Zen is underrated right now. Discord makes tanks melt as long as the team is focusing them

Zen is almost a must pick when the other team has Hog or Ram. That extra 25% damage is so helpful and more than makes up for his paltry 30 hp per second healing.
Zenyatta takes focus to be able to make the most of what he can do. People also underestimate what Harmony and Discord can do to aid your teammates

Holy crap the heals in this are insane lol so many times if I was pushing up like that in gold I'd be terrified and probably just die
You can switch tanks depending on who your supports are but you should also be mindful whether your being countered or not. In gold tanks tend to go around corners, go in a room and get out of line of sights of their supports. Make sure you don't force your supports to overextend themselves and get killed which will automatically make you lose the team fight.
@@aceofpurity you're completely wrong here, all the tanks been doing especially on defense is been going into rooms, they just have better supports following and enabling the tank, this is how you're expected to play at high elo
@@noorjahan3751 but the supports will die if they do that lol and if they do the tank dies aswell... a good example is tanks doing it with an Ana or a kiriko tps out into a choke with the 1 hp tank trying to save them

A mistake a lot of ram players make is chasing targets who are out of range in nemesis form. Cancel it, shoot them, and recharge the cooldown
One tip for Ram’s Ult: If you’re in nemesis form and about to use your Ult, drop your nemesis form then ult. Gives you your armor back.

Honestly though, I've been dabbling support. One thing I found that helps me win more games is to read my teammates. I look for someone who has pop off potential and I enable them. Of course I do my best to keep everyone alive but I make sure I focus strong players, it's kinda crazy how many heals you can dispense with a char like Bap or Kiriko and thus enabling bolder pushes.

Actually, when Ramattra in Nemesis Form looks up during Gravitic Flux, he actually takes only 25% damage (reduces 75% of the 50% slam damage).
EDIT: You only take 12.5% of the damage. I’m not very good at math but still. Block greatly reduces slam damage.

@@DeathForSk8 I think it’s due to the damage coming from above. It’s a similar interaction with Bastion (Config: Artillery).
@@DeathForSk8 i think its because that's the direction of the source of the damage. Bastion ult is a prime example, the upward block only work then you're in the middle of it but not to the side where you have to look in the middle, that because the damage come from the projectile that come down. Sigma doesnt have a projectile so it's coming up top by deffaut

I love the way the scaling works, you can be the most overpowered boi killing everything just by existing, but you never really fully more powerful then the enemys, let your guard down and get slapped by a Elder Dino and instantly lose your run, it keeps you on your toes in a good way at all times
for reference, for sigma ult, yes look straight up, with any block ability, sigmas ult deals damage from the top rather than applied directly to you (or even from the bottom atleast, the GROUND is whats hurting you) so you can actually block that invisible source of damage, orisa spinny, dva matrix (maybe, idk if its a projectile or a melee it hits you with), ram and doom block etc. sigma eat might work if its a projectile, same with his shield, but if its a melee the ult uses sigma cant block it, similarly neither can rein in that scenario
He know positioning and have positive/aggressive attitude.
Looking up does block sigmas ult so it’s less damage. Doesn’t matter where you’re standing you just have to look straight up

zenyatta: not viable ❌

Honestly they need to make it so that when someone is in the ram ult the timer on the ult ticks down slower but it doesn't stop.
The ult is basically feeding off the enemies life force. Making it slower would ruin the entire point of not only his ult but playing him in general

It's surprising he could sift through all the Orisa or Hogs to get the number one spot. And seeing Hanzo in these matches. The way Sigma's ult seems to interact with Ramatra's reduction is that damage comes from above and he's holding block to reduce damage (by passing shields but not passive reductions?). The floating and slamming is all merely a visual. I wonder if Blizzard will keep that or change it or consider it a bug.
I wouldn't call for rework. I feel that is the intentional purpose for his ult to work that way, and it isn't always a just lose scenario, as the game play being watch has demonstrated several times (there were moments where it seemed strong but notice if it were another tank's ult in those scenarios, they could have wiped the teams more effectively). In most of this game he just wastes it or dies.
Still, his ult rate does feel fast at times. It's currently 1680 points and most tanks have theirs closer to 2k except Reinhardt's just above 1500. I think they could raise it roughly I'd say around 200 points where it's on par with Winston's cost. I felt most of his recent buffs were unnecessary and they could have toned the other tanks down rather than power creep him. What I'd like to see to feel fair against tanks but also other roles as well is to tone down the recent buffs, raise the ultimate cost, and then tone the problematic tanks that have been annoying for a while. Then get rid of the dumb one shot spam charge from Sojourn's ultimate.
Zen is okay. Mercy is only 'busted' because she is annoyingly difficult to kill with the flying and jump spam and how fast the auto hp regen rate kicks in. The resurrection is strong but if she didn't have the mobility she would just trade places with her res targets most of the time. Ultimately, Kiriko is saving the day a lot of the times.
He got hard carried by his Supports, plus he was playing against Sigma who's weak against Ram for the majority of the match , not an ideal replay to be honest .

Zen is undderated af, especially when paired with Ramattra. Discord is a 30% debuff on an enemy and Ramattra hits for 60 per punch. Nemesis attacking a discarded target hits for almost 80 dmg per punch, and that's not even accounting if the second healer is a mercy or kiriko.
There are several outs to ramm ult . cant just say its not fair when you just don't play the out.
from my experience as Ramattra main his ultimate mostly depends on incompetance of enemy team and if they react in " OMG what should i do?!" sort of way, like i had a situation in one match that i used my utimate sucsesfully and all other times i got absolutly wrect by enemy team because they swapped to zen (and he is under rated right now) and junker queen (and she was under rated pre her buffs) and i was forced to swap
his ult isnt nesscarily strong on its own, the issue is he gets it so fast and the way to "deal" with it is to run away, that means he gets a ton of free time to push the payload uncontested as the only way to contest it is to be inside his ult. which is bad, he definately needs a slower ult charge

Ngl I have about half thie guys hours from the time the clip was watched and I play like this guy tbh , I play semi aggressive and stacking Kiriko ult with mine in big team fights is a tactic I do a lot , playing defensive as rammatra is a great aspect of him

It's shocking how much damage the opposing DPS does in a few secs. He plays so conservatively, just absorbing damage and ult charging his supports until there's 1 pick and then he goes in.
I’d play mercy but I can’t seem to figure out to fly correctly and stay alive. Zen with a discord is how you bully any tank. Large hit box and lots of heal. You can at times drop their health very low at times

i think the best way to make rammatra ult balanced would be to make his ult have a 20% movement speed slow, but also make ramattra have 20% reduced move speed. this would make it so it would function like it does in its pre nerf state for the people caught in it, but also make it punishable. meaning if you cast it at the wrong time then you wont trap anyone in it, or if you get displaced or stunned people can get out of it and the duration will end.
That's the exact reason why they buffed rammantra. Cause before you can run away from him easily and just play out of his range. His punches do not have much range as well to boot

In all honesty, seeing this gameplay gives me high hopes that I can close the gap and climb my way up to T500, I found myself correcting his mistakes and thinking what I could’ve done different in those scenarios. His gameplay isn’t that far off from mine, albeit I’m more aggressive but other than those mistakes, I would’ve played the same.

Yeah the ranked system sucks. You could have grandmaster gameplay but you will still lose because of teammates not even knowing how to play their own character or just throwing
@@margaerytyrell4177 nah Chief, I’m just a tank one trick and like watching gameplay and comparing my play style to different people and seeing what I have in common/do differently from them. Always helps to watch as many things as you can for different views and implement them into your play style. I recommend it

I have similar thoughts when I watch high rank players, but once I'm in a match my thinking gets muddled by all the things I have to focus on. I think that's the main difference for a lot of people, not the knowledge of what you should do itself but just how fast you can act on those instincts and how much you can be aware of all at once

When Sombra hacks Ram doing his ULT, it doesn’t shut off his tendrils that do damage.
Ram fast ult charge is the reward for landing the shots from that staff. Not easy tbh.
He does damage through everything except zarya doesn't take damage herself while bubbled

I literally just started playing this. I've only got 10 hours in. Don't understand all of it yet. But I'm trying. Got 40 wins in unranked. 10 more for competitive mode. Happy about that at least. Fun game and very addictive. So ALL and ANY tips, or best players to play with, advice is very appreciated.
Oh I like playing with Orais. But I did come across a player that can hack tanks and take away their ability to do anything.

They need to buff orissa. They should allow her to move while ulting so that she can chase you down while you try to escape. Her E should also allow her to fly.

ramatra is good only if healers are good.. i agree with his ulti recharge way to fast, but his ulti is not that "op" because, again, without healers, its a easy kill.. in this match, i wish i had that kinda healers everytime i play tank xD
