Despite being five times outnumbered, the Commonwealth forces made up of four countries - New Zealand, the UK, Canada, and Australia - miraculously defeated the enemy in the Battle of Kapyong. The strong relationship between Korea and New Zealand, which began with New Zealand’s service in the Korean War, continues to this day.
