- Bobby Angel talks about the story of St. Padre Pio, a powerhouse saint who went all in for Christ.
St. Padre Pio experienced temptation and evil at a very young age, having visions of angels, demons, and even Satan at the age of 4 or 5. He wanted to give his life to Christ and become a priest, and entered the monastery at age 15.
It was in 1918 that Padre Pio received the stigmata: a physical ailment that causes one to develop the 5 wounds of Christ crucified (two on the hands, two on the feet, and one on the side). He developed the side wound first, but tried to hide it in order to not call attention to himself. However, some of the other priests in the monastery noticed that he was bleeding, and it was confirmed that he had the stigmata-a condition of which only about 300 cases are known.
The press and controversy over his stigmata caused him to have to stop preaching and celebrating Mass, because the monastery didn’t want people fearing his wounds. This deeply troubled Padre Pio, and added to his pain. However, as rumors started to spread, people began to flock to the monastery to see Padre Pio for healing, confession, and preaching.
Padre Pio influenced many faithful Catholics, and his holiness was contagious to all he met. He was involved with a countless number of miracles, including the reading of souls, incredible healings, and accounts of bilocation.
Padre Pio shows us that if we turn our full attention to God, truly go all in for Christ, and accept our crosses with open arms, our love of Christ will become manifested in our lives in a way that can transform everyone we meet-and even those we don’t.

I introduced my mom to Padre Pio 3 years ago when they brought his relics to Saint Patrick's in NYC. She didn't know much about him and I saw a post on facebook saying his relics were coming to the church that month. She wanted to go because she was battling cancer. We went, and she was so glad she did. My mom passed away this past June but I attribute her lasting so long because of Padre Pio watching over her. Naturally, my mom enrolled herself in the Padre Pio foundation and was always recieving stuff from them in the mail and still does to this day. My mom was buried with a Padre Pio rosary I bought for her last year. This past July, something came in the mail from the foundation addressed to my mom. When I opened it, it was a Padre Pio Rosary. I felt like it was her trying to return the favor. I worry a lot about my mom's soul, she died in a state of grace but I feel it in my soul that she's not in Heaven yet and I pray, mostly the Rosary and Divine Mercy for her everyday. So today, the same day this video was uploaded, I got another letter from the foundation, addressed to my mom, but this time they send a medallion with a small poem on it as a reminder that we need to pray for our deceased loved ones. Mind you, they don't know my mom has passed away, hence the letter being addressed to her. I think he is following me too and my mom is urging me to accept the invitation....
I lost my mum too and i had the same worry. Somebody suggested me to make celebrate gregorian masses for her and i did. I think this could help.

What this man says about St. Padre Pio is completely true, members of my family and I have been blessed to have smelled the beautiful scent which came from a relic, a mitten/glove that St. Padre Pio had worn during his life, my brother and I was in very poor health early last year with cancer, we have now made a fantastic and recovery and feel great again going about our normal life and working, I fully believe that St. Padre Pio was the cause of our recovery. I have passed on information about St. Padre Pio other ill people and they all have received great comfort and many of those people have made recovery back to good health.
I love Saint Padre Pio. He is my favorite. Pray, Hope and Don't Worry. I find myself saying this when things are not going good. Pray for us Saint Padre Pio.

I didn't know about Padre Pio until he starting popping up everywhere when I was around 16. Since then I've grown to learn more about him. He's one of my saint friends now 😆 He's so cool!
I was watching the Ed and Lorain channel months ago. They talked about how he would help them during exorcisms and i took an interest in him. Not soon after right when Covid started i made some spiritual changes and came under heavy demonic attack. I called on him for help and even though i have not “seen” him i know he has been there helping me. So i wanna give a shout out to Padre Pio!...Praise Jesus!

You favor this great Saint especially when he was younger. Padre Pio always remained a rather distinguished looking man, definitely the kind of face that would stand out in a crowd.
The first two minutes of the video is exactly what happened to me! When I did my Confirmation I was told to choose a Patron Saint, and I had no idea who to pick. Then I heard of Padre Pio on "Unsolved Misteries" and was fascinated by his story. Then I saw his story somewhere else again, and I took it as a sign that he would be my Patron Saint. I feel like God chose Padre Pio for me, or that Padre Pio chose Me. I am grateful for your video Bobby, God bless you guys! 🙏💓

My father had a devotion to Padre Pio way before he was canonized and passed it along to me. Now as a dad myself, I’ve done likewise to my kids. Our family owes two very real medical miracles directly to his intercession. He has been a great gift from God. Padre Pio, Ora Pro Nobis!

I’m a healthcare worker, a patient of mine gave me a card that has a peice of bandage from padre pios hands to me today. I’m a catholic that went to catholic school growing up but somehow I never heard of this saint until today. I’ve been learning about him now and I’m glad that his story has entered my life and I will always remember him and seek to learn more about him.

I’d say my big devotion Saint is Padre Pio himself, but the saints that have the “stalking effect” on me are St Blaise and the 30 Protomartyrs of Brazil - I’m Brazilian, and from the Protomartyr’s state. I have loads of throat problems, so St. Blaise is always a given to ask for these problems to not interfere much in my obligations, and I also have a dog and I usually like the stories of the martyrs, so having a doctor, veterinary, bishop and martyr interceding for me in Heaven is quite reassuring hahaha. As for the Protomartyrs, we always ask for their intercession at the end of Mass in the Church I go. Their story simply breaths a gigantic love for Christ, and I have a great interest the story of the layman St Mateus Moreira, who died with a hole in his back exclaiming what can be translated as:”Glory be to the Most Holy Sacrament!”. The diocese from the town they were martyred also produced a chaplet in their memory, meditating words of the prophets and two episodes of the Gospels, and having St Mateus words in the place of the Hail Mary. I’ve been praying it recently.
(Obs.: By “big devotion Saint”, I’m actually still putting him below the Sacred Family. Mary is Mary, and St Joseph just has an “unfair advantage” hahaha).
So glad you mentioned about the saints that “stalk” you! Padre Pio came to me a few years ago... webpage suddenly showing his story when I was not even searching about him, his statue showing up in our house, etc. etc. I thought it was only my own imagination that I felt him following me around!

Just while my mother was giving birth to me, my father was being bluelighted for a fatal car accident. The cerebral hemorrhage was unstoppable.
Until it did.
Only a few days before the accident my parents met a Cappuccino friar that resembled P. Pio for some reason. So, I was named after him, too.
I live roughly a hour away from San Giovanni Rotondo where he’s currently exhumed and worshipped.

Slightly off topic, but I understand what you mean about saints choosing you. St. Augustine chose me and his feast day is on my birthday! I thought I chose him, but after more research and prayer, I realize the parallels in our lives. St. Monica (his mother) has even shown up constantly in my mothers life! I thank the Lord for St. Augustine's story and life, as he knew how important it was for his conversion

I chose saint Francis of Assisi. Not much was known about Padre Pio when I was a child. It was hushed investigation. .He is very dear to my heart. I had to argue with the nuns to be allowed to have Francis..I was told to choose from the list of female saints ( because I am female) I went to the monsignor.. and saint Francis is my patron.

We got here in Rio Grande do Norte a Father who is also in the way to sainthood - unfortunately, he was ultra shaved :(. His name is Padre João Maria Cavalcanti de Brito, he was born in RN and died in our capital, Natal.

I'm so annoyed with the fuzz on my face I hack it clean off as soon as I feel it. I read over half of Padre Pio The True Story but haven't finished it. The things that happened to him are so fantastic. The most amazing to me beside the demonic attacks he suffered is when he appeared before the bombers as they flew over Italy and the pilots were so stunned they would just fly by their targets.
Can't remember how we met but I know he accepted me as his spiritual child and feel his presence and assistance in many ways! We are so lucky to have such great examples to follow😍😍😍

My main stalker is st. Francis of Assisi. St. Joseph is starting to be one as well. I have my gang of them that I hang out with. It's so funny, I've been using that expression "saint stalker" for a while now but I've never heard anyone else use it.
