Help me understand. I must of missed something, you took out 3 quarts but had to pump in 10 quarts. Is that right? Have you had any issues since this was serviced? Thanks
Watching you have to go through all this BS makes me even more thankful I didn't just take the 4.3 V6/8 spd that my dealer had on the lot when I bought my van.. It was definitely worth the wait to get the 6.0 V8/6 spd.. so much simpler with a dipstick lol

Ive got a fleet vehicle on ramp for PM on filter and fluid, test drive i can feel slipping every gear change. Asking myself if i reslly want to get into this on a Friday lol Great video!
Damn what a stupid idea.....I have a 16 with the 4.8L....i have no idea how to get rear transmission pan bolts out. The damn exhaust is nearly on top of it, I thought my 04 was bad. These are commercial vehicles that need this service done often....to not install a drain plug on the pan is criminal.
What I ended up doing temporary is pulled out quick fitting on passenger top side of radiator and hooked up tubing into a oil pan. I added fluid as fluid came out, till it ran brand new....and checked with dipstick. I figure this give some time till I get it right. If I find out how to remove pan,I have saved this video....I will keep you guys posted!
That's pretty crazy Chevys too cheap now to put an actual dipstick in there to let you monitor the level and also check to see if the clutches are burned or not. Leave it to Chevy. But at least they held on to their V8 in their cargo vans up until this year unless you get a passenger van or a cutaway van. With that said I'm getting a 2023 with a 6.6 l.. hopefully with less than 5 k on the clock.
Do you know a fast way I can remove my catilitc converter? Also the more silent the better... Don't want to wake grandma.. she's old. Sweet. Let me know. Hahhahahhaha lmfao 😜 you should do a video on how to stop catilitic theft.

The vehicle has had no issues at all. I’ve probably done a couple dozen of them since then.

Can you just overfill it and let the excess come out by itself? Isn’t there some kind of vent on it that purges excess fluid?

I ended up here looking for solution to exact same problem. Let me know if you find anything I'll do the same.

I have a 2021 3500 HD Dually with the 6.6 liter Gas and 6L90 trans. It also has no dipstick.
I think it is the same procedure.
