Taking the books aside, I’ve had a theory about the Mimic’s origins for a really long time. I don’t know if it’s true, but I’d at least like to hear other people talk about it. In FNAF 4, William Afton is presumed to be the one telling his son “I will put you back together”. Despite that, we never see him actually try it. At the same time, we have the mimic, a copycat killer that, when broken and given agony by its creator, followed in Afton’s footsteps specifically. We know that William Afton is obsessed with control, as well as bringing back his dead kids, as seen with Baby. Lastly, we can infer that the Mimic, and the AI that seems to stem from it, specifically focus on recreating the Aftons, as seen in the Post-it Room in the Pizzaplex sewers. What if William Afton built the Mimic? It would certainly be in character for him to do so, and the mimic being linked to William so much would make a lot more sense. William could have built the underground lab and M.X.E.S console that we see under the FNAF 6 location (which we’ve been theorizing could have previously been Fredbear’s Family Diner) at a time when FFD was still open, shortly after the crying child’s death. To that extent, the mimic lab would have been where William first experimented with subterranean locations, AI programming, and the scooper, all things he would later use for Circus Baby’s Pizza World. The scene between Edwin and the mimic, where the mimic is shown holding the Tiger plushie and causes Edwin to break the machine in anger, could have easily happened between William and the mimic too. I mean, the plushie could have been the Fredbear plush that the crying child was known to hold, and that William evident kept with him all the way up to the building of Circus Baby’s rentals. In turn, William breaking the mimic out of anger produces two monsters: one that began his destruction of life with a seemingly emotionless robot, and one that, after infused with those same murderous thoughts through agony, would lead a similar legacy long after the first monster’s death. Even after William was trapped in purgatory, the mimic promised that he would always come back, through a being that reflected his own violent nature. But wait, there’s more! I and a lot of other people have been suspecting that our newest protagonist Jeremy was one of the bullies involved in the Bite of 83, the same event that would lead to the mimic’s creation. Under this theory, our current protagonist and antagonist are connected by a common event, which could easily lead to stronger stories possibilities later down the line (assuming we see more Jeremy, it’s currently up in the air in that regard). But perhaps the most interesting detail is one that’s been staring us in the face all along. When Cassie first meets the mimic in its true form, she asks “who are you?”. The mimic simply repeats “I’m Gregory”. Sure, this line is to build up suspense and has an obvious role in the story. But perhaps there’s something more to that line. Gregory as a character has been presented as a mirror of the crying child, at least on a symbolic level as evident with the hillside images in the Princess Quest and Burntrap endings (I’m leaving the robot Gregory discussion out of this one). What if, through their shared connection to the crying child, Gregory and the mimic had a lot more in common than we thought. What if the mimic really meant it when it said “I’m Gregory”? Please, if anybody sees this, feel free to respond to this post. I really just want more people to think about this, because I have the feeling it might change where we see FNAF’s story heading in the future.
Except William never built the Mimic? We literally get a full on explanation for the Mimic, that he’s a caretaker for Murray and when the child dies in an accident with a car, Murray beats the ever loving-fuck out of the Mimic. There is no parallel, there is no side by side comparison. William never built the Mimic for his son because he never cared for any of his children.
@@2bboe98 Murray’s story only happens in the books, we don’t have any confirmation of his existence in the games as of now. And yes, I don’t think William was a good father to his kids, but I do think he felt overly protective of his kids as his “property”. He tells Micheal to put his sister back together because he knows he can control Elizabeth, and that bringing her back will reignite some extent of the control he craves. William is a narcissist, and if has a family who listens to him then that narcissism can be fed. I could easily see a similar situation happening with the Crying child, or at least the replica of him.
@Sonicmid There’s a lot of odd details regarding the Mimic that don’t perfectly add up with Edwin’s story. Specifically the room where the Mimic was kept. Why would Edwin be building a complex for the mimic under Fredbear’s? In the books the Mimic is built in a Factory. Moreover, why would there be a Scooper in the location? The details just don’t add up perfectly between the books and the games. And yes, the Mimic has to have been built in that location. The M.X.E.S console, something which directly influences the Mimic’s programming, is dusty and built in an 80’s retro style. It had to have been there for a long time, even if the Security nodes were programmed around the Pizzaplex afterwards. And by that logic, the Mimic had to have been there too.
The fnaf4 minigame is a retelling, not the events as and when they happened. Cassidy being the plush makes more sense than anyone else going by their lines, because it's not the original, physical object we see in fnaf4. CC never responds to her in the minigame, which explains why they're communicating through the logbook, and that she chooses a familiar form in the plush to try to get through to him. Note that this theory doesn't *have* to be combined with willplush or used as an explanation for the toys and mangle, either.
CC had his head crushed by Fredbear, it's full of his blood and tissue and it's the source of his trauma. If he's haunting anything, it would be Fredbear. There's also the use of "it's me" changed text as early in the games as fnaf1, both if which are now associated with CC and GF. Possession and remmant are connected, but we're shown that they're different. Things can be animated by remnant, but the souls of the children are in the amimatronics. The memory imprinting is more of a novel thing with Charlie, who's a recreation rather than a spirit.
I think the simplest (Or not that simplest, but the most satisfying) solution for your "Where's CC in all of this?" dilemma; is ShatterVictim. The theory mostly varies on how each person understands it, but, in my interpretation, CC's spirit is in many animatronics. When CC was bullied and tormented by Michael and the Fredbear Plush, his agony infected many objects. When he dies, as represented by the Plushies disappearing, pieces of himself went to inhabit the animatronics; his friends. So, if his pieces are parts of his soul, that are now inhabiting the animatronics, then parts of him would be possessing all the animatronics. One of them being Golden Freddy. So it would be Golden1.5, because there's a piece of BV possessing GF. He is in a void because his spirit is so broken that not only his memories begin to split, but also his senses and awareness. So that'd be my explaination. I've heard people call it... ShatterDuo (?).
ShatterVicitm has fallen apart to me by almost every metric. It doesn't satisfy the narrative, the logic behind it, or even just loose implication or even book based lore. To me it wasn't even worth putting in the video.
I feel like the evidence for ShatterVictim makes perfect sense and is hard to argue with, but everything else about it is just so complicated and poorly explained. First, why does he shatter? The precedent is set by Andrew, but he only shatters when Afton exploded, CC allegedly just does it when he dies for some reason. Second, if you think GoldenDuo has problems due to him dying in a hospital, then ShatterVictim is so much worse in that regard. Finally, it's just so goddamn confusing, even by FNAF standards.
@@randomrhino4371 He shatters because bullying and abuse are not something easy to deal with, specially when you're not older than 10. His spirit broke by all the abuse he was handling. And i don't think it has "so many" issues as GoldenDuo. Because that agony, a shard of his soul, was already in GF (And the other animatronics) before he died, so he possessed him after dying. I'ts fair to say it's confusing. It's not to me. But i understand why it is for other people. But didn't you said you were using FrightsClues? Why should it be the same as Andrew is we are just using it as a clue?
@@siresquawks The narrative of ShatterVictim is actually what made me believe it. And it does have book evidence, it's basically what The Silver Eyes it's all about. It would explain why the FNAF 4 minigames forshadow basically everything in the franchise, why is there so much emphasis on "putting him back together". Why would he need to be put bak together if his spirit was not split apart in the first place? It would explain why he's so intrinsically connected to the MCI spirits in the HD minigames. It just explains so much while creating a (Only imo) satisfying narrative that's so present around all the games.
9:51 Why would she randomly pull him out and then put him back in again?? What point is that, also what point dose charlie have in the narrative if cassidy did everything, why didn’t she just free him herself or just free everyone?? Is she stupid?
I'm not saying Cassidy pulls him in and out constantly- more that this was a one off thing mostly for learning his past- the time loop framing was more a way to explain the concept. Charlie is still relevant- especially under vengeful cassidy this is more just enabling an event rather than being in it first hand- like telling someone how to set up a party and giving them money to do so.
I have a little theory to share, you know the toy chica's high school years theory with the fox hook representing the vengeful being a secret 7th victim, well following that same logic then the vengeful spirit is also the first victim
2 minds in a single animatronic is already a thing in the games, no? Elizabeth/Charliebot in Baby? Baby's behaviour in FNAF SL vs her behaviour in FNAF6?
I guess I could say I used "FrightsClues" since I compared the death of Pete with the Crying Child's coma. They both go through the same kind of state basically. They're able to hear things from the outside, able to see things outside with only a small bit of light coming from outside into the void that the person is in. People think too much of the Fredbear plush. Michael literally talks to the Crying Child while the plushies are there, does that mean he's one of them? Clearly not. People don't believe he's speaking in form of one of the plushies. I believe what the Crying Child hears at Fredbear's is a delusion since the Fredbear plush is not there and it's because the continuous taunting and stalking by his "loving" father just drove him insane so he thought he heard the plush speak to him, yet it's clearly not the case. I personally believe both WillPlush and WillFinalSpeaker with WillPlush = recordings we see William use on Rory, WillFinalSpeaker = real William talking to him which is the reason why the yellow is just slightly differently shaded, because they're the same speaker, just in different form. Like for crying out loud, no pun intended, "Toy Chica: The High School Years" in UCN is paralleled to William and his victims, and at the end of that anime Toy Chica says: "But tomorrow is another day!". On the topic of the Crying Child possessing Golden Freddy? I'm confused on how it works too. It feels fitting yet whatever happened, under the theory, had to have happened off-screen.
Glitch fredbear is Elizabeth it's revealed obviously when desk man die She manipulated Cassidy in FNAF world to send clue in FNAF3 follow me mini game for Mike And that happiest day isnt happy at all, it's piece put together to revive WIlliam Afton He trapped in fakewall, he can just left that place if he want to, but he just springtrap animatronic not William yet After FNAF3 and come back with full picture he escape and become the british William Afton we know in FNAF6 Molten stuff can be happen after FNAF3 I dont care
@Sonicmid idk where this "Elizabeth never acknowledges her other brother" come from. But from the sister room at fnaf 4 scene, pretty sure she know about him and his death. FNAF 4 crying child scene obviously happen in the past, but the last scene with light yellow text can be happen anytime depends on who do you think it is. Like someone dream about the memory of past and then the last part the conclusion of it. If this happen just after bite, there's no reason for William already kill anyone before this bite 83 and William also dont have info about soul possession yet at this point. He know it after killing charlotte with crying child death as reason or after killing MCI atleast. There's also no reason for any dead childern to say something like that to crying child before his death. But if this "I will put you back together" happen at FNAF 4 dream, then it can be anyone that already dead but have reason to save him (William(family), Charllotte(nature), Cassidy(friend), or Elizabeth(family)). William stuck in fake wall at this point. Cassidy not even in happiest day at the end fnaf 3 and asking "Is he(fredplush) still talking to you?" means it's not her. At the end, it's Charlotte(3yo kid) fredplush which is weird, or Elizabeth fredplush with her manipulating and pretending skill. You can also look all the text glitch fredbear say in th-cam.com/video/f1J7qkaUWW0/w-d-xo.html and think for a moment who will speak like that to fnaf world player.
Shadow Freddy is born of William’s wickedness Nightmare (who is shadow Freddy like it’s literally in the files and has stayed there) He is agony He is not physical He cannot be possessed Golden Freddy is an actual suit He’s not
I mean he could probably just for me 1) why isn't rwq possessed 2) why Freddy and not fredbear 3) i think shadow Freddy stand is compelling 4) it's just kind of lame he does nothing in the story 5) if you are to believe nightmare is shadow Freddy why is the bite victim one of the enemies in Michael's dream 6) where does he end up is he freed in fnaf3 because that feels weird, admittedly golden!bv doesn't resolve this either 7) shadow Freddy isn't really shown to be scared?
@@vanyadollythe real jake shows jake dying in a hospital and posses his doll "simon", i think cc is in fredbear plush
@@siresquawksI guess you could say it shattered
I think Mike had a hand in happiest day

Why would she randomly pull him out and then put him back in again??
IM NOT SUBSCRIBED???? IVE BEEN WATCHING FOR A WHILE NOW HOW WAS I NOT SUBSCRIBED???
Ok your theory on clues makes more sense now that you explained it

But somehow cassies dad becoming a staff bot that didnt tear him apart and was not stuffed into is apparently fine
I don't quite get the problem here? Or what you're really observing even.
Spooky Eyes is old man consequences telling her to rest warning her that trapping Williams soul will only set him free again

What about ShatterVictim?
Not a fan of it nowadays- once you actually look at how shattering works it becomes a really jank narrative.
Glitch fredbear is Elizabeth
it's revealed obviously when desk man die
She manipulated Cassidy in FNAF world to send clue in FNAF3 follow me mini game for Mike
And that happiest day isnt happy at all, it's piece put together to revive WIlliam Afton
He trapped in fakewall, he can just left that place if he want to, but he just springtrap animatronic not William yet
After FNAF3 and come back with full picture he escape and become the british William Afton we know in FNAF6
Molten stuff can be happen after FNAF3 I dont care
Why white yellow eyes? because its Scrap baby eyes after Sister location

I think CC possesses shadow Freddy and no one has ever told me why he can’t do it🤷
Shadow Freddy is born of William’s wickedness
Nightmare (who is shadow Freddy like it’s literally in the files and has stayed there)
He is agony
He is not physical
He cannot be possessed
Golden Freddy is an actual suit
He’s not
I mean he could probably just for me
1) why isn't rwq possessed
2) why Freddy and not fredbear
3) i think shadow Freddy stand is compelling
4) it's just kind of lame he does nothing in the story
5) if you are to believe nightmare is shadow Freddy why is the bite victim one of the enemies in Michael's dream
6) where does he end up is he freed in fnaf3 because that feels weird, admittedly golden!bv doesn't resolve this either
7) shadow Freddy isn't really shown to be scared?
Interesting idea though
@@sneeb271 Why is nightmare being shadow Freddy treated like theory
It’s literally in the files
He is literally said to be SF
