After my mother passed away, I began praying the rosary, because I was so deeply hurt and grieving her loss. I decided to turn that love towards praying to the Virgin Mary, asking her for her help. Mary does not hear your prayers, she does not help, cause we are only allowed to pray to God through Jesus. The bible says ONLY ONE NAME, Jesus. All else is blasphemic, idolatry. not one saint answers prayers, or even listen to them, not even angels. We are allowed to come boldly to the throne of God, in John 16 Jesus even says, "I will not ask for you, you can ask the Father directly and He will give you cause you love me". All other prayers are sinful, and the rosary is a repeating prayer, which the bible also says is NOT right.

Thank you padre for what you have done for my mother and all who have expierenced your pasteral care. The expierence of seeing the angels as the priest was celebrating Mass and i saw the priest face changed to a young priest as he held the host in his hands your face transformed to a young priest holding the Host saying with full consecration .saying This Is My Body . Angels flew all around the top alter and the tabernacle and coming up ile children in line wearing White i pray for an understading of this ..iwas watching a mass been offered and the Relics of Padre Pio were present in faith God will not leave us. Though i was feeling lost still the people we were been vacinated against the pandemic i feel it was calling me back and recieve confession communion to strengthen me .as i have had a tough life and still going through i still have to pray to believe offer it all up. . God is with me always .Hold on

The the bullet that hit John Paul II is in the crown of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal. In the story he says Our Lady of Lourdes, and refers to Saint Bernadette.
It is in the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. I believe it can be used as a pilgrim Madonna been carried pn on different occasions its resting place is Fatima. I wisited Fatima for once in a life time pilgrimage very blessed thank God.

Yes, maybe he became confused when he spoke of St. Bernadette of Lourdes. The bullet was placed in the crown 👑 of Our Lady of Fatima Portugal. In the 1980's.

Just wonderful. Hearing Brother DeGuire, I am reminded of Father Groeschel and Father Apostoli and how, especially Father Apostoli, relayed such wonderful stories of people and events. Brother DeGuire has that same calm and clear communication skill.
Love St. Padre Pio and this has given me yet another look inside his life, his heart and his profound faith.

@ Hans van…: if you feel that way why look at padre Pio video. You can look at Protestant videos where the Virgin Mary is hardly mentioned. You can look at these Catholic videos for enlightenment not for criticism. There are many Christian sects, choose the one you feel confident to look at.

How many lives were ruined by untrained men ? What training do you even get today ? Not even ruined - destroyed. That is not the representative of Christ. That's straight from hell.
I was abused by a priest for years. I go back to Church years later to try and talk about it thinking they will do the right thing - not in least angry or combative. It was far worse than the first time and again I almost ended up dead in hospital. I have long since forgiven the man/priest 'cause he was abused too - at least spiritually by an institution.
He would have sex with me. Then he'd make us go to confession. I was innocent asking- 'but you are a priest can you not do the confession ?' So we drove off - he would go to one priest and made very sure I went to another. He would expose that golden thing that holds the large round white thing and ask we not be tempted before he had sex with me. Gave me pills. A list goes on.
I was told by a half decent priest years later that 'they' - 'Church 'would rather see him dead floating down the river' than this get out. My elderly parents told this about one of their children by a priest. A 'good' one. Everyone I told believed me - lay and cleric. But no one helped me. The spark of faith in something kept me alive. I never stopped believing in Mary and wonder how She felt/feels at what Her 'sons' - PRE and POST Vat II - have done to the face of Jesus. I don't want the 'we are all sinners' spiel. I have heard and read it ALL. Why were mothers told their unborns would never see the face of God ? What kind of thing tells that to a mother who has lost a child ? 'Oh but it was never taught officially', claims Benedict. But enough ignoramouses with rosaries and/or bibles in one hand while the cock was in the other believed and taught it. Suicides and unborns or unbaptised living infants were buried in fields. 'Unconsecrated gound'. I had an aunt. Her eldest son was 'still born' - they called it then - full term and put in a shoe ioutsie the graveyeard - a box in the ground. She was on pyschiatric medication for the rest of her life. How may women do these 'celibate' men ruin. Women - even adult women - using them as concubines - even now and still that is not called out as sexual abuse, for one ? I could write books. I have been asked to many times. I still believe in God 'cause my parents and their parents passed it on. Isn't communion really a form of cannibalism ? Seriously. Think about it. If that turned to real human flesh and blood - you'd likely vomit. God is in EVERYTHING - EVERYWHERE - that's how Mary can be too - 'cause LOVE has NO bounds - so says Paul - and hell, darkness shall not prevail.
What is the Church ? An institution - rotten to its core ? Run by geriatics and a bunch of sexually frustrated and emiontially immature himbos - also being abused spiritually ?
It's not reconciliation. It's a Cycle of Spiritual Abuse.
Jesus didn't demand children to stay away. He said unless we become like them. Why so much dogma by men in white towers and sepulchres - and legal minds in past with THEORIES of Atonement based upon Crime and Punishment ?

The men at church can become evil but the man on the cross is full of love. Do not give up on him. Will pray for you and the victims who were abused by the church. Please pray for them too.
How does a Jewish king treat his mother? 1 Kings 2:19-20 tells us that Solomon ordered a throne set on his right side and told his mother, Bathsheba, that she may ask anything of him and he will grant it (if it is good for the kingdom). Jesus would do the same for His mother, Mary! We know that Simeon prophesied that her heart would be pierced and the thoughts of many would be revealed. Who does she reveal them to? Her Son! We see the first example of this at the marriage feast of Cana. She realized the couple needed more wine and got her Son to fix the situation. We know that Jesus promised us eternal life. So, the saints are alive in heaven and they wish to help us on our journey there. We see this at the Transfiguration where Moses & Elijah come to counsel Jesus about His up coming crucifixion. GBY

When you correct this error. There was a time I did not really like Padre Pio. I heard he was very harsh but my mother always had and still has great devtion to him. She would have had sixteen children had all lived. She still does - all live in Christ. I like him now. I saw a movie, forget name, where Italian actor plays him (Pio) and some higher up, a German actor comes to ask him to withdraw it all, even when he is dying, but this priest is given proof he had refused a young soldier admission when crying out for help and about to be shot. He was. It was a lovely film - scenic. But what I liked most about it was the humanity it showed in Padre Pio and all the slanders he endured, especially with a young woman who applies to be a teacher. Pio is against it. Turns out if the girl had gone to the college she'd have been raped by someone. There is a life long friendship and love betweem them, pure and human - Pio admitting to needing friends too. A younger brother of mine was dying at the time. I was looking after him. He was a fireman. He watched the movie. Big tough guy, not religious at all, but heart as big as the ocean. He cried during it. It brings tears to my eyes now remembering.

Great movie. But now too at times these days I wonder what Pio suffered did not come from God - but from the corruption and power mongers of the Church. Abuse. Why blame God/Jesus for everything when they do it and ruin the face of Jesus even more for future generations ? In that sense it is diabolical - but I don't think the 'devil' is always to blame. Just greedy, sick with power, corrupt men. Not even adult men.
Sometimes I talk to Pio when I do go in the chapel these days. Odd time. And outside too. He is alive more than ever. 'Once a priest, always a priest'. I trust him - so 'confess' in a way to him in this role. In eternity, throough the Cross there is no time. I find most other 'confession' an utter waste of time and get NOTHING from it. Not the fault of priest always - they too are abused in not being given real option for celibacy. Seven years is NOTHING. When people fall in love it is a beautiful thing - not something to be condemned. More women too. They'd soon cut the cahoonas off anyone abusing their children.

I have to agree with you about the Lord not allowing any of His children to experience the suffering Christ endured for our sake, Jesus paid the price we should have to pay, but due to the mercy, compassion and love our Father had for us He gave us his precious only begotten son. Jesus said right before his death, "It is finished".
What a lack of respect how the interviewer repeatedly addresses him as Pio as if they were friends or close for that matter.
FATHER PIO or PADRE PIO was and still is a mentor and his faith and passion throughout his life was amazing and inspiring. 26:03
