I made this cake for my sister’s 19nth birthday, and it was so delicious! Instead of raspberry filling in the center, I made a lemon custard filling. The entire cake took about 4 hours to make, but it was so worth it!
Hi love, I made this cake for Halloween, and made sugar glass to put on top with raspberry blood. This is the most delicious cake I’ve ever eaten. It was so moist and almost velvet like. Absolutely phenomenal! Thank you ❤
I just made this a few weeks ago for my grandma's birthday, but substituted strawberry for raspberry. It was a hit! Glad to see her cake also came out pretty dense, I was worried I messed mine up... 😅

Yes definitely plain yogurt is a great substitute for sour cream ;)

Agree! I just popped it in the oven, used the recipe from the site and came here to watch and it’s totally different instructions! But we shall see how it comes out! It looked and tasted good once it was all mixed I might say 😊

Hi. Why don’t most bakers use simple syrup while assembling the cakes? I find the cake dry without it!
Some cakes are already moist when using sourcream. Some don't use it as well because it's additional sugar added. But definitely some cakes need that extra touch because it be looking dry
What if i bake all the batter in one mold?
Are your cake layers 2 inches?
Did any make the cake and after 25 mins it was jiggly still ?
