I want to agree, but there's just not much more to say about them. All the good classic headphones have already been released, and the ones that were good 20 years ago (like Sennheiser HD600) still remain good today, so they've already been covered. And since I listen to music while gaming, these headphones have SOOOO MUCH BASS, and they are so freaking loud. It's worrying to me how I keep searching for Logitech for my next pair and not one pair of them featured in your list. Good test, good video... work on the rapping dude ;)
Nearly all headsets looks like they will break after 1 or 2 years. Because they are complete made of plastic. My last Logitech and Roccat headsets (~100€) died this death. There should be a category for durability. I know it is not possible or just for last gen headsets. But thank you for this review!
I used a razer kraken pro for 9 years and it despite the headband cloth and and the pads tearing up (I replaced the pads with aliexpress ones, 5 bucks), they still work fine. No issues in the build. Just not asthetically pleasing anymore haha. And they sound horrible xD
Debating on getting the arctis nova. My arctis pro wireless just broke last night taking it off my head, and I don't know why cause it's the same way I always did. But I noticed that the left turn nozzle basically, to wrap it around your neck or place face down, moves on its own for some reason while the right one stays still. That could be the reason it broke, basically just that it got twisted.
Some company really needs to make a gaming pair of headphones, that's right headphones, not headset. All black design with maybe a white option too, planar magnetic drivers, super comfortable, wireless, no RGB, plain sleek design, foldable and wearable around neck. Closed back. Apparently this is too much to ask, the HyperX Cloud Orbit S comes close but ultimately falls short with horrible comfort, no wireless capability, terrible QC and terrible quality in general, overpriced, and more
Hard agree the Cloud Orbits were amazing but the terrible plastic build basically assured your headset breaks physically within 1-2 years from purchase, and they cost like $250-$300. But having tested many, many headsets myself, from Astros to Logitechs to the HyperX Cloud Orbit and Sennheissers. Those Orbit S were so next level with proper tuning. Now Im rocking the Logitech G Pro Wireless and its been very good for the price after tuning. For my headsets I always try to make them as immersive sounding, so usually wide soundstage and using simulated surround sound, so my rankings are based off of that. Hyper X Cloud Revolver was best budget sound quality. Logitechs 935s were the best bang for the buck, Logitech G Pro X Wireless was the best mid range, and Hyper X Orbit S was best high end.
@@WailOfDoom Nothing about them was amazing other than the 100mm drivers at their core. That is the amazing part and what I meant. While your review makes somewhat sense what doesn't is why you are still using gaming headsets? I am now going to the Beyerdynamics 700 Pro X's and they are $250 and way better audio quality and build quality than anything you get with gaming headsets, never going back to those ever again. Hi. Sorry for my english... I have the old Arctis Pro Wireless, and tested the Inzone H9. I like the H9 much more, its much more comfortable for my big head and big ears, but the more important reason why i like it more is, i can better hear the enemies wirh the H9. U like the Nova Pro more than the H9, but if the Nova are a 10, what are the H9 for u? The H9 cost 220€, the Nova 330€ (i know, its very cool with 2 batteries on the Nova, but the sound in more important for me)
I’ve tried and tested many headsets over the last couple of years and I’ve been around audio all my life and understand very well what good sound is After lots of testing surprisingly I found the Astro A20 Gen 2 to be such a perfect headset and extremely well tuned. However, after a year of use it developed a defect, so I went back to the drawing board Previously I used the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless and that was simply the best of the best. However, I went through 3 pairs as all of them had drivers popping or disconnecting and that’s why I started to use the Astro A20 Gen 2 I then extensively tested the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and the Nova 7 Wireless. The Nova Pro compared to the old Pro Wireless to my hearing whilst a bit better in overall sound quality, it really wasn’t night and day difference and the old one gets louder. It seems like majority of high end headsets now are being slapped on a high price for having lots of features rather than being concentrated to be developed to have noticeable better sound compared to their previous versions. It was also really uncomfortable for me with the little ANC mics on the drivers digging into my ears. So at the end I couldn’t justify that £350 price The Nova 7 is a different story. They have the same drivers as the Nova Pro, out of the box have a better tuned frequency overall. The bass and mids accuracy is great and the highs are almost identical. Imaging is very similar too. Nova 7 is definitely as good as the £350 Nova Pro but for almost half the price at £180. I simply replaced the fabric ear ear pads with the SteelSeries soft leatherette ear pads, slightly tuned and increased the highs in the SteelSeries Engine and it now sounds amazing For me the SteelSeries Nova 7 is the best headset As a spare headset I also bought the HyperX Cloud Core Wireless. For £100 (I bought for £85) it’s an amazing sounding headset. Extremely well tuned and positional audio is amazing and the best at that price range. It’s identical to the HyperX Cloud 2 Wireless, but cheaper and I highly recommend this headset for anyone who’s looking for a headset for £100 or below. You seriously will love how good it is
+1 for cloud 2 wireless. competitive fps player and i love it. I find its best used without surround sound but havin hrtf on in csgo and hrtf off in valorant (hrtf in valo was terrible, sounds behind a wall on my left sounded more like directly behind me.) havent tested siege and cod yet.
@@wallthemart I never use simulated surround sound, it ruins positional audio and everything sounds so distant and hollow. Cloud 2 definitely a great headset
I was thinking about getting the beyerdynamic mmx 150 but now I'm considering the nova 7 instead, heard many good things about both and they're the same price for me atm
@@xCheatah Beyerdynamic MMX 150 is a great headset. It has great sound quality and imaging however, the highs are a little pulled back and you don’t get that much distance and clarity in hearing footsteps and overall directional audio and it’s a little uncomfortable in my opinion I mostly prefer wireless headsets for it’s convenience and generally you do sacrifice a little bit of the sound quality when it’s wireless however, wireless technology has come a long way in gaming headsets and sound quality isn’t far off from wired. The Nova 7 is amazing and it’s my main headset
Yep. I don’t really want to spend more than $200. Haven’t found anything I really like so I’m sticking with my ole trusty sennheiser gaming zeros that I’ve had for years lol.
my issue with steel series isnt the sound. its the velcro head band. when you set it down the velcro will come undone and you have to reset it every time your put them on.
I have a question. Today i own Logitech Wireless Pro X. They lack sound for music. Specially bass. Are Arctis Nova Pro better? Or which one do you recommend?
I've been running the Arctic 9x for 3 years and I love them. The new Nova pro's have me excited. The only thing is I wanna know if you can still plug in an aux into the headset while simultaneously playing on Xbox. That's how I hear my stream sounds.

Now I use a beyerdynamic dt 770 and for 125 it's the best headphones I've ever used
Okay I agree with you, but to be honest, not everyone has space or a setup adapted for a dedicated mic, so the headset e clearly the simplier option
@@wishmeluck1124 you can buy a mod mic with a stereo headset
Awesome vid, although I would’ve liked a glasses test for the Sony
Nice to see you had some sub $100 headphones for us budget minded.
It's worrying to me how I keep searching for Logitech for my next pair and not one pair of them featured in your list.
Good test, good video... work on the rapping dude ;)
Well Logitech dosent make new gaming products anymore. He's only reviewing new headsets.
Thanks a lot for the video man and greetings from México 👍🏻
Love it :) still rocking my pro x Logitech headset wireless, recently saw they came out with similar iem with logitech light speed
1. VZR Model ONE
2. Epos H6 PRO Open-back or Closed-back
3. Everything else...
Trust. Thank me later.
I've got the H6Pro and they are truly amazing! Dont forget to purchase the GSX 300 to go with it! 🎉
@@Hello3Cb I had the GSX 300 before, but I was having errors with keeping sidetone enabled. Now I'm running the Sound Blaster X4 and it works great.
Fax. I second the VZR model one.
I have the artic nova pro after yesterday and it so good the bass is also good after sonar eq and the mic in mindblowing with sonar big 10
Are the Astro a50s better?
Nearly all headsets looks like they will break after 1 or 2 years. Because they are complete made of plastic. My last Logitech and Roccat headsets (~100€) died this death. There should be a category for durability. I know it is not possible or just for last gen headsets. But thank you for this review!
It's not because they're made of plastic. It's because they're poor quality. Plastic can last for decades, if made properly.
I used a razer kraken pro for 9 years and it despite the headband cloth and and the pads tearing up (I replaced the pads with aliexpress ones, 5 bucks), they still work fine. No issues in the build.
Just not asthetically pleasing anymore haha. And they sound horrible xD
Next top monitor 2022 pls
Debating on getting the arctis nova. My arctis pro wireless just broke last night taking it off my head, and I don't know why cause it's the same way I always did. But I noticed that the left turn nozzle basically, to wrap it around your neck or place face down, moves on its own for some reason while the right one stays still. That could be the reason it broke, basically just that it got twisted.
Can we get a review for the Steelseries Arctis Nova 1?
I recommend you buy professional audiophile headphones only from here on out
DO A SERIES OF THIS FOCUSING BUDGET STUFF
I literally do cool tech under $50 every month.

will you also do a headphone top 5?
The fresh prince sound test was HILARIOUS, and it being one of my favorite shows from
love it! best video i have watched at 3am
Franky my man love the video but can you fo a video on the best sounding head phones? And how to get started on a sound setup.
I needed this
Nice chair!I like this! Always trust you!
The H9 cost 220€, the Nova 330€ (i know, its very cool with 2 batteries on the Nova, but the sound in more important for me)
Witch one is the best nova 7 or razen ?
I’ve tried and tested many headsets over the last couple of years and I’ve been around audio all my life and understand very well what good sound is
After lots of testing surprisingly I found the Astro A20 Gen 2 to be such a perfect headset and extremely well tuned. However, after a year of use it developed a defect, so I went back to the drawing board
Previously I used the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless and that was simply the best of the best. However, I went through 3 pairs as all of them had drivers popping or disconnecting and that’s why I started to use the Astro A20 Gen 2
I then extensively tested the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and the Nova 7 Wireless. So at the end I couldn’t justify that £350 price
The Nova 7 is a different story. They have the same drivers as the Nova Pro, out of the box have a better tuned frequency overall. The bass and mids accuracy is great and the highs are almost identical. Imaging is very similar too. Nova 7 is definitely as good as the £350 Nova Pro but for almost half the price at £180. I simply replaced the fabric ear ear pads with the SteelSeries soft leatherette ear pads, slightly tuned and increased the highs in the SteelSeries Engine and it now sounds amazing
For me the SteelSeries Nova 7 is the best headset
As a spare headset I also bought the HyperX Cloud Core Wireless.
It has great sound quality and imaging however, the highs are a little pulled back and you don’t get that much distance and clarity in hearing footsteps and overall directional audio and it’s a little uncomfortable in my opinion
I mostly prefer wireless headsets for it’s convenience and generally you do sacrifice a little bit of the sound quality when it’s wireless however, wireless technology has come a long way in gaming headsets and sound quality isn’t far off from wired. The Nova 7 is amazing and it’s my main headset
I believe that The Kraken lineup from Razer is the best for gamers .😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
great vid!
THE FAT DISCOUNT CODE lmao thank you! Almost bought the chair without going back to look for it
Bought some Arctis 3 for $35 on Amazon. Already had a pair of these for years now. Great headset
Which is the best headset for Xbox series x and PS5?
Wow the second (corsair) headset has best mic by far it seems
I’ll give that to you that was a good transition to a sponsor
Bro that sponsored chair looks fucking lit!
InZone H9 MIC IS AWEFUL!
The #1 joice of the SteelSeries Artic Nova Pro looks so good but ouch $320-$350 is a bit too steep of a price for these pockets.
Yep. I don’t really want to spend more than $200. Haven’t found anything I really like so I’m sticking with my ole trusty sennheiser gaming zeros that I’ve had for years lol.
Nova pro wireless is the best headset I’ve used in awhile. 100% worth the price tag.
Between nova1 / epos H3X / HS65 which one is the best?
my issue with steel series isnt the sound. its the velcro head band. when you set it down the velcro will come undone and you have to reset it every time your put them on.
It's really annoying with mine too
Hi, whats better, steelseries artic prime or corsair hs65?
I have a question. Today i own Logitech Wireless Pro X. They lack sound for music. Specially bass. Are Arctis Nova Pro better? Or which one do you recommend?
I need to know this as well 😢
Oh man!, I really liked the chair but, no shipping to Canada
That fold out foot rest had me saying .. yeah. I need that lol
The nova pro is great in terms of sound quality and features. But has some of the most awful comfort in those ear cups.
This is a video from headsets released this year so that's why there aren't headsets like Razer Blackshark V2 pro.
That chair looks God tier
So I started this video with plans to buy a new headset, and ended up ordering the Hbada E3 Chair instead 😂
I've been running the Arctic 9x for 3 years and I love them. The new Nova pro's have me excited. The only thing is I wanna know if you can still plug in an aux into the headset while simultaneously playing on Xbox. That's how I hear my stream sounds.
got myself a fifine k669b so no need to worry about having a headphone integrated mic
so many vids recently nice
By the sound quality alone it looks like the Corsair HS65 should be in first
Which battlefield do you play?
