I've dabbled with the idea of being an artist for so long, but I have never been able to figure out what exactly I want to do, and I think I've finally realized that it's this. The use of dark shading, the colors, the level of excruciating detail... this is perfect. This is officially my favorite artstyle, period. Well done, Robbie.

Opening scene with the mountain cut road overlooking a valley with a river, with an island in the river; was that inspired by the Storm King highway (Rte. 218) in the Hudson Valley, NY? It look so similar.
This was very interesting, reminded me a lot of fantastic planet or savage planet i cant remember the name. There will always be a place in my heart for this kind of cut out animation.

Animatehn it’s stop motion animation and everything is drawn with prisma color pencils.
