Charge a Telsa on Blink

In this video we explore how to charge a Telsa on Blink. I have done a prior video on ChargePoint charging but in the middle of Texas I ran into a Blink charger and wanted to find out how to use it. I found it is pretty easy once you setup an account but maybe not the fastest or cheapest way to charge.

Of public chargers, I use blink the most. Charge point prices are all over the place. Here in Oregon there are more blink chargers.

Did you need an adapter to connect to the blink charger? Or did you hook up as you would normally to a Tesla supercharger?

It is a J1772 do you need the J1772 adaptor. I got mine free when I bought my Model Y but I am not sure they are still coming with the cars.

Without a doubt, but if you are staying nearby or need another option, it is one.

@@MiddleAgedTesla Thanks. I just found out today that you can charge Tesla at a Volta charger as well, and evidently it's free for at least the first half an hour. But it's also snail speed.

It actually worked pretty good. It wasn’t DC fast charging but it is a good level 2 option.
