I got the super citizen edition. One of my friends joined, and I made fun of him for being a lowly cadet with no drip. He promptly bought the upgrade. An hour or so later, another friend of ours joined, and we both also made fun of him for being a cadet with no drip. He, too, promptly joined us in the ranks of super citizens.

I paid $40 for a game.
It is worth way more than the $60 most normal games cost.

It's 60 in Australian dollars but im happy to pay around 30 bucks extra for it. Really wish it was on xbox tho (my main gaming system) but I will play on pc if needed
28€ GDA no tax 36€ with tax so 29€ + steam upgrade 20€ totale 48€ or 56€ with tax
I think they did deluxe edition good, it's there to support the devs and you can get most of the things through playing ingame. (few like cosmetics and smg are unique but not op)
The smg is pretty damn good dps wise, but the shotgun is just OP both ammo and dps wise so the smg seems meh next to it
I switched to the shotgun pretty fast after unlocking it :)
gotta say the armor is kind nice, 50% to just straight up not die
Id grab it if they fleshed out it's technical aspect 👌 (arguably reminiscent of Vermintide early days) it ain't keen paying an extra 20$

I like how the grind isn't too egregious either. And since the bonds never expire you can basically pick and choose what you want to get.
Yeah unlike most battlepasses its comforting to know its not just gonna pressure me into playing 24/7 on a time limit so I get my money's worth out of it. It's not too difficult to unlock in-game either if you really gun it for the points of interest around the map after the main objective is done.
Forcing your players to play your game daily is a good way to make them hate the game, especially when it.comes to casuals. If I get off a long shift and I'm not in the mood to play 3 hours of fortnite, guess I'm not finishing that battle pass! Or I have to pull myself into the chair, play a couple matches, and go to sleep with a distain and anxiety for the game.
I really hope other games copy the helldivers war bond formula. Weaponized fomo is the WORST plague on live service gaming

When I saw Warbond had different items in it I was worried that the DLC would have OP exclusive items so it's nice to see it's mostly cosmetic and the gun has a fun but limited gimmick. Thanks for the info.

I almost have enough to buy it after playing for 20 hours.
Did get lucky with a lot of missions which had an insane amount of super credits.

Considering the full auto pistol, impact grenade, and the Breaker shotgun all come from the standard Warbond you’re just buying the premium one for drip. Most the op endgame stuff is in the standard Warbond. While the premium Warbond really only has the drip and the Incendiary Breaker shotgun which I’ll admit is at least A tier.
The only thing that can beat the bugs is a strong economy! Spend your extra money! Support the peace keeping efforts. Support Super Earth!

Just came across your channel, Stefan. I absolutely have been loving the game. I decided to break down and buy the Super Citizen Upgrade. I personally think it's worth it just for the Warbond alone, but I like the armor, cape, and Title we get with it as well. Ive played probably 12.5 hours so far, and it's been nothing but a blast (except when my squadmates blow me up with an airstrike without alerting me) 😂. Keep up the awesome work! Lets give those bugs a taste of Liber-Tea!
Glad to see you're enjoying the game and spread that Managed Democracy :) and if getting blown up by teammates would be an Olympic sport, I think I'd get a medal...then again I have the tendency to always stand in the wrong spot at the wrong time.
As far as what you get for the upgrade maybe it is not worth it. But to support this game and the developers. To keep content coming in the future. Absolutely! This game is awesome!

The thing that made smg very good is that its one handed therefore u can sprint and shoot as well as holding obj in one hand and still use primary. For the sprint and shoot u can turn crosshair on all the time in setting instead of dynamic

Haha it's as you said: i got the super citizen edition because i played the absolute hell out of the first one. Loved it and the devs. Now im loving Helldivers 2, probably more so because of the third person camera
If the devs go about it like Deep Rock Galactic and charge for cosmetics to support them? Then ill gladly purchase

Thank you very much in the end I decided to go for the base version since I didn't have that much money to spend, but I'm happy to know that I can still unlock the Premium Pass, in the time I played Helldivers 1 and what a great game.

I bought the 40 dollar version. And after playing the game for a couple of hours , I couldn’t get enough of it. I know the game has sever issues, but this game has so much potential. I bought the super citizen edition upgrade not only to help the devs, but because I’m a super citizen
Where Dominator shines, it's Cyborg missions, why?
It one-shots any visible Cybrog head - from typical goon to Rocket /Devastator - learning curve is indeed steep (with how barrel is offset from the reticle (on closer ranges you have to actually aim with laser pointer instead of red dot sight)), but having 15 rounds of possibly up to 15 dead cyborgs per magazine is an immeasurable advantage.
On top of that, it simply helps you conserve your autocannon ammo due to it's ability to deal with groups of goons (without taking up either resupply or startagem slot)
Wouldnt the sniper do the same job if you take your time to headshot everything ?

I’ve had the most fun doing high difficulty playthroughs on the double bile Titan either solo or with 1 buddy. It’s just a nice balance of will we make it or not. Especially when I call in both the 120mm and the 380mm barrage along with a bombing run and orbital on the same spot trying to bait the titans into it and you just sitting there like either we go or they do🤣

Ive bought the 60 doller version 3 times to show support to arrowhead. I bought it for me and 2 of my friends. They have now bought a copy for a friend as well so we all have it now.

I love the game I bought the upgrade. Plus the armor just looked kool.
I hope arrowhead moves into the direction of allow players to unlocking more gear and rewards through challenges or just in game activities since the game was priced. They have a good chance of creating a years worth game if they continue, this was a good video to watch. Maybe all the these “free” to play games could learn from this.
Technically, the major and personal orders are a way to earn more rewards (medals and requisition credits) through timed challenges.
The fact that in about 2 dollars you can gain a cosmetic piece is so fuckin awesome.
This, AND you can also just invest an hour of your time instead. For most people spending money is the more efficient option of course, but i love that you can grind it out. While money isnt an issue, i enjoy myself some grind sometimes lol.

I don’t know if it was something I did, but I ended up with 990 SC after completing the regular warbonds. What do you get the last 10 SC from?
find them in a mission, should be easy
To add to what @Gatoucho said; try looking around for a yellow blinking pillar of light or try and find half-buried containers (you can breach the door with a frag or a grenade launcher). Those POI's can contain extra Super Credits. 1 find equals 10 SC.
Currently the gun it comes with is the second best in the game with a significantly higher DPS and anything but the sg 225. Definitely worth a purchase for that alone. All the others items are very fun as well.

@@Ysandell No, I'm already playing Starship Troopers and hopefully it will implement the Galactic aspect of the battles in a similar fashion. For now no cosmetic upgrade is really worth it for me in either game.

Might have to go into the game file and download the extra stuff. When I bought premium MK1 I didn’t have the DLC stuff so every time a new character comes out I have to download it, but not in the game itself

Wait, what do you mean about instant unlock warbons content, I have the super citizen edition and I don't have anything unlocked, I've been grinding to unlock stuff inside.
There are two Warbond packages available in the game: Helldivers Mobilize! and Steeled Veterans. The Steeled Veterans Warbond costs 1000 Super Credits to unlock it and start spending your warbond medals on its contents. Anyone who purchased the Super Citizen DLC doesn't need to pay the 1000 Super Credits to do that, but will need to spend the warbond medals.

@pukeko From what I understand, you need to contact support and they'll refund you 1000 Super Credits. That may have changed with all those patches going through, but I know for sure they were making sure people got the appropriate Super Credits in their account.
I bought it because i enjoy the game and its nice to support a game you enjoy
i base these kind of extra unecessary purchases on how the devs act online, and these guys seem pretty cool so yeh get it
As someone who has all the war bonds thus far and is around lvl 37 I was wondering if it is worth it to get the Super citizen version. I do enjoy the game and am planning on playing it until the next Es or fallout and I don’t mind supporting the developers but is it just the weapon armor cape and mini game? I don’t need a warbond unlocked if I already have it. What else is there? Do you get extra currency? Does it unlock the next warbond?
This far in at lvl 37, in my opinion, with Steeled Veterans unlocked and access to lots of gear: get the SC edition either if you want to support Arrowhead in funding development hours/day to keep improving the game and make sure Joel (& unnamed heroes of the storyline team) can continue bringing the game to life through it's story AND/OR if you reeeeally want to have that armor or mini-game.
You don't get extra currency nor will it be a "token" to unlock a next-in-line warbond.
I have yet to be able to log on in 3 days on my PS5. But once I'm allowed to play a match. I'll probably buy the upgrade haha.

I bought Super Citizen for the helmet. Just love the look of it, and it fits well with the other uniform parts that come with Super Citizen so I'm wearing those as well. I don't use the title ingame because that would take away the joy from me for unlocking a new rank every few levels. Also like to support the devs.
i like the deluxe cuz it does not give you advanteges above others, and the devs said so as well, it is just a means to support them and look badass while at it

When you finally get more than one PlayStation in your home you will never buy physical again. You basically get 2 copies of the game by buying digital. Make the other ps your shared console and anyone that plays on it can play any digital game you have purchased

One thing i would like to know is if you have got the steel veterans already, but then want to get the super citizen upgrade, do you get reimbursed for the super credits spent for the steel veterans warbond?

The incendiary shotgun under the premium warbonds is ridiculous. Having the premium immediately gets you access to it sooner. While you can get it for free, it will take much longer. Just one of us having it, in my friend group, has made a huge difference.
Yeah that particular shotgun is very good: 1 mag can down a Brood Commander and those annoying Spitters (almost like the large Beetle fire Arachnid from Starship Troopers)

Imo, even if it isnt worth it, if you buy it, it supports the devs even more for such a great game so that they can make better updates. Also the armour just looks cool.

I have been having so much fun with the game I got the upgrade just to show my support to the devs.
I bought the standard version at first, played two matches and decided yep this game is worth it, upgraded to deluxe edition, no regrets and still cheaper than normal priced games

2:43 one thing you missed on the sub machine gun is u can run and shoot with it u dont have to aim. And since its kne handed you can continue running while spraying backwards.
I could have but I left it out because it didn't feel like a huge upside to mention...it's way more inaccurate so unless they are with 2 meters you hit less than half of your shots & the gun empties just as fast so you still end up with nothing.
