I pre-ordered my Season 11 weeks ago and am looking forward to receiving it. I own all 11 seasons on DVD and plan to re-watch from the beginning before Season 12 starts.
I got mine yesterday a couple of days early. Season 11 was the best season so far. I own every season but this was the most excited I had been to get my DVDs in a long time.
Is there a way to get any of this in another format other than a DVD set? I understand you need to charge for all of the time and work it takes to complie all of this, but can we download the content?
I love WCTH and have seasons 1 to 9. However I did not buy season 10 because I didn't enjoy it from episode 5 on and the ending was heartbreaking for all of us Lucabeth Hearties. Season 11 made no sense and it is irritating how they copied so many iconic and romantic Lucas and Elizabeth scenes. Hopefully next season we get the real Elizabeth and Hope Valley back and then maybe I will enjoy it enough to buy the DVD. Won't be buying any more clothes or other merchandise either. Had hoped for Lucabeth wedding merchandise but it looks like they are going another direction . Very disappointing.
Alfonso Moreno who was the showrunner for S6&7 who created Lucas & Nathan in S6 has come out and said, "he made Nathan for Elizabeth." That's why when the show got off track with the showrunner in S8&S9, Alfonso agreed to come back as a consultant with Lindsay Sturman as showrunner to get WCTH back to the course Alfonso intended it to be with Elizabeth and Nathan as a couple! ❤😊 I'm sure in S12, Lucas will get a good storyline as governor. He had to go through growing pains as a new governor trying to learn how to do the job. Also, I'm sure Jeanette stopped anyone who may have helped Lucas with the resort project in S11. I think Lindsay knows TL is disappointed and will give Lucas a good storyline and a new love interest that he meets in Capital City. Just give Lindsay time to work her magic & correct the former showrunner's mistake from S9. My understanding is he got fired for what he did. The co-creators were not happy with the script, but they didn't have time to correct course in S9 so they allowed the engagement to happen and be filmed. Then Hallmark executives and the co-creators fired him. Hallmark and the co-creators hired Lindsay to fix the story and get Nathan and Elizabeth together as a couple. Alfonso said "Nathan was meant for Elizabeth." He came back to the show, WCTH because he was invested in them since he created Nathan especially for Elizabeth.
We'll see. A lot can happen unexpectedly. We were promised a wedding which ended in a five minute scene at the train station when Elizabeth broke Lucas's heart. There's a lot of evidence that this is a dream like Dallas. Kavan said it seems like Rosemary wrote it. Allie Devreau said they had a lot of room to play this year. Why? Elizabeth's whole personality has regressed and there have been too many copied scenes to be believable. A dream would make the most sense of it all.
@@joanputnam5301 but that doesn't make sense for it to be a dream because if they intended for it to be a dream, they wouldn't have gotten upset with JT for getting Elizabeth and Lucas engaged and Hallmark & the co-creators wouldn't have fired him.

She only said cruel things to Nathan after he told her he loved her once again. She was trying to get Nathan to stop trying to pursue her because of her fear. She was trying to protect herself from getting hurt again. But she was in love with Nathan and was trying to deny it both to herself and to Nathan. She tried lying to herself and Nathan. As far as Lucas goes. Her relationship with him was all fantasy. It was a safe comfortable love. Elizabeth gave Lucas a tea cup with a picture of a sail boat. She recalled was quite similar to a family sail boat called Safe Harbor. This indicates her relationship with Lucas was safe. The whole entire romance showed her and Lucas both of them left reality behind. They were in a fantasy, where they were floating in a hot air balloon 🎈 their entire relationship. Well the balloon burst in S10 and Elizabeth realized she wanted something real. So, she broke up with Lucas. I think Lucas wanted something real too. That's why he wasn't more upset at the train station. He saw being governor was a real opportunity and something real. So, he left by train (or sailed away, figuratively speaking) to Capital City. At the end of S10, She wanted to be grounded in reality raising her son in HV where she had always planned to raise him. Elizabeth wanted a real relationship. Something that was geniune and based on reality. So, in S11 she realized her feelings for Nathan never went away. She was still in love with him.. Her friendship with Nathan, she realized was more than friendship to her. So, she tried to get their solid, strong friendship and connection they had to move from a friendship zone to a romantic relationship, but the problem was she didn't know if Nathan still felt the same. Elizabeth questioned if Nathan was still in love with her. So, Elizabeth was moving slowly trying to figure it out. At the same time, Nathan wasn't sure why Elizabeth broke up with Lucas. Nathan didn't want to assume that just because Elizabeth was no longer with Lucas and completely single that she would want a relationship with him. Nathan kept trying to figure out if she was just wanting friendship or if he was reading her right and she wanted something more. So, Nathan was cautious and moved slowly. He realized that even if Elizabeth was starting to open herself up to a romantic relationship with him. He needed to move slowly so she wouldn't run away in fear again. Also, he was trying to protect himself in case he was reading her wrong. So, we got the gentle, "Love Comes Softly" romance storyline for Elizabeth and Nathan. It wasn't until Elizabeth realized that the past still mattered- what happened between Elizabeth and Nathan still mattered that she needed to talk to Nathan about it. So, in S11, episode 11 Elizabeth took the emotional lead in their relationship. Elizabeth apologized to Nathan for hurting him and said it was fear that got in the way, she gave that beautiful speech, and ended with "Nathan, I'm in love with you." Elizabeth stopped denying her heart's desire and realized her fear only hurt her. So, now she is only being truthful to herself and Nathan. Elizabeth has come back to living in reality. Once Elizabeth admitted to Nathan, "Nathan, I'm in love with you." There was nothing holding Nathan back either because he still was in love with her. So, Nathan took the physical lead and kissed her. Then he said, "I never stopped loving you not for one second." And kissed her again. Now their "friendship" is going from a solid, strong, friendship and connection to a solid, strong, romance and love with trust and honesty at the core with friendship still being a strong foundation in their romantic relationship. In S11 episode 12, we see Nathan still taking the physical lead going in for kisses throughout their time together as a couple. This storyline is real, it's not a dream. There is no going back to Lucas. Reality is Elizabeth was in love with Nathan ever since he declared he was in love with her in season 8, but because he is a mountie that made her fearful. She ran away. He had said he would give up the mounties for her, but Elizabeth knew from her relationship & marriage to Jack that being in law enforcement is a calling and didn't want Nathan giving it up for her. So, in S8 she ran away rejecting him because of fear. However, she was always in love with Nathan when he first declared his love in S8 She just denied it for a long time. Lying to both herself and Nathan. In S11, Elizabeth faced reality that she's in love with Nathan.]
