Something I always found strange about Mangle is that they were never considered "Toy-Foxy" before being Mangle. To me that would make more sense than Funtime Foxy. Maybe Willie just liked that design and stole it idk
I like to think of it as a hint, both Mangle and Funtime Foxy are white with pink accents sporting yellow eyes and lipstick with ambiguous pronouns and had the same name once upon a time, surely these two must be connected in some way right? It's rare for an animatronic variant to be this unique, much less a later variant being a direct reference to that unique version, I feel it must be intentional in some way. This leads me to think, if the Circus Baby rentals location is supposed to be a "sister location" as the name of the game implies, is it a sister location to what? Probably a Fazbear's, but which one? I think it might be the FNAF2 restaurant, which would explain why Mangle and Funtime Foxy are so incredibly similar, sibling locations would share some designs at least. Although this hypothesis is kinda half-baked.
I've been thinking about how the Toy animatronics might have inspired the creation of the Funtime animatronics for a while, so it's cool seeing a youtuber talk a bit about that! Though I never considered everything about Mangle, so that's cool food for thought!
Molten MCI is probably canon, but my favorite take on the funtimes is Rental Service victums. This theory works with Spraptrap MCI and lets sister location's placement not be limited to after Follow Me.
Yeah, this makes sense. I never got why people assumed that the Funtimes needed to have the MCI Remnant specifically in them, when Afton already had murder robots to get new Remnant. Heck, there are 3 confirmed deaths at the bunker alone, so they are clearly capable of offing some kids

I honestly think he kind of just forgot about them. I think what's important for analyzing FNAF is to remember that Scott was kind of making stuff up as he kept going and I'd say this came in a few chunks. FNAF 1, FNAF 2-3, FNAF 4, FNAF SL-UCN (beyond that we're gonna ignore). So I really doubt Scott was thinking about soul splitting and stuff around FNAF 2. What my guess is knowing all that is the kids were just 5 more to possess the toys and when the toys were scrapped so too were those kids' storyline to focus more on the original MCI

The Mangle theory is amazing! It makes a lot of sense and it goes along with what I believe William was doing in FNAF 2, experimenting on the possessed animatronics and discovering remnant.
I have believed MoltenMCI, but the Burner all but confirmes it for me. William coming back for SpringBonnie also explains why he comes back. The game aspect is annoying but what else would that be.
I kinda hate the idea of MCI2, but Balloon Boy and mangle being FNAF 3 apparitions makes me think there had to be a second MCI. Now I think maybe the parts transfers theory gave Mangle and BB remnant, meaning there may be only 1 MCI. Then I considered “how can the funtimes be possessed by MCI1 if they’re haunting Springtrap in the backroom and follow him to FNAF 3?” Maybe the theory that the phantoms of MCI 1 haunt SpringTrap could combine with Molten MCI to create a “Molten MCI2 and Scraptrap MCI1” theory. Also, maybe the funtimes did MCI 2, not William?

Honestly I feel that's one of the strange remnants of either Dream theory or scott having to somehow connect BV to every Happiest day minigame including Mangle's quest even if it was a bit weird.
Idea 1: Golden Freddy disappears after SL because those two spirits are now inside of Micheal to keep him alive post scup. The logbook makes sense in universe this way. It could very well be the difference between the good and bad ending in FNaF 3, helping Altered Text put back together BV and helping BV forgive Micheal. Thus letting all the kids using BV's memories or being held back by his hurt to go free together. (I like this a lot, but it still has some pieces in the wrong places I feel and so I'm still workshoping it. I am really considering adding in Plushvictim because it plays really well and lets Goldie be haunted by only one kid while symbolizing 2 kids) Idea 2: The spirits of the DCI imprinted onto the toys and then onto William after they were 'scrapped'. (I have more crackpot ideas on this but they are all very TSE flavoured) The Phantoms in 3 and HW are the DCI, and they follow him around because they at the least are directly haunting him. (And at the most are in his veins, if you've read TSE) I don't know though. These games turn my brain into ballistic jell.
Taking the books aside, I’ve had a theory about the Mimic’s origins for a really long time. I don’t know if it’s true, but I’d at least like to hear other people talk about it. In FNAF 4, William Afton is presumed to be the one telling his son “I will put you back together”. Despite that, we never see him actually try it. At the same time, we have the mimic, a copycat killer that, when broken and given agony by its creator, followed in Afton’s footsteps specifically. We know that William Afton is obsessed with control, as well as bringing back his dead kids, as seen with Baby. Lastly, we can infer that the Mimic, and the AI that seems to stem from it, specifically focus on recreating the Aftons, as seen in the Post-it Room in the Pizzaplex sewers. What if William Afton built the Mimic? It would certainly be in character for him to do so, and the mimic being linked to William so much would make a lot more sense. William could have built the underground lab and M.X.E.S console that we see under the FNAF 6 location (which we’ve been theorizing could have previously been Fredbear’s Family Diner) at a time when FFD was still open, shortly after the crying child’s death. To that extent, the mimic lab would have been where William first experimented with subterranean locations, AI programming, and the scooper, all things he would later use for Circus Baby’s Pizza World. The scene between Edwin and the mimic, where the mimic is shown holding the Tiger plushie and causes Edwin to break the machine in anger, could have easily happened between William and the mimic too. I mean, the plushie could have been the Fredbear plush that the crying child was known to hold, and that William evident kept with him all the way up to the building of Circus Baby’s rentals. In turn, William breaking the mimic out of anger produces two monsters: one that began his destruction of life with a seemingly emotionless robot, and one that, after infused with those same murderous thoughts through agony, would lead a similar legacy long after the first monster’s death. Even after William was trapped in purgatory, the mimic promised that he would always come back, through a being that reflected his own violent nature. But wait, there’s more! I and a lot of other people have been suspecting that our newest protagonist Jeremy was one of the bullies involved in the Bite of 83, the same event that would lead to the mimic’s creation. Under this theory, our current protagonist and antagonist are connected by a common event, which could easily lead to stronger stories possibilities later down the line (assuming we see more Jeremy, it’s currently up in the air in that regard). But perhaps the most interesting detail is one that’s been staring us in the face all along. When Cassie first meets the mimic in its true form, she asks “who are you?”. The mimic simply repeats “I’m Gregory”. Sure, this line is to build up suspense and has an obvious role in the story. But perhaps there’s something more to that line. Gregory as a character has been presented as a mirror of the crying child, at least on a symbolic level as evident with the hillside images in the Princess Quest and Burntrap endings (I’m leaving the robot Gregory discussion out of this one). What if, through their shared connection to the crying child, Gregory and the mimic had a lot more in common than we thought. What if the mimic really meant it when it said “I’m Gregory”? Please, if anybody sees this, feel free to respond to this post. I really just want more people to think about this, because I have the feeling it might change where we see FNAF’s story heading in the future. If nobody sees it here, I’ll try to post in other videos, though I hope I’m not being annoying to anybody.
To clarify, are you assuming that the Toys are just haunted by the MCI kids? If so then what would William have been using the suit for in FNaF 2, like phone guy mentions. "Someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back, a yellow one. Someone used it. Now none of them are acting right."

Is it possible they are both using the names of the kids that match the mask they wore in FNAF 4 as guards in FNAF 2? Matching the graves from Pizzeria Simulator to the animatronic heads in FNAF 3. Yall, I just turned 20. For my birthday, I decided to get fnaf 4, making it the 5th fnaf game I’ve played. I also just beat night 5, and I intend to go all the way. (Also I beat plushtrap every time.)
While watching this video I had a thought that maybe, just maybe... that MoltenMCI involved only four animatronics... just the four originals. Ok, hear me out. If I remember correctly, MoltenMCI's most popular interpretation of "5 becoming 1" was popularized by MatPat, right? He made the connection that Candy Cadet's stories are all about 5 things kinda becoming 1. So he said that this maybe about the 5 original from FNaF1's MCI becoming 1 in a melting experiment by William; hence MoltenMCI... But recently, the idea that those Candy Cadet stories having secondary meanings was popularized by ID's Fantasy. And it's not such a weird thing to assume that the franchise that literally has a Five in it's title might have a lot of stories involving 5 things... Perhaps that's what Candy Cadet actually was all about... he wasn't telling us the same thing in different ways, he was telling us diffrent things related to the same thing... the number 5. Not to mention that every appearence of Candet Cadet has always had something to do with the game he was in; helping a monster escape in Ruin, falling into the clucthes of Glitchtrap in HW2... and bringing 5 things together into the same place in Pizzeria Simulator...? After all, if Candy Cadet's stories all have different interpretations, wouldn't that kinda mean that the first one that MatPat came up with becomes redundant? So maybe it was simply a misconception that Candy Cadet's stories were EVER about MoltenMCI to begin with. Thus, this would explain all the imagery of only 4 being involved in the MoltenMCI. The 4 animatronics in the smelter in HW1, and only 4 being visualized merging in the Fourth Closet graphic novel. In conclusion; maybe It was always four, and Golden Freddy wasn't involved in MoltenMCI... and Candy Cadet wasn't talking about MoltenMCI... (wait a minute, so I guess the theory can't be called MoltenMCI anymore since Golden Freddy is from the MCI... :P ) I guess that's my mini-theory on MoltenMCI. I did a video on this kinda topic that lead to the actually fairly popular theory right now MoltenMCI Alter-S which as you went over, states that the classic 4 are in the funtimes and golden freddy isn't- instead following William around "no matter how many times they burn us" and all.
the 5 things being combined into 1 never fit anyway, because the MCI kids didn't just combine into molten freddy immediately. they combined into ennard. and one of the souls in ennard is elizabeth. so to me it makes sense that the 5 becoming one was referring to the 4 MCI kids minus golden freddy, and elizabeth, combining into ennard. later the MCI kids eject elizabeth likely for being mean and bossy, and for liking william, and what is left is the 4 MCI souls in molten freddy

None of this is really anything super new info or concept wise- it’s just acknowledging it all exists in one world.
I believe what you stated mangle is a heavy reference point of Funtime foxy in sister location. Also the more the video progress the more you seem to get more confused and frustrated.
That is arguably a problem, but also- why are they there in the first place? It also could be that the MCI kids have been spirits so much longer and the lack of color represents that. Or Scott stuck those goobers in and made a reason later.

I just always imagined the colour was representative of already having moved on. They already have masks, too. The MCI had a second step in giving cake to one more forgotten friend before they could all move on.

@@siresquawks it's possible that they're hallucinations being induced by agony, because of william and all of the costumes and items from freddy's being present in the building (along with the faulty ventilation)

Honestly I feel that's one of the strange remnants of either Dream theory or scott having to somehow connect BV to every Happiest day minigame including Mangle's quest even if it was a bit weird.

Idea 1:
Golden Freddy disappears after SL because those two spirits are now inside of Micheal to keep him alive post scup.
The logbook makes sense in universe this way.
It could very well be the difference between the good and bad ending in FNaF 3, helping Altered Text put back together BV and helping BV forgive Micheal.
Thus letting all the kids using BV's memories or being held back by his hurt to go free together.
(I like this a lot, but it still has some pieces in the wrong places I feel and so I'm still workshoping it. I am really considering adding in Plushvictim because it plays really well and lets Goldie be haunted by only one kid while symbolizing 2 kids)
Idea 2: The spirits of the DCI imprinted onto the toys and then onto William after they were 'scrapped'. (I have more crackpot ideas on this but they are all very TSE flavoured)
The Phantoms in 3 and HW are the DCI, and they follow him around because they at the least are directly haunting him. (And at the most are in his veins, if you've read TSE)
I don't know though. These games turn my brain into ballistic jell.
The idea that Micheal survived because his little brother was helping keep him alive might also explain Golden Freddy seemingly following him around.
Taking the books aside, I’ve had a theory about the Mimic’s origins for a really long time. I don’t know if it’s true, but I’d at least like to hear other people talk about it.
In FNAF 4, William Afton is presumed to be the one telling his son “I will put you back together”. Despite that, we never see him actually try it. At the same time, we have the mimic, a copycat killer that, when broken and given agony by its creator, followed in Afton’s footsteps specifically. We know that William Afton is obsessed with control, as well as bringing back his dead kids, as seen with Baby. Lastly, we can infer that the Mimic, and the AI that seems to stem from it, specifically focus on recreating the Aftons, as seen in the Post-it Room in the Pizzaplex sewers.
What if William Afton built the Mimic? It would certainly be in character for him to do so, and the mimic being linked to William so much would make a lot more sense. William could have built the underground lab and M.X.E.S console that we see under the FNAF 6 location (which we’ve been theorizing could have previously been Fredbear’s Family Diner) at a time when FFD was still open, shortly after the crying child’s death. To that extent, the mimic lab would have been where William first experimented with subterranean locations, AI programming, and the scooper, all things he would later use for Circus Baby’s Pizza World.
The scene between Edwin and the mimic, where the mimic is shown holding the Tiger plushie and causes Edwin to break the machine in anger, could have easily happened between William and the mimic too. I mean, the plushie could have been the Fredbear plush that the crying child was known to hold, and that William evident kept with him all the way up to the building of Circus Baby’s rentals. In turn, William breaking the mimic out of anger produces two monsters: one that began his destruction of life with a seemingly emotionless robot, and one that, after infused with those same murderous thoughts through agony, would lead a similar legacy long after the first monster’s death. Even after William was trapped in purgatory, the mimic promised that he would always come back, through a being that reflected his own violent nature.
But wait, there’s more! I and a lot of other people have been suspecting that our newest protagonist Jeremy was one of the bullies involved in the Bite of 83, the same event that would lead to the mimic’s creation. Under this theory, our current protagonist and antagonist are connected by a common event, which could easily lead to stronger stories possibilities later down the line (assuming we see more Jeremy, it’s currently up in the air in that regard). But perhaps the most interesting detail is one that’s been staring us in the face all along. When Cassie first meets the mimic in its true form, she asks “who are you?”. The mimic simply repeats “I’m Gregory”. Sure, this line is to build up suspense and has an obvious role in the story. But perhaps there’s something more to that line. Gregory as a character has been presented as a mirror of the crying child, at least on a symbolic level as evident with the hillside images in the Princess Quest and Burntrap endings (I’m leaving the robot Gregory discussion out of this one). What if, through their shared connection to the crying child, Gregory and the mimic had a lot more in common than we thought. What if the mimic really meant it when it said “I’m Gregory”?
Please, if anybody sees this, feel free to respond to this post. I really just want more people to think about this, because I have the feeling it might change where we see FNAF’s story heading in the future. If nobody sees it here, I’ll try to post in other videos, though I hope I’m not being annoying to anybody.
To clarify, are you assuming that the Toys are just haunted by the MCI kids? If so then what would William have been using the suit for in FNaF 2, like phone guy mentions. "Someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back, a yellow one. Someone used it. Now none of them are acting right."

Yeah, if the toys are haunted by the DCI I think there was already something going on with the classics. No reason to have “something borrowed” and the old part plot line if that wasn’t the implication IMO.

btw assuming molten mci is true what exactly does the timeline look like with the funtimes? like when were they made, when did afton get springlocked, and how long was it in between those events. ive always kinda assumed that follow me happens over the course of like a week or even a day but idk if that really works with molten mci. like assuming follow me isnt just a really loose interpretation of what happened why did he go back to the building after making the funtimes? was this a while after the first 4 parts of follow me? did he want golden freddy for something? was there a secret fifth funtime we dont know about?? is that what the ennard mask was actually supposed to be for??? :O not really related to the video just something ive always wanted to understand
@@quillllly IMO opinion it's follow me 1-4, SL alongside Follow Me 5 in some capacity, then after William's "dead" and Mike's scooped some time later Mike gets control of his body again and starts looking for William.

Well if Jeremy is Bonnie Bro, and Fritz is Mike... Is it possible they are both using the names of the kids that match the mask they wore in FNAF 4 as guards in FNAF 2? Matching the graves from Pizzeria Simulator to the animatronic heads in FNAF 3. Bonnie would be matched to Jeremy and Foxy would be matched to Fritz.

While watching this video I had a thought that maybe, just maybe... that MoltenMCI involved only four animatronics... just the four originals.
Ok, hear me out. If I remember correctly, MoltenMCI's most popular interpretation of "5 becoming 1" was popularized by MatPat, right? He made the connection that Candy Cadet's stories are all about 5 things kinda becoming 1. So he said that this maybe about the 5 original from FNaF1's MCI becoming 1 in a melting experiment by William; hence MoltenMCI...
But recently, the idea that those Candy Cadet stories having secondary meanings was popularized by ID's Fantasy. And it's not such a weird thing to assume that the franchise that literally has a Five in it's title might have a lot of stories involving 5 things...
Perhaps that's what Candy Cadet actually was all about... he wasn't telling us the same thing in different ways, he was telling us diffrent things related to the same thing... the number 5.
Not to mention that every appearence of Candet Cadet has always had something to do with the game he was in; helping a monster escape in Ruin, falling into the clucthes of Glitchtrap in HW2... and bringing 5 things together into the same place in Pizzeria Simulator...?
After all, if Candy Cadet's stories all have different interpretations, wouldn't that kinda mean that the first one that MatPat came up with becomes redundant?
So maybe it was simply a misconception that Candy Cadet's stories were EVER about MoltenMCI to begin with.
Thus, this would explain all the imagery of only 4 being involved in the MoltenMCI. The 4 animatronics in the smelter in HW1, and only 4 being visualized merging in the Fourth Closet graphic novel.
In conclusion; maybe It was always four, and Golden Freddy wasn't involved in MoltenMCI... and Candy Cadet wasn't talking about MoltenMCI...
(wait a minute, so I guess the theory can't be called MoltenMCI anymore since Golden Freddy is from the MCI... :P )
I guess that's my mini-theory on MoltenMCI.

I did a video on this kinda topic that lead to the actually fairly popular theory right now MoltenMCI Alter-S which as you went over, states that the classic 4 are in the funtimes and golden freddy isn't- instead following William around "no matter how many times they burn us" and all.
the 5 things being combined into 1 never fit anyway, because the MCI kids didn't just combine into molten freddy immediately. they combined into ennard. and one of the souls in ennard is elizabeth. so to me it makes sense that the 5 becoming one was referring to the 4 MCI kids minus golden freddy, and elizabeth, combining into ennard. later the MCI kids eject elizabeth likely for being mean and bossy, and for liking william, and what is left is the 4 MCI souls in molten freddy

I have heard so many MoltenMCI theories at this point and my conclusion is: Can we please just like... respectfully forget most MoltenMCI variations or smth? Funtimes have murder systems, he’s had a story written about them being injected with the old casts souls, he made a game that implies new characters are haunted by reused parts of the old ones. None of this is really anything super new info or concept wise- it’s just acknowledging it all exists in one world.
I believe what you stated mangle is a heavy reference point of Funtime foxy in sister location. Also the more the video progress the more you seem to get more confused and frustrated.

That is arguably a problem, but also- why are they there in the first place? It also could be that the MCI kids have been spirits so much longer and the lack of color represents that. Or Scott stuck those goobers in and made a reason later.

They seem like a company that makes animatronics, not one that resells them. It's totally possible Fazbear Entertainment is the parent company of Smiles and Servos.
