These designs are really good. I'm a bit surprised you can't find a way to talk to SEGA or Atlus to get the game published, or co-funded through crowdfunding to get a full development team to work on this game to release. I don't know where you guys are on the actual game stage, but I think a good prototype and a new selling gimmick and this is perfectly on its way to revival.
i like all the talk about the main character's design, and how the passage from 2d to 3d was done and stuff, you dont really hear this kinda stuff and it's really cool, im learning a lot honestly
It just goes to show how important appealing character designs are. I normally wouldn't want to play a racing or sports game. But I would want to play this largely because I like how it looks (same goes for Splatoon oddly enough)

They are definitely some of my most favorite and nostalgic games from my childhood and need more recognition. Will Snowboard Kids 3 become a real game someday soon? Man, I sure hope so. So I never heard of this channel before, OR The game "Snowboard Kids". This showed up in my recommended, and I'm gonna be super honest! I was hooked in immediately by the intro alone! The amount of effort put into this is just astonishing! Really put me in the mood to subscribe, get into Snowboard Kids, and actually draw Slash. Thank you for this!
First off I have to say the amount of care and effort I can see and feel from this project is astounding. From they way you all speak about this project it's very easy to tell, that this comes from a place of love and respect. I think the reinterpretations for the characters that this team has come up with are really solid and show a lot of care for the original while avoiding being completely chained down by the original. I think the lighting and shading is a bit plain at moment, I think it would be good for you all to play around with the lighting and the materials for the different objects and characters and see what helps your designs pop out more, especially considering that the original games weren't really able to do much in this department do to hardware limitations. Either way whatever direction this project goes I'll definitely be following along, hope to see more of this soon.

Snowboard Kids 3 would be an absolute dream come true. The 64 games are classics. -Tops MK64 as the best multiplayer experience on that console -Excellent powerups, fair mechanics, and 2 had the shot reversals -Outstanding retro music -A timeless and charming aesthetic with beautiful backdrops -Great singleplayer content -Tension and huge risk in every failure means you're fully engaged, 1 even has those character special tricks that are hard to land for extra swagger -Great unlockables -SOUL As a kid who rented the first two dozens of times before purchasing them, SBK DS was a huge slap in the face. That game is a disgrace.
I just stumbled upon this channel after seeing the Mother 3 trailer, and holy shit I’m obsessed. Some other general fan projects do a good job, but I have absolutely nothing negative to say about what you’re doing with a franchise I grew up with loving and that is such an impressive feat. It takes such care and an eye for detail to respectfully modernize something like this. I still need this to be real though!!

Ahhhh! Sami is doing such a good job as art director. Ive always been a big fan of her works, but hot dang. You guys nailed that 2D style in 3D. Can't wait to see more of one of my favorite N64 series coming to life.
This series is great for a lot of reasons, but I think the part that I really like is you all showing just how much thought and effort goes into the character design and overall art direction. I think a lot of people don't really understand how much work goes into the average game, so hopefully people can get some extra appreciation for art direction. I love SSX and 1080, but never got around to Snowboard Kids, but I'd play this in a heartbeat if it ever happened, you've done a fantastic job reimagining the look.

I went from a meme on reddit which linked me to the snowboard kids 2 ost, to the gamegrumps vs video on the game that I looked up, which then recommended me the first video on the project. And now I desperately want a playable snowboard kids 3 fan project. I really wish I had money I could donate to support you guys making 3D models of the characters.

I love this so much. I've been playing with ideas for a game heavily-inspired by Snowboard Kids, but alas, I am no artist, nor am I much of a programmer, so my ability is very limited. Seeing this gives me hope that one day, we could have a new generation of SBK that feels true to the originals. Can't wait to see how the rest of the characters turn out! I wonder, can we get a couple of board designs in the next one? The art on the boards always had a lot of charm, and could capture a player's personality, so I'd love to see some of that.

Awww man. I want this soooo bad. SBK 1&2 were literally my favorite multiplayer games on N64. Even above Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, TWINE, etc. There’s just something about them. The charm, music, the insanely brutal A.I.. We used to have serious battles trying to keep the joysticks.
