    I had one of these, she loved meal worms. Sometimes, the worm was extra feisty, and she got a wild ride on the thing, because she would hang on with her fangs and jaws, while the worm moved around like crazy! I called it a worm rodeo, and it really looked silly/funny, from time to time. 🤣👍😄

    Sadistic Predator. It's always been amusing to watch Spiders 🕷️ like these that constantly and consistently bite their victims until the venom, SLOWLY, paralyze the prey, breaking down the flesh for the Sinister Smoothie Breakfast Drink. Love ❤️ it!!!

    • @xbtkatana

      You sound like a sadistic predator ngl

    • @derricklogan2058
      @derricklogan2058 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, Dandy Lion, I suppose that the truth sounds "Sadistic," but if you really read some books on Spiders, that's how the venom works! The chemical structure of the Spider Venom both paralyzes the victim, then liquifies the tissue so that the Spider can "eat" by sucking the fluid through their hollow fangs. Each venomous animal or insect, such as a hornet, has a specific use for their venom. I've been called many things during my life. Some flattering and some not, but you saying that I sound Sadistic is fine with me! Thank you. ☮️

    Hey what an awesome habitat you've set up there! I've got one of these as a baby spider and I created an artificial web and the baby spider has been eating. Although your habitat is much better than mine :)

    yes the spider is big. but giant? i dont think so lol.

    • @Spudchucker92
      @Spudchucker92 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s categorised as the ‘giant house spider’ to differentiate it from the common house spider.
      They get big but we do get larger spiders here in the UK, the cardinal spider in particular is considerably bigger. I think the biggest is the ‘fen raft’ spider, I believe it’s called?

    the venom it's probably not very toxic, the spiders with powerful venom (somehow they know it) just bite once and wait. This one attacks several times

    • @shivaskrivs2612
      @shivaskrivs2612 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sixchambersTTV this is a female. The “palps at the front” comment is misinformed. All spiders have pedipalps, the males have bulbous mits on the ends that most refer to as boxing gloves. This is clearly female 100%.

  • @GamingIncMasterTroll
    @GamingIncMasterTroll ปีที่แล้ว

    I think we need to stop categorizing them as “giant” because they’re not . Have you seen anything giant before? That’s not giant , giant is giant , that’s not even big , it’s medium size

    • @Spudchucker92
      @Spudchucker92 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it’s purely to differentiate it from the smaller common house spider. Of course when compared to a Goliath Birdeater or some huntsman spiders, the ‘giant’ house spider is pretty small.
