Hope you've really enjoyed your time in Kuching, Sarawak. And yes, we really take pride in our Laksa Sarawak because it tastes like no other laksas out there haha. I usually have mine with the glass noodles or vermicelli but if I'm extra hungry, I'll have it with the kolo mee or the Hokkien (Chinese dialect) would say 'kiu mee' with kiu being curly or frizzy and mee being noodles, then it can last me all the way till dinner time. Breakfast of the gods indeed, rest in peace Anthony Bourdain. Once again, thank you for coming to Kuching and presenting us to the rest of the world. Oooooo haaaaaaa........

before u come,i advised the newcomers please make sure to have someone knowledgeable like her to tour u around Kuching...u won't regret it...some part of Kuching is really happening during the weekend, school holidays,and public holidays...much more lively...the weekdays are more calm and peaceful...and don't go back home yet,not until u try the Laksa Sarawak once in ur lifetime...
My grandmother is Bidayuh, from the land tribe. This video has made me miss kuching and my family more. I especially miss the food!! Roti canai, sarawakian laksa just don’t hit the same in the UK!

Yes agreed with you. I missed our Sarawak fried midin belacan so much n can't find it in Petaling Jaya. Luckily I have Sarawak laksa pastes n once a while I Cook the laksa myself.
