I've often said it's the overall comfort of the Lexus RX that keeps it a top seller for the brand. I like the design updates, especially that dark green. Lexus is determined to keep the RX competitive, can't wait to see the 3rd row replacement for the "L" - on guard GV80.

    • @MilesPerHr

The comfort factor isn’t really exclusive to the RX
You can find more comfortable options now. Aviator with the air suspension, MDX type S with the air suspension, x5 with the air suspension, grand Cherokee summit with the air suspension etc.

I just bought (ordered it 8 months ago... supply chain delays) a 2022 RX 450H F-Sport Handling package.
Love it. I’m mostly city driving and let me tell you smooth, quiet, comfortable, and taking a sharp turn at 35mph, no lean at all. Love this car. I’m intrigued by the 2023 500h but nervous the 4 cylinder turbo will require more maintenance than the most reliable V6 engine ever built.
If that turbo proves reliable and... Lexus puts back its hard drive mode control switch knob, I may trade this one in for a 500h in a couple of years.

Nori is a type of seaweed (in Japanese) that ranges from green to a dark brownish color. I don't understand why some people switch up letters when reading words in Japanese... just read it as its spelled, its not like English where the pronounciation of the same letters or the same cluster of letters isn't correspondent for each word.

Hard to find "luxury" cars these days which actually prioritize comfort over "sportiness." I'm sure journalists will love "F-Sport" but the hard seats, firm steering and suspension, and the shift away from comfort towards "high-tech" (which is what defines luxury these days) does nothing for me as someone who wants their crossover to be a soft, smooth, roomy, cushy daily driver. All it takes is a ride in a 15 year old RX to remember how comfortable luxury used to be.

@@ejtriance8765 Economic patriotism is greater in the heart of the country, so more people buy American cars. Foreign cars are more popular along the coasts, with the G-Wagon and Range Rover being the most popular ultra-luxury SUV's. They're very flashy, however. The appeal of the Landcruiser was that you could have comfort and luxury while flying completely under the radar. It's really puzzling why they got rid of the LC and kept the LX.

Interior is very underwhelming for a luxury product. Looks more like a Toyota interior than a Luxury car. Genesis GV80 interior is superior looking with better materials for less money. Lexus always does the bare minimum. That said, RX buyers don't cross shop the competition so sales should be fantastic for Lexus on the new RX like always

Working for both companies, the materials are identical in touch and anyone is hard pressed to beat Lexus that way, that being said the inside of the genesis is extremely nice but there is nearly nothing* sporty about those cars, just dif* cars
