see, here's the point why the "Jordan Peterson" question hangs, ( making it clear that I could GAF about him ): He is a PhD in a subject from a country considered to have a relatively decent, fairly advanced, educational system . He is a professor at was is considered to be one of the better educational establishments in that country ( ? ) He is speaking on matters related to said subject ( i.e,. he's not a MSc in mechanical engineering lecturing on cuisine ). From a purely rational pov, how do you dismiss someone with those credentials as totally irrelevant and or pseudo-fraudulent- without calling into question the entire hierarchy of the western educational system...???? ( asking for a friend )

It reminds me of the slobbering FOX news press conference of Bezos' stunt yesterday that was inflicted on me. (I happened to be in a bar at the wrong time. YIN AND YANG--As much as I love listening to Chapo, their ripping on Peterson's explanation of the Chinese/Tao symbol shows either their ignorance, or that they just wanna rip on Peterson, regardless of what he says. Yin is the feminine principle = black = chaos = etc..; Yang is the masculine = white = order: Peterson did not make these up, ancient Chinese philosphers did. This makes Peterson a quaint Jungian, not necessarily a sexist/racist.
That is a Westernization of the Yin/Yang model, and also who is to say that a specific Chinese model is correct? As someone who has practiced both Buddhist and Taoist arts as an atheist I can say that I much prefer the Buddhist perspective and think that the Taoists are complete idiots. Not that the Buddhists are right, but personally I think that the taoists are even worse.
