And yes, I can understand why the whole "Puberty hit them like a ton of bricks" scenario wouldn't fly today when it comes to Linda and Nicole.

This is very impressive! Seeing models like these made on Blender tickles me. Mr. Dog Jr. is a great example of character design, both for adding onto an existing cast and for establishing a mix of similarities and contrasts with another character. And seeing it in action is even more amazing! I can picture buildings being added to that snowfield, with various characters walking around. And the snow physics! You people are amazing.
Say, what if SBK3 featured a larger village that you help build up by earning coins in races? And what if the player could create their own customizable Snowboard Kid to play as in addition to the existing cast? Along with some newcomers?
Dear god, is this fuckin' real?! This was such a big part of my childhood!!! I'm so excited! The charm, the level design, the multiplayer madness! What a gem; especially the second one.

At 6:16 Mr. Penguin is the second adult in the game next to Mr. Dog, who teaches the children tricks. Thank you for displaying your project, I await to see a new episode if you have the time. I genuinely love this game, and continue to want a remaster from Atlus one day.
I thought I was the only one that wanted to direct and make Snowboard Kids 3 happen.

However, I strongly disagree with what their vision is for the concept on certain things in the sequel.
This is a little dream come true. I've been thinking about a sequel for several years now.
It looks just like I had imagined a modern take on it. I was wondering if the character designs would still work today, but you did a wonderful job in updating them while staying true to their original aesthetics.

this is honestly fantastic, and looks better than anything that came after the original series. you should feel very proud. this is a wonderful gift for fans of this charming game.
Didnt think anyone remembered this series. I only remember spending a single weekend with the original N64 game when I rented it from my old video store. Remember playing it with my sister for hours. Really brings me back.
Bomberman Hero and Snowboard Kids are such good games! I would love to see HD remakes of both of those. Thanks for the nostalgia trip. Also, this was an instant follow of Sami's twitter.

I know very little about this IP and have 0 attachment to it, but the great video presentation, beautiful/professional-looking artwork (you guys absolutely nailed that modern cartoony Nintendo look), and fascinating deep dive into the production process had me hooked from start to finish.

Isay this with all confidence; we are in need of a new Snowboard Kids game. One in tune with the first 2 games.
This game is crazy underrated... The possibilities for new features that could be added to this series if it made a comeback are endless. New modes, characters (even guest characters), costumes ect... Although this series isn’t very popular, you could definitely turn some heads if the sequel is done properly. I hope this game gets a proper sequel. Still own 1&2 and it’s still as fun as it was back then.
Ps. That board shop theme remix sounds great (can’t find it elsewhere though).

I fell in love with both games as a kid and have wanted another for so long, so however this project goes, it's amazing to see. Sami's art is incredible and an absolute treat for the eyes and heart, I love her interpretation of these characters and her sensible and cute alterations to them. Looking forward to seeing more of this project!!

Man if a Snowboard kids 3 really does happen I would pick it up or buy it as an instant buy! I've been getting back into the game at times to relive the old days and I forgot how much charm the game had when I was growing up and it was a great time to replay it again! Watching this was a lot of fun and had me feel pretty nostalgic as weird as that sounds but if this game does happen I would fully support this because this series is a special part of my childhood.

I’ve gotta admit, when I first saw this video in my subscription box I ignored it and scrolled past it because I thought it was some launch trailer for a game for the Switch from the official Nintendo channel. It wasn’t until I saw it again 10 hours later that I realized it was a fan made project, which just goes to show how high quality this is!
I absolutely adore the work you all do for Curiomatic. From Smashified to Bomberman Hero HD and now this! You've single-handedly inspired me to pick up 3D modeling myself and I've been learning a great deal from watching Omni's modeling streams. That subdivided cube trick has been working wonders for me! I love that you've been remaking low-fidelity characters from the N64 era and I wanted to do something similar, so I began making NES characters in Blender starting with Kunio from River City Ransom. I hope one day I can share some models with you!
Hah oh my gosh you guys did a great job adapting Sami's art to 3D. Ive been following Sami's art for awhile and I remember when she first posted the updated SBK designs and how happy they made me. I can't wait to see more of this. Snowboard kids is one of my favorite N64 games.

Everytime someone asks me what game I would love to see on the switch, like what game needs a sequel, I always say Snowboard Kids. I need Snowboard Kids 3, and it should feel like the first with some elements of the second game. That would be awesome. I play the first one at least once a year xD Back in 2010 up to 2013) I let's played 1 & 2 multiple times (one time SBK Plus as well), but 2015 I deleted most of my video to start completly new..

I think Mr. Dog Jr. should be both a helper for his dad and a racer. He could be friends with Slash and his friends and hang out with them when he's not helping his dad.
