Johnny it's not a reboot, it's a sequel to wizards of Waverly Place, because if it is a reboot they will return to family wizard competition and the characters will be max, alex, and Justin with new actors portraits them, also it continues the story so it means it is a sequel, like suit life on deck it's a sequel, also revens home is also a sequel even iCarly is a sequel, if a show continues the story of previous show it is a sequel, if a show redo a previous show in a new way it's a reboot. I saw some people think Roman and Billie are into each other but I don’t see any romantic feelings , just like a sibling even tho they are not related .
@@Johnny2000sI think it deserves some romance tho considering that was a decent apart of the first one. You had Justin and Juliet, Alex and Mason, and Harper crush. I know these kids are like 2-4 years younger but I kinda wish there was romance and they were high school freshmen instead of middle schoolers. I think they are trying to play it as Roman and Billie being a replacement relationship similar to Alex and Justin but I can’t blame people for seeing it as romance when they are not siblings. It’s hard to imagine the show with no romance because waverly place had good ones. But I gotta say I do like Justin’s wife more than I thought I would.
Yeah, I wouldn't go that far. Besides, I find Season 4 of the OG show was perhaps their best season. It felt more mature and the style improved a lot than in the earlier seasons.
@ I feel the main conflict of that season was rather underwhelming and miserable to watch. It was basically Professor Crumbs screwed them over and no one calls him out for this. Yes he was trying to test them but he was being very unfair about the whole thing and it was kinda lazy how they thought they couldn’t defend themselves in court. Plus there’s the episode where Max tried to move the competition up and not give Alex and Justin a chance. Then Justin being a total jerk most the time. Like that time Alex was captured by the bad guys and he just didn’t care. If they done something better about theses issues I thank I wouldn’t have minded season 4 as bad.

I feel like around a half of joy I got from original show was in regard of it making subtle fun out of many fantasy themed staff going on at the time. And it's I feel a lack of it in Wizards Beyond. It's even like the whole thing was filmed in 2000's with no time passed, though it's still enjoyable in it's own way. But my thoughts don't matter as I have literally no way of watching anything beyond the first episode, so who knows what happens then. Names of the episodes are looking fun.
Who thinks the by the end of the season Justin's son's or one of his son's is going to get they're wizard powers there by igniting the wizard competition like that original series
Wizards of Waverly place was good the first time around I don't know why is Selena Gomez and David Henry want to relive what they've already done The Glory Days when they first began I think they need to come up with something new instead of reliving a show that's good anyway I saw the new wizards of Waverly place reboot and it's not as good as the original just like the Harry Potter franchise is not the same without Daniel Radcliffe for Emma Watson so that being said I think they need to come up with some new material if you're going to because the old stuff needs to stay in the past the future needs to have new ideas or we're just going to keep going backwards and forwards into the same old stuff that doesn't really matter people need to get to give up going back to what they used to know and return to what is new which is now not what was happening then so saline and David Henry need to move on Selena Gomez and all the need to move on because wizards of Waverly place was so yesterday time to move along ladies and gents
Now to comment about the show why his kids don’t have magic irks tf out me. They make a comment that it ‘skips’ generations but Jerry had it and then so did all his kids ????? Also Justin married a mortal and got to keep his powers ??? I swore I seen him use magic not just teach it like Jerry. Is this a loop hole cuz it was given to him to work at wiz tech? Also where tf is Billy’s mom and dad ????? lol besides these plot holes the show is good but I really thought his sons were gonna learn they were wizards….. Another way to fix this would be to say only the family wizard winner’s kids get the wizard gene. This would explain why Jerry’s children were wizards (he STILL won even tho he gave the power to Kelbo) and Justin’s kids would make sense for NOT being wizards as even tho he was told he could keep his powers he didn’t win the wizard comp for the family
I do t know if some People see a pattern but in thé world of charmed ( the tv show about 3 witches Piper , Page and prue) they also had a Billie in thé very last season 🙈🫣
Despite how lack luster the first few episodes have been, i give it props to at least trying new things and giving the spotlight more to the new cast members. If it was just the justin show then i would write it off as a cheap cash grab but it does seem like the show has direction and its own merits apart from being a sequel series. Im gonna write the jankiness of the first season as season 1 jitters, which all new shows have. That being said, i do think it was a bad decision in having billie be the only new mc character to have magic. What was so appealing about the original is that alex was always being challenged by different magical characters and needing to be smarter. With this show, its just “billie gets into trouble and billie and/or justin needs to fix it”. It also kinda makes it harder to incorporate other characters into the mix. At best, the new characters seem like the peanut gallery and at worst they seem like forced add-ons to fill in a quota. I think the show would greatly benefit from some characters being magic users/creatures, whether it’d be justin’s kids or a new character. I hope the season 1 finale establishes that justin’s kids have magic or at least are given SOMETHING to do instead of being billie’s +1. In the end, i think the show has a lot of growing pains but is overall still a decent sequel and show, it just needs to find its groove
When it comes to seeing the origina cast interact example:Alex and Justin it feels just like the old times but the kid actors acting are too modern disney its so over acted especially billie's friend atleast yhe episode she was introduced as far as acting goes the little brother seems to be more tame atleast for me

It will never compare two wizards of Waverly place the original sorry time to come up with something new Disney channel in Selena Gomez David henrie time to move along
@ it’s ok. Tbh I jus t love how you’re the first person to see this show as it’s own and not try to base it off the original too too much. I’ve finished the first season and I will say I just love the kids in the show and how funny they are and how my inference is that the evil entity hunting Billie is related to gorog based on the magics essence color
It is odd Justin is not teaching his kids magic…is it because they are only 1/4 wizard? Also odd that his wife looks so much like Harper! Also…with the two brothers sharing a room…what were they doing with Billie’s room before she moved in?
I haven't watched the show yet, but why don't Justin's kids have magic? The original show clearly established that magic passes to all descendants, regardless of whether a parent lost their family wizard competition (or, in Jerry's case, passed on his powers). So, all three Russo kids should have magical children. They even explained adolescent magic-typically weaker-which disadvantaged Max in the first season. Young wizards usually gain full powers around age 12, though only one can be the 'family wizard' for each family unit (more like family household since relatives retain their full powers).
@@Johnny2000sI think that Justin will have to lose his powers at one point due to him having a mortal wife which would cause the kids to gain powers instead but I’m sure how that’ll work lol.

a big issue is the kids are literally just alex, justin and max. billie is careless about magic and doesn't really care about learning the basic stuff she just wants to take every shortcut possible and use magic for her own benefit, like alex. roman is the nerdy guy who's uptight and all about following the rules. milo is the young one who's very childish and dumb. the personalities feel very copy paste, except they didn't even give roman and milo powers, despite justin still having his, and the excuse given in the show(said by roman) is that it skips a generation. it would've been much better if roman and milo had their powers blocked by justin when they were young and now that the cat's out of the bag, he unbinds them and has to teach all 3 about magic, with the added difficulty of milo and roman not having any background so they're starting from scratch. milo needs to be tamed with his magic because he's always using it for dumb kid stuff, and roman is used to be the top of the class overachiever so he's struggling to match billie's power level
I like majority of the main cast but I don’t really care for Winter, not hating the actor but I dislike her character being a total one to one of summer… The other new characters are familiar but not carbon copies of characters from the original. Like Billie and Roman are similar to Justin and Alex but also very different. Billie wants to be a good wizard but has bad habits, while Alex didn’t have any desires until later in the show. Roman as far as we know doesn’t care about the wIzard world, but more than likely will care as the show continues.

I got that memorized.
@@BillyAnselmo you're right, I made a mistake!
Why did Jake T. Austin, who played Max Russo, Jennifer Stone, who played Harper Finkle, and Maria Canals-Barrera, who played Theresa Russo, refuse to take part in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place?
Where's the news that they refused? From what I hear, they'll make appearances throughout the season.
No one refused also as far as Jennifer stone goes she’s a full time nurse so she literally doesn’t have the time to go film a kids show. That’s not to say she will never appear but she has thing called a job where she can’t just F off and do whatever she wants yanno.
@jordynnelmark4804 Doesn't she have a podcast? Where she also has cast members on from time to time? I swear I've seen this on TH-cam.
@@jordynnelmark4804so being an actor is not a job also or what exactly are you saying!!!!!

I was saying that anyone with a job can’t just leave and go do whatever they want as they have a schedule.
I saw some people think Roman and Billie are into each other but I don’t see any romantic feelings , just like a sibling even tho they are not related .
@@Missmagazinebura yes exactly not all relationships are romantic, it's definitely themed around family
@Johnny2000s that's due to Billie being a girl it's easier to see male and female relationships in media as romantic
i feel like romance is only 1% of all the relationships in my life lol i need representation for the other 99%
@@Johnny2000s true I relate
So far it’s better then the final season of the OG show.
DANGGGGG hot take but kind of real
@ sorry that was longer then I’d planned
@@battlestar976 No, you said what you needed to say. If your comment needs to be long, so be it because mines tend to be that if I need to go in detail. Season 4 got really interesting to me so I had no beef with it, though the whole thing with Max being a girl was stupid. They simply could have written him out for those three episodes taking a trip somewhere but okay.

Ahahhhaha they do look fun!
What if the ending to the episode 9 of new show is alex? Iykyk... that be a plot twist definitely

85% chance I'm betting
My @Johnny2000s also if you finish the episodes I think the character in the hood might be Alex evil Alex if anyone remembers Alex vs Alex
Wooooow!! Maybe it connects!
@@digitalrecord6334 totally agreed I can't wait for the finale
Max is a billionaire off of subs. Did you not see him in the old shell sitting in a chair with his dirty laundry dangling from the ceiling?

True.
@ I’m a writer and I get that this to appeal to the new trends that don’t really ever work. The old way to run a sitcom is still the best way, if it ain’t broken why fix it. But they wanted to fix something that that wasn’t broken

@ yesssss there's so much to love!
I wish they had the kids were training to become wizards once they find out cus wym it skips a generation? It didn’t skip after Megan’s generation
It is odd Justin is not teaching his kids magic…is it because they are only 1/4 wizard? Also odd that his wife looks so much like Harper!
Also…with the two brothers sharing a room…what were they doing with Billie’s room before she moved in?
Are they 1/4? I didn't realize the powers worked like that
I haven't watched the show yet, but why don't Justin's kids have magic? The original show clearly established that magic passes to all descendants, regardless of whether a parent lost their family wizard competition (or, in Jerry's case, passed on his powers). So, all three Russo kids should have magical children. They even explained adolescent magic-typically weaker-which disadvantaged Max in the first season. Young wizards usually gain full powers around age 12, though only one can be the 'family wizard' for each family unit (more like family household since relatives retain their full powers).

Fix audio levels of ur voice and background music choices (especially in this video for example background song loud and distracting doesn’t match the show or tone of video) and plz look into more background music choices as the repetitive super free sounding beats that change at random are so distracting and sometimes I have to stop the videos tho I love the topics cuz the background music is so bad. Maybe try some Nintendo or persona or something that fits the theme. Again I get it’s FASTER to not clean these things up but I hope as the channel grows these things are touched up. I appreciate you I'll get better at these things!
a big issue is the kids are literally just alex, justin and max. billie is careless about magic and doesn't really care about learning the basic stuff she just wants to take every shortcut possible and use magic for her own benefit, like alex. roman is the nerdy guy who's uptight and all about following the rules. milo is the young one who's very childish and dumb. the personalities feel very copy paste, except they didn't even give roman and milo powers, despite justin still having his, and the excuse given in the show(said by roman) is that it skips a generation. it would've been much better if roman and milo had their powers blocked by justin when they were young and now that the cat's out of the bag, he unbinds them and has to teach all 3 about magic, with the added difficulty of milo and roman not having any background so they're starting from scratch. milo needs to be tamed with his magic because he's always using it for dumb kid stuff, and roman is used to be the top of the class overachiever so he's struggling to match billie's power level
