A docile animal will not attack his owner. If the bull was kept for bull fights, everyone knows how their horns are sharpened and the animals are kept in an agitated state with what I don’t know. In this case, who is responsible? It is very sad that someone’s son, husband and father is dead but dhirio lovers must think about this incident and not violate the law.
Who didn't see this happening? I think Dhirios can take place but there need strict safety protocols in place. I watched the Dhirios videos on YT and I was shocked how everyone was so careless. They have bull fights in Mexico, Brazil, Spain etc. They have an arena so that the spectators are far away from danger. Only a few people are in the ring with the bull. Although the bull fight is different, you still need proper safety protocols. The horns should be covered or cut to stop them from being dangerous. It is ludicrous to have it in an open field with every one in harm's way!
In the foreign bull fights they have highly trained individuals who work as "clowns" that immediately step in to help distract the bull as soon as a person is injured.
Goa should have safety protocol if they are to continue this sport. They should also have rules for the animals so that they are injured to death.
A lot must be done to make them safe for both the people and the animals.
And for a person that is raising a bull for fighting than know that it is a dangerous animals and can harm and kill at any time.
Mr Cedric plz dnt assume things which u dnt know as even the stray. Cattle irrespective of make or female can charge a person as they are animals. Don't just say they were rearing bulls fr bullfights.

Once i remember one of our Bondo MLA said if you ( people of Goa ) elect , the next moment i will build a stadium for dhirio' , after six months the Fatorda stadium was completed by our beloved Mr Montecruz , we salute ou great leader for his contribution towards the Fatorda stadium.

Firstly, please pardon me if I am mistaken. I am not sure who to trust because it is possible that I saw the wrong Dherio video.
2. The Dherio viewers are not safe or protected.
3. The injured party has no insurance because it is illegal.
4. Bullfighting is regarded as animal cruelty in India. Maneka Gandhi's proposal was passed into law by the parliament.
5. A system failure seems to be occurring.

I agree with some of what you are saying. I do think it is possible to have the Dhirios and it can be as safe as possible. But a lot has to change for that to happen!

Goa has been trying to ban it but it only pushed the sport underground which is even more unsafe for all involved.
It is best to legalize it but with laws in place to protect the public and the ones with the bull. They need an ambulance on stand by at all times.
Build an arena like they do in Mexico or Spain. Have it well regulated. The bulls natural instinct is to fight another bull, but the fight should only be allowed for a short duration. The police should be also be present to maintain the rules and regulations so that neither the animals of the public are hurt.

I do sympathise to the entire family in this time of grief and I pray God give strength to the family to bear the loss, well we humans when we are alive we don,t care for anybody we hate each other, we fight, we rob, we kill, and we do the opposite of God we don,t think of our soul who is in our flesh what does the soul is expecting from our flesh and we corrupt our soul to the extend that we face hell and then like a hypocrite human we say to the dead may your soul rest in peace we take God for granted we make a fool of God, after death there is Judgement where the book of life is opened and has per the deeds done on earth while were alive it will be judge so no matter how much you say rest in peace its useless.
