him or else this comment section would be more aligned to Jesus’ teaching.

As an atheist, here are some do's and don't's on how to talk to us:
    1) if you don't like arguing for whatever reason, then don't bring up religion, and don't bring up claims that are blatantly and obviously false.
    2) do not tell us what we believe.
    3) do not lie.
    4) if you don't understand something, ask.
    5) if you don't know something or can't answer a question, just admit it.
    6) do NOT say things like "I'll pray for you", or "God loves you", or other things like that, because that's passive aggressive arrogance and is perceived as hostile.
    7) do not try to threaten us with statements like "you'll find out when you die", as this is an admittance you can't defend your position. We are not threatened by something we consider imaginary.
    8) understand and oppose the existence of persecution of atheists. Throughout history, we have been mass murdered, mass persecuted, robbed of basic human rights, hated by all, shunned, banished, oppressed, tortured, and everything bad under the Sun. All evils have been bestowed upon us, simply for not believing something for which there is no evidence. So understand that we have thousands of years of global history of believers doing unspeakable evil against atheists for no reason, and that this is something we don't want, and that this is a big reason we fight against religion.
If you simply wish to truly understand our position, ask and learn. We will happily explain everything to someone who humbly presents their ignorance but willingness to learn.
And keep in mind: nothing in science goes against God. So if your beliefs go against the scientific facts, you need to re-evaluate your beliefs, not reality.

My sister converted to atheisam in the age of 15, i always tried to convince her that atheism is wrong, she didnt care, cuz i felt like she hated me and always when i said something, she would always be against me, doesnt matter what it was, once i sided with atheism in a atheism vs islam argument and since my sister "hates me" i am pretty sure she didnt even listen what i said, cuz she immedietly started talking about how i was wrong, but not in a muslim way, but in a cristian way... Thank for this video, much love❤️ God bless🙏✝️
Edit: yeah, it didnt get any better, she just told me that she broke up with her boyfriend this summer and i didnt even know, but you know the reason? She said: "Well i feel like a lesbian"...yeah i mean i am not homophobic, but i feel like she is just saying she is lesbian cuz she just wants to be antichristian... I hope i am wrong tho...

My elder sister tried sharing the gospel with me many years, and I argued with her and asked her so many questions. However, eventually I was won over and I truly understood God's love for me, I am fruit to show that we must never give up on our siblings. I was the last to be saved in my family. Hey guys, I was a childhood catholic, I followed Christ and his teachings to the heart, but after some time during my teenager years and the tragic murder of my mother I lost faith in God, because I felt abandoned, and I knew God didn't abandon anyone so I thought God didn't exist.
But after living in sin for 15 years as an atheist I heard the call and returned to the flock, feeling ashamed for beeing away from God but bliss that he never abandoned me, I felt the same love I felt as a kid.
I think what makes most atheist is the disconnect/feeling of abandonment with God, and they think that you can only prove God if you can feel it, but God acting as the holy spirit is not needed to be felt to be believed or trusted, if you can feel the holy spirit that is great, but true faith comes from someone who believes without any proof.
Anyways, I hope this helps out we spread the message further of Christ, our lord and brother by the father and his sacrifice and resurrection in the cross. Amen!

Praise God for your return!! I'm very sorry for your loss of your mom. God honors our suffering by pointing us back to Him through these experiences in ways that we would have never understood otherwise.
I would like to point out that our faith comes from belief in God's proven character. He proves it through fulfilling His promise to rescue us from sin through the death and resurrection of His Son, His Word, and through our personal experiences in interacting with His Spirit. I think it's a common misconception that our faith is blind in that we just believe something without any evidence. For sure, our faith is not dependent on our feelings or in our inability to comprehend all the ways which God is working. Our faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things unseen (Hebrews 11:1)

Thank you for your kind words, and yes, our faith can be proven with many miracles and testimonies that happened with people that turned them to the faithful path, I only meant that we don't need to feel to know it's real, I have phrased on a wrong way haha

It can be difficult to debate atheists, because the worldview of atheism is so rooted in pride.
I've spoken to former atheists whom have claimed when Christians would challenge their old worldview, they took personal offence.
I've found since converting, that while Christianity is personal to me, people who challenge it are not challenging me, but God, whom is infallible - so I don't feel any personal threat or offence from it. I may discourage blasphemy, but that is not for my benefit.

i mostly disagree about your point about atheism worldview, the worldview of atheism is centered around the concept that science are enemies are against religion, thus no reason to belive in God, this concept is pretty dumb since Math is the language of God, in my opinion Religion and Science are 2 parts of the same thing, no one is superior over the other.

    • @RilaAudio
      @RilaAudio หลายเดือนก่อน

@@robertslayerofmonsters1302 To answer your first comment, I don't think that anyone would consider that a sin, assuming it was earned through merit, and you have the basic level of thankfulness to your creator for giving you a life privilaged enough to be in a position to take calculus. That's a misunderstanding of what the sin of Pride actually refers to.
Pride is simply the act of trying to place oneself above God - in any respect.
Whilst I agree with your definition to an extent, I would elaborate by adding that Atheism is essentially the worldview that a very specific group of humans know better than God, and that everyone should believe what they say instead, based on their comparatively exceptionally limited (and often shortsighted) understanding of the universe.
Atheism is indeed, as you say in your second comment, a flawed perspective as Christianity and Scientific Theory are two sides of the same coin. One which refers to the Creator's authority of understanding; the other to the creations'. It is this last point why Atheism is so rooted in Pride; we cannot know better than God - a truth that Atheism has tried and failed to disprove time and time again.
Make no mistake, Atheism and science are not synonymous.
We can, in fact, attribute a large portion scientific breakthroughs to Christianity be that directly or indirectly by a great many Christian scientists, inventors, and investors throughout history.
I would write more, but this is already far too long and I'd be amazed if this survives the YT content filter anyway.

Get to the Gospel, but don't force you way too it. Sometimes you can have a general conversation and give the person a tract that they can read for themselves without feeling forced.

My best friend is Mormon, but I’ve had a friendship breakup due to atheism. It was my friend who broke it off- sometimes atheists can come off as so *angry* towards Christianity, so much so I get intimidated and scared. I don’t preach, I wasn’t always Christian. I can understand the other side of the coin. But I can’t deal with that baseline anger. Sometimes I just think that when people aren’t ready to hear something, it wouldn’t matter who says it or what’s said, it wouldn’t matter and they won’t listen. It wouldn’t sink in. Nowadays I really just avoid atheists. I tend to be conflict avoidant. I’m shy enough face to face, and I don’t go asking for conflict. I don’t dislike them, more like I’m wary. I try to see the face of the Lord in everyone, atheist or not. But I myself am not comfortable with arguing or debating with people.

I hear you, and I feel the same wariness you speak of when it comes to atheists. But I do think it’s important trying to talk to them regardless of the aggression . My best friend was atheist his entire life and was always very adamant and almost angry with his beliefs and gripes towards God. But over a bit of time and me not giving up on him, he turned to Christ. And that feeling was so reassuring. Now I understand that not every atheist you talk with is going to be your best friend, giving you probably only one opportunity to make a case for Christ but sometimes one good conversation is enough.

Saying this as a Christian who has a pretty rational mind, we need to avoid bad arguments when discussing faith and belief and why we choose to follow Christ in particular.
Statements like “You can’t prove there ISN’T a God” are terrible arguments. We are the ones making the assertion that there is, so we need to be the ones to provide the argument. We also shouldn’t be afraid of saying “I don’t know.” I know that I can’t fully explain why I believe what I do, not in a fully logical way. There are intangibles we have to acknowledge. But that’s the core of faith, right?

    • @mach1205

I'm a Christian and would say that the example isn't a bad argument, it's just often presented in bad form.
If what you are doing is a gentle push for conversation, there could be a time or a way to say "well I see no evidence that points conclusively that there is 100 percent no God, what do you think?"
That kind of comment could be presented early in an evangelistic style conversation, something like what Ray Comfort does.
Anyway it's not the argument itself, it's the way it's presented. I think the heart of the issue is that Christians, and that may include me when they see an opportunity they want to force their way into speaking the Gospel.
As such, our emotions betray us and people pick up on our body language and tone, which can be off-putting.

@@mach1205 Speaking as an atheist it's a bad argument and it is the argument itself and it's no way you could present it that would escape you shifting the burden of proof and the moment you do that it makes it very easy for an atheist to dismiss your claim. It moves the conversation no where. Not being able to disprove something is not a good reason to believe anything because it's plenty of things I am sure you don't believe that you have no way of 100 disproving. Shifting the burden of proof is a huge indicator that you have no proof. You do not believe something because it cannot be disproven you believe it because it can be proven

At the end of the day, the beliefs we have come from our personal life experiences. That's something both theists and atheists struggle to understand.
We believe certain things based on our life and what we've endured. Theists and atheists are so hostile to each other so often because we lack empathy and understanding, we struggle to understand each other out of pride.
Pride (in the biblical sense of the word) leads to rebellion against God, and also against ourselves. The people.
The beliefs we have should shape our lives and the lives of everyone who shares those beliefs, but it shouldn't shape the lives of those who don't.
If your atheists friends are uninterested in learning about God, leave them be and pray for them in private. That's all you can do. Love them in the same way God loves you.
