The flu is a highly contagious respiratory illness that shows up year after year. Which fact about the flu virus intrigued you the most?

I want to hear about how the body counteracts and attacks the flu and defeats it but none of that was in the video
It is ultimately our immune system that is responsible for death of the host. A very strong immune system flooding the tissues with mucous, and severe coughing to get rid of it and very high fever - all detrimental to a person and leave room for secondary infections like viral and bacterial pneumonia. Too big of a fight leaves the immune system paralyzed and opportunistic infections also can happen.....Basically, it is not the virus that kills us, but an over reactive immune system, just like for auto immune disorders and allergies. What will happen with a mild immune response? Virus comes, multiplies fast and would they automatically enter into an equilibrium? Then, leave the body slowly?

You can't every year the flu changes like how our bodies change everyday. 1 day the flu will have a specific gene then tomorrow it will look totally different because it multiplied and because the flu changes every year you can't have the same cure every year that will cure the flu 15 or 30 years from now. There's the H1N1 Influenza virus and then next year it might be something different
I had the flu when I was in my late 20's. The flu is no joke. I always thought it was like a and head cold or chest cold. NONE OF THE ABOVE. Terrible horrible body aches and a fever that made me hallucinate. Great video BTW. These are facts. Science is key.

Healthy foods are vegetables fruit and some meat.
I've never had the flu. Years later I discovered I have the HLA-B27 allele which apparently provides a protective response to influenza. Perhaps that's why I've never gotten it.

PS , I have NEVER EVER had a flu shot vaccine , and I never get a serious case of the flu .... I had a flu a year before corona. I was bed ridden for 7 weeks. My ears an nose were blocked, throat n muscles on fire. Seven miserable weeks, i was so ill and unhappy. I couldnt taste or smell. Just getting up to go toilet would cripple and exhaust me. Anyhoo... this is the story of my life every year sometimes 2 or 3 times p.a.

Prevent that from happening again. Introduce black seed oil to your system and start with half a teaspoon. And then start doing the Islamic dry fasting, from dusk till down two days a week.
Do you get your scheduled vaccines? You should be getting a flu vaccine every year. Also, you may have some sort of immune issue. If possible, please go and see a doctor about that.
I have the flu now, and it's soo much worse than when I had COVID
I must add that since I stopped taking the voluntary flu shot, I have stopped getting sick from the Flu. Every year I took it previously, I would end up becoming sick. I'm not an anti-vaccine person by any means, I just know, I seem healthier without this shot in particular.

You do realize people have Iron deficiencies right? It's quite common. I know Canada isn't as corrupt as the states so do what you want but don't make your kids fall under your mistakes and misguide them. Especially when your healthcare isn't free. Too expensive to let them get sick because your lack of awareness/misjudgement.

Got same staby staby feeling. I have/had Influenza A H3, stayed at the hospital for three days with oxigen, got me to almost pneumonia. I am better after 3 weeks of nightmare. But the cough and phlegm is still there.

I cant tell you the last time i had a cold or flu, it was like years ago but my friend who is a VEGAN and goes to the gym and eats healthy food gets sick like once a month, i eat brisket breakfast lunch and dinner with some gin and i never get sick am i lucky or a superhuman?
It depends on the immunity level, genetics, lifestyle, environment, nutrients etc..

I've heard of ones having bad side effects . And ones that never got the vaccine either. Do you think virisus attacks the side effected areas, then act as those cells, and as treated, in sleeps, rests, attacks in those areas, injurie areas acting like injured areas, normal, then still there. After vaccinations would it act normal, attack at , rests ? And a cycle of it, manipulatiing acting like normal cells, duplicating cells, after cells. Little by little, hiding imitating in areas.
