LYRICS: Got a big plan, this mindset maybe its right At the right place and right time, maybe tonight And the whisper or handshake sending a sign Wanna make out and kiss hard, wait never mind Late night, and passing, mention it flipped her Best friend, who knows saying maybe it slipped But the slip turns to terror and a crush to light When she walked in, he froze up, believe its the fright Its cute in a way, till you cannot speak And you leave to have a cigarette, your knees get weak An escape is just a nod and a casual wave Obsessed about it, heavy for the next two days It's only just a crush, it'll go away It's just like all the others it'll go away Or maybe this is danger and he just don't know You pray it all away but it continues to grow I want to hold you close Skin pressed against me tight Lie still, and close your eyes girl So lovely, it feels so right I want to hold you close Soft breasts, beating heart As I whisper in your ear I want to fucking tear you apart Then he walked up and told her, thinking that he'd passed And they talked and looked away a lot, doing the dance Her hand brushed up against his, she left it there Told him how she felt and then they locked in a stare They took a step back, thought about it, what should they do 'Cause there's always repercussions when you're dating in school But their lips met, and reservations started to pass Whether this was just an evening or a thing that would last Either way he wanted her and this was bad He wanted to do things to her it was making him crazy Now a little crush turned into a like And now he wants to grab her by the hair and tell her I want to hold you close Skin pressed against me tight Lie still, and close your eyes girl So lovely, it feels so right I want to hold you close Soft breaths, beating heart As I whisper in your ear I want to fucking tear you apart

I owned a club in early 2000s and hosted a Goth Night called Spectral Erosa. The promoter was a DJ named Triskl. He gave me a promo of this song after it caught my attention during one of his sets. I added it to my own electro sets and always got a ton of attention. Great song !
Cool story - the band themselves ran a goth night for teenage girls and you can imagine what happened to those girls and why the club had to be shut down. What an awesome story! 🤢
Holy shit..... I used to collaborate with a very close person, writing the base for my upcoming novel Salem. One day, he sent me this song, telling me it was how his character viewed the protagonist, and it fit so perfectly, I had it on loop every time I wrote scenes between them. I haven't been able to get in contact with him for months now. He was in a very bad place last time we were in contact, and I'm worried I'll only see him again on the other side. Today I found this song again, and it inspired me so much to write Salem... and gave me the true person to dedicate the novel to. Cruci, if you're still out there, please... Caroline can't burn without you.
that's what brought me here. I just heard of these guts but am a big Bauhaus from back in the '80s growing up. this band has made my day, along with the mash-up tune. I have just been reconnected with something I adore lying dormant inside me after so long.
@@andreamaldonado1780 I just died a little inside from that... Bela Lugosi is a legend, to the extent that the Buahaus made a song about him titled Bela Lugosi's Dead (undead).

Who cares if they found this because of Ahs , at least they discovered the song and gave it the recognition that it deserves ... Damn hipsters, always think they're better because they heard the song before it was all that popular
+Zaire Lewis It always surprises me when I hear something on show I haven't heard before. This was especially surprising because music like this is just my taste; I am into dark wave and indie. Still, I love to be surprised by a show when they have a hip soundtrack of music I have or haven't heard of. Breaking Bad had me running to you tube as well (that is how I found Honey Claws).
An artist i began listening to around May, the second artist i started listening to while getting myself acquainted to the Gothic genre, will eternally love this song and every other song by She Wants Revenge. 🖤❤️
They were an opening act that I saw live a couple years ago. That's how I discovered them. People really don't pay enough attention to the opening act sometimes.
This album pretty much got me through my first year out of high school. I was quiet and scared and angry and had no idea who I was but this song and this video especially made me feel so SEEN! Ah the good old bad old days...
Middle Gen-X here. I completely agree. I love how the younger generations on here think they discovered something but it really has an early/mid 80's vibe to it.
How this song didn't start a major mainstream coldwave revival I'll never know. Because the song was huge when it came out, and that was the I Love the 80's era.
Amazing song, the mood is just so dark and romantic at the same time. Someone should make a music video for the movie Let Me In. This song would work so well with the two of them.

Looking through the comments, one can't help but be annoyed by the large amount of people that rushed to type a corny joke, or an "edgy" comment about not knowing what the video means... Before they actually gave it some fucking thought. No wonder creativity is dying, you people want your videos to be ignorance, explosions, and narratives spelled out for you in crayon. This video is great.

I first listened to this song when I was in High School, I totally forgot about it, for some reason it popped in my brain about an hour ago but couldn't remember the name, took me about 30 minutes of googling different combinations of search words but I'm glad I found it again.
Well as a 48 year-old virgin, I didn't have the luxury of a girlfriend whilst watching this hot opening Gaga scene in AHS. So I just improvised with an old pillow. After that I washed the pillow and had a nice cup of tea and a ginger biscuit whilst waiting for it to dry. It was a very nice ginger biscuit, not too spicy. Some of those cheaper brands really get you at the back of your throat. Which reminds me, got to collect mother's prescription in the morning before I head to my AA meeting.

I tought it was an old punk song
@@jarredescobedo4 You completely missed the point. This is very much like what a goth in the 80's would want to hear. I completely agree with Joanne.
Love that these guys are finally getting some recognition!
Gotta love American Horror Story!
Its in the Number 23, with Jim Carrey too...
LYRICS:
Got a big plan, this mindset maybe its right
At the right place and right time, maybe tonight
And the whisper or handshake sending a sign
Wanna make out and kiss hard, wait never mind
Late night, and passing, mention it flipped her
Best friend, who knows saying maybe it slipped
But the slip turns to terror and a crush to light
When she walked in, he froze up, believe its the fright
Its cute in a way, till you cannot speak
And you leave to have a cigarette, your knees get weak
An escape is just a nod and a casual wave
Obsessed about it, heavy for the next two days
It's only just a crush, it'll go away
It's just like all the others it'll go away
Or maybe this is danger and he just don't know
You pray it all away but it continues to grow
I want to hold you close
Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right
I want to hold you close
Soft breasts, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
I want to fucking tear you apart
Then he walked up and told her, thinking that he'd passed
And they talked and looked away a lot, doing the dance
Her hand brushed up against his, she left it there
Told him how she felt and then they locked in a stare
They took a step back, thought about it, what should they do
'Cause there's always repercussions when you're dating in school
But their lips met, and reservations started to pass
Whether this was just an evening or a thing that would last
Either way he wanted her and this was bad
He wanted to do things to her it was making him crazy
Now a little crush turned into a like
And now he wants to grab her by the hair and tell her
I want to hold you close
Skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, and close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right
I want to hold you close
Soft breaths, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
I want to fucking tear you apart

I owned a club in early 2000s and hosted a Goth Night called Spectral Erosa. The promoter was a DJ named Triskl. He gave me a promo of this song after it caught my attention during one of his sets. I added it to my own electro sets and always got a ton of attention. Great song !
I love scrolling thru comments and reading awesome stories like this. No matter how the song found you, it brought us all back here, to this video!
Cool story - the band themselves ran a goth night for teenage girls and you can imagine what happened to those girls and why the club had to be shut down. What an awesome story! 🤢
Can you imagine creating something this good to leave your mark in this world? Fucking epic.
Yes, and i will eventually do so.
i should've known you listen to this song Michael lmao but you're right.
First heard this in the Jim Carey movie "The Number 23", WEIRD MOVIE, but liked seeing Carey in a serious roll....
Movie really made you think, which was interesting to me. Weird? Yes, but in all the good ways.
ahhh i loved him in those gothic frames...😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Bought the CD when this came out and never regretted it.
I torrented the CD when it came out and never regretted it.
12 years ago my buddy passed away, this was his favorite song and they played it at his service.. RIP Justin Facio.
I'm obsessed!!! Thank you AHS for introducing this
Gaga escogió esta canción para su introducción
+josemir aleman enserio? Nunca pensé que se viera tan bien.
+Eliezer Almengor si ella pidió esa canción para su primer escena, es su canción favorita.
Actually this song was in the movie The number 23. AHS didn't introduce this song.
+chris vargas. Having not seen that film, AHS did in fact introduce the song to me and many others.
Intriguing
Have you written it yet? I would like to read it!
have you written the book yet!??
Captivating 😊
Captions make the video more eerie.
I always imagined this song was about a serial killer obsessing over his soon-to-be 'first kill'.
I've forgot about this band, reminds me of Interpol.
Was gonna say this
The tear you apart / bela lagosi mash-up is sick.
that's what brought me here. I just heard of these guts but am a big Bauhaus from back in the '80s growing up. this band has made my day, along with the mash-up tune. I have just been reconnected with something I adore lying dormant inside me after so long.
Just discovered this band. Been listening to the album non stop. I’m obsessed.
what other song do you like the most?
@ I’ve been listening to their other album This is forever.
Who's still bumping this in 2016?? Ten years later... Still a badass song!!!! ✌🏾️👍🏽👍🏽
HERE!!! YASSSS 👏😎😎
YAS!!!!!

I just discovered them today

LOL-
Of course
Love it. Someone already knows that Bela Lugosi is already dead though.
I don't get it...
@@andreamaldonado1780 I just died a little inside from that... Bela Lugosi is a legend, to the extent that the Buahaus made a song about him titled Bela Lugosi's Dead (undead).
Pennine Lad sounds like it in the beginning huh! Lol
I knew it sounded familiar!
UNDEAD UNDEAD UNDEAD UNDEAD
I honestly thought you were referencing one specific line in one of Vorltaire's songs
Not just a crush, I love her with all my heart. It feels like the story of two halfs and Zeus being jealous, trying to keep us apart but why somehow always find each other. I just wish we could be in an actual (open) relationship and F Zeus
Joaquín Phoenix directed this video... Great actor, great director. He's gonna be an awesome joker
Edit: thanks for the likes, I knew Joaquin Phoenix wouldn't let me down
Yes! xd
Aaron S what when will he play the joker oh u mean he's directing it
@@nataliedunaway9013 Joaquín Phoenix will be the new joker
Joaquín Phoenix? wow I'm surprised.
@@Ninatoro39 yup!
This song never gets old.
Who cares if they found this because of Ahs , at least they discovered the song and gave it the recognition that it deserves ... Damn hipsters, always think they're better because they heard the song before it was all that popular
+Zaire Lewis I don't care how they found it, but a million comments of the same exact thing is pretty god damn annoying.
+Radomid it sucks
I heard this song back when I was in high school. 😄
Damn hipsters.... XP
Any one here in 2024?

This song & that scene in American Horror Story Hotel was EPIC! Brilliant song!
I’ve listening to this song for over 10 years...it still is amazing!
Yes it os
An artist i began listening to around May, the second artist i started listening to while getting myself acquainted to the Gothic genre, will eternally love this song and every other song by She Wants Revenge. 🖤❤️
Me alone dancing with this at full volume with my eyes closed enjoying the song to the fullest. 😌
You could call me up, come on don’t be mean, I’m just kidding.
Covered in blood probably
That's how you do it good for you!!!! ✌️
Doing the snoopy dance 🤣😂👍
Joaquin Pheonix did a wonderful job with this video. Shows his depth.
Can ya understand the lydia secret? I never could
Melina come on
They were an opening act that I saw live a couple years ago. That's how I discovered them. People really don't pay enough attention to the opening act sometimes.
For who?
Agree. This is exactly how I fell into other bands like Silversun and Dead Sara who also fly under the radar
Modern Joy Division. We need more bands like this.
Nah - Ian Curtis didn't write hundreds of songs about how he wanted to sexually assault women, don't disrespect his memory like that please.
This album pretty much got me through my first year out of high school. I was quiet and scared and angry and had no idea who I was but this song and this video especially made me feel so SEEN! Ah the good old bad old days...
What album is it?
@@omdhheheheShe Wants Revenge, same name as the band
I am a product of post punk early 1980's pop, so I feel that I am qualified to state how much I love this song!
100% qualified.
Middle Gen-X here. I completely agree. I love how the younger generations on here think they discovered something but it really has an early/mid 80's vibe to it.
I remember when this song first came out. Oh the memories...
It's weird that your favorite song is from the same day you were born
Happy to see all the Billie fans come check out this song and band I've loved for over a decade. Welcome!
Damn first the strokes now this, awesome taste!
I love this genre of music. Reminds me of some of the more obscure bands I listened to back in the 80's
How this song didn't start a major mainstream coldwave revival I'll never know. Because the song was huge when it came out, and that was the I Love the 80's era.
'going through withdrawals, pardon me'
it's catchy and relatable and clever.
perfect in my opinion.
I'm going to show all my peoples
Amazing song, the mood is just so dark and romantic at the same time.
Someone should make a music video for the movie Let Me In. This song would work so well with the two of them.
Had on a mix CD 10 years ago...33 and still sing it "I wanna fucking tear you apart!"
Ayyye I had it on a burned CD too!! Damn when did we get old
7 years searching for this song! Finally!!!
Printerest brought me here while I was trying to search vampire playlist and I saw a page of it and I came to this it gives me vampire vibes to be honest!! Love it❤️❤️
I don't think a bass riff has ever hooked me on a song so quickly as this
Damn this song is fire.
Saw this for the first time at 4am in a hotel room on a grade 8 school trip, took me 5 years to find it again and it's been included in every playlist since.
❤ I heard it for the first time on the move 23 took me 5 years to find it too!!!!
I got a bass guitar and learned to play this when this came out. Helped me love music and want to play n learn. Such a sick rift still.
Who is here in 2020??
Damnn! I just love this song 💯
I'm here from AHS --
I keep coming back, again and again.

I'm here from my 2014 playlist
I'm here because I found one of my old CD mixes and couldn't remember the name of the band.

Dude 15 years old when I heard this on MTV. I’m 32 and I still love it! So dark with hidden meaning and sexy as hell. In my opinion he’s trying to lose his V but it didn’t go as planned
I shall always treasure the memory of seeing them in Fort Lauderdale a few years ago. They are so bloody awesome live!!! Love this song so much!!
I watched Marilyn Manson and the spooky kids in Fort Lauderdale sooo long ago! I miss the 90s!
Always fucking loved this band. Was surprised that a decade old obscure song made it into AHS. Made me come right on here and listen to these dudes again.
Kyle Thompson I've just started watching season 5, I'm so glad they used this song, it's fucking great
all that soundtrack of Hotel is amazing
Kyle Thompson hey Stevie nicks was spotlighted in the third season, Stevie is life
thanks to Gaga. it's her favorite song.
Kyle Thompson oh yeah I know them for ages now
Looking through the comments, one can't help but be annoyed by the large amount of people that rushed to type a corny joke, or an "edgy" comment about not knowing what the video means... Before they actually gave it some fucking thought. No wonder creativity is dying, you people want your videos to be ignorance, explosions, and narratives spelled out for you in crayon. This video is great.
Agreed!
yup its stupid but thats what the most become today so its no surprise for me....
also the most hate (new and) different things so they will make jokes about it because they are afrait of it or as you said are ignorant!
the video and the music are great^^
I first listened to this song when I was in High School, I totally forgot about it, for some reason it popped in my brain about an hour ago but couldn't remember the name, took me about 30 minutes of googling different combinations of search words but I'm glad I found it again.

We, I and my girlfriend, kissed for the first time listening to this song and watching AHS
Why does that sound so romantic to me?
@@LaFlor718 you feel the way it was, dear
Maria Ambrose that’s an awesome memory. Lowkey jel Lol.
So lucky 🖤
Well as a 48 year-old virgin, I didn't have the luxury of a girlfriend whilst watching this hot opening Gaga scene in AHS. So I just improvised with an old pillow. After that I washed the pillow and had a nice cup of tea and a ginger biscuit whilst waiting for it to dry. It was a very nice ginger biscuit, not too spicy. Some of those cheaper brands really get you at the back of your throat. Which reminds me, got to collect mother's prescription in the morning before I head to my AA meeting.
This song makes me wanna go to a creepy HOTEL.
oh that´s veeeery original..
