The armors aren't cosmetic, these have stats and feats, but you will be able to get armors with similar combinations of stats and feats. It's unclear if you'll be able to find other armors with the same combination of stats and feats like in the preorder.
The deluxe edition armor sets are cosmetic, they don't have any unique stats. The other armor sets in the game definitely have stats fore sure and are also categorized as light, medium, heavy.
There are no cosmetic armours mate. Helmets and capes are cosmetic. Armours have stats, including the preorder armors.

So are we sure the “alternative” weapons in the war bonds aren’t specifically better (how ever small the advantage) than the other version that are free?
what i meant by the "alternative" weapon, was for the one and only SMG that is in the "Super citizen" edition or the deluxe of the game. Only 1 weapon. So for that 1 smg, there might be an alternative version of it in the game for free. Whatever is in the warbonds, is for free as explained in the video.

Mind blowing that people are acting like micro transactions are a terrible thing when in fact Arrowhead executed this in the best possible way. All while IGN is bashing them for “not having enough content to go the long run” although the freaking game literally hasn’t been released yet and you can even see on the galactic map that there is a ton of empty space for new factions to come in.

Well....ITS IGN! LOOOL! Dont take them too seriously. I mean i get it...gaming news, updates from them? Awesome! But gaming reviews? Well...you need to have REAL GAMER. Who's gone balls deep in that genre of the games. So, i consider myself decent when it comes to coop shooters, and i've seen IGN's reviews for a couple of games that i've played myself...and they were a pisstake.
Microtransactions are a terrible thing for customers, but hey, if folks buy it and companies make a lot of money from them I won't blame them, I would've done the same. We don't know if Arrowhead executed this in the best possible way cause we don't know how long it takes to grind the premium currency yet. If there is a game where P2W is much less relevant though, then it's definitely this game, simply because's it's a PVE and not a PVP game.
Well, its a live service game and AHSG WILL give us more content for sure. First of which is already teased to be the "mechs". Now, in order to give us more content, they need to keep making money off of it. Hence the micro transactions. However, they're NOT forcing you to buy super credits and you can simply earn them by playing. Are they fair and easy to earn? I believe so, after speaking with the devs.@@zoopa9988
@@inexorablewarrior We don't know for sure if the currency is fair/easy to get though so I would wait before saying they aren't forcing players to buy super credits. I just want enough content so I hope they'll "give" us a warbond every month, probably not though, maybe every quarter aka every 3 months.
I'm very excited about the game though and hope it'll be a great succes and that it's also doable to get the currency without paying for it. It's a 40$ game however so it may not be as bad to spend a extra 20$ to help you get a few warbonds the easy way.
@@zoopa9988 we already had a dev tell us in the discord that the grind to unlock the warbirds is extremely reasonable

I have yet to play a game where micro transactions to not damage the balance of the game. The only way to sell micro transactions is to make upgrading through gameplay slower. This upsets the balance of the game. When you have to work far too hard to unlock something it reduces the quality of the game. Period.
Have you played the game now that it's launched and going strong?
I mean in most games I'd agree they make it take to long. But in this game it doesn't feel bad at all. Like 20min of farming other then other games that it takes weeks/months.
@@dabkevinhere5422 oh for sure! The micro transactions are basically non existent. They are in fact a voluntary means of supporting the devs i believe.
It's the progress page, btw you can acquire everything without paying. It's hilarious how dumb people are. It's not a battle pass it's 1 standart progress and 1 dlc. Then there is the, shop, but y you can get this suoer credits ingame on missions in some area's

Oh dam, This game is going to be loaded with Microtransactions. Sad, I loved the first game but I'll be pirating this one.
did you not watch the video bud? There is nothing to pay for but the in game currency and only IF you want to. Otherwise you can earn that by just playing.
@@inexorablewarrior Yes, Nothing to pay for except the thing you can pay for... in game cash. Hopefully they don't get greedy but it sounds like we'll be getting paid DLC and Skins so far. Live service is never a good thing .
well, live service means, the game will be getting more content for a very long time. IMO, its a good thing. ALSO, this is what the FAQs on the official discord servers say.

"Q. Will progressing through Warbonds separate me from other players?
A.Nope! You will always be able to play all our content updates with other players who have only bought the base game. All other future updates, for example enemies, environments and missions will be free for everyone who's bought the base game."

@@inexorablewarrior Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. All Monster Hunter games and the first Hell divers game got a bunch of updates and weren't considered live service. To me live service. Means lack of content and broken day one. The funds they gather from it being live service get them to fix and finish the game. I hope I'm wrong. I'll give it a few months and see how it looks.

So it is pay to win... Just because you CAN earn the items by playing doesnt mean it isnt pay to win. Idk why ppl have trouble wrapping thier head around what makes a game pay to win. If 2 players go up against eachother, one having spent money and one having not spent money. The person who spent money is at an unfair advantage over the one who didnt. Plain and simple. This is unfontunate. May refund the game. Pretty rediculous price tag for a game with these kinds of mictrotransactions.
So the currency you need to buy stuff from the super store that you can buy from real money or just find it on missions?? I never bought it with real money and I'm sitting on a shitton of it by just playing the game. I don't even know why they have micro transactions. It's that easy to get the super credits.
@inexorablewarrior I'm just going based off of what you said in the video. Idk why they have microtransactions either when it's not a free game. Pretty ridiculous. And the fact that the highest bundle is 300 dollars shows what kind of company they are. I had a little over 2 hours in game today and thankfully, they allowed the refund.
