Jesus is he really that high up!? The only thing that brought me back to this game was checking out a new hero and unlocking skins during holiday events. Since neither of those are possible without forking over obscene, undeserving amounts of money, I probably won't bother. Unless they make it so you unlock a character like ~20 levels in, it's game over for me.
It was long dead to begin with, but they killed this game instantly by chasing insane amounts of greed.

I love how his nemesis-form primary fire moves like Zenyatta’s, and that his ult is like a reverse-transcendence it seems. Really plays well into his lore

Glad to have an omnic perspective for the lore surrounding the Omnic Crisis, where it isn’t just Zenyatta’s far removed peaceful wisdom, Bastion’s wordless naïveté since he only remembers flashes of the war, or Orisa’s fresh perspective being only a few months old and based primarily in Numbani. Ramattra seems like he’s got lots to say about human-omnic relations.
And Echo was basically always part of Overwatch

Has a shield. Has an alternative form that allows him to block or punch energy, and he has another ability that stops people from flying. Ult is constant damage. Fairly easy to get what's happening

He has a skill that prevents characters that can fly from flying. His ult creates a field around him that deals DoT to everyone inside it so enemies will die if they stay inside the field without healing.

They both were under the same teacher so could be perhaps the same arts they were taught, just that Zen weilds orbs while Rammatra is about force and sends shockwaves of energy
and it's cool to see how Ramattra's ultimate is the exactly opposite of Zenyatta's. While one does damage around him, the other heals.

My favorite part was when Ramattra used Doomfist’s Power Block ability, then he looked over to Doomfist and said, “This is how it’s done.” Then went off to save a kitten from a tree. He’s a true Hero.
I got chills when Ramattra said "It is morbin' time".
My faveurite part was when he said 0:34 "It's Rammatra time!" and" I will end Overwatch two"
im still wondering why they made doomfist a tank instead of the character with an ice wall ability
Man at this rate doomfist is going to be a footnote compared to Rammatra. Lots will still play doom but as usual it will be such a small playerbase.

The voice acting elevates the character a lot as well, it's incredible really

His kit honestly seems like a "best of" compilation of other character's abilities, which I'm all for. He feels like a genuine force to be reckoned with, even moreso than Junkerqueen, who I think is pretty cool but acts as more of a doped up DPS than a tank. Blizzard have outdone themselves with making their first unlockable-only character be something that really pulls people in.

The ending is pretty good, where he walks up to Mercy and mirrors the pose she makes when she saves people. Biggest difference is that he only saves omnics and anyone in his way gets destroyed, which is shown after his saviors pose, makes a more threatening stance.

This entire thing makes me hope Ramattra gets his own mission in the eventual story mode
Imagine charging on with a bunch of omnics to fight off Overwatch, before it then switched perspectives back to them, it'd be a great way to introduce him through gameplay
Would definitely want to see that and Null Sector being formed in the shadows before they would attack King's Row.

Not gonna lie, seeing him in his larger form with his arms crossed is pretty sick! Didn't think I would like the new hero but after seeing nemesis form and his voice lines I really like him!

His ult seems a little confusing at first, but I have a theory. That thing above his head is just a giant advanced discord orb, and the purple coloration only affirms the connection to discord. He uses the discord generated by the mistreatment of his kind to fuel his rage.
You care about the lore of this game more than the people who made it.

Rammatra's voice actor has done a phenomenal job with this character; you can literally feel the pain in his hatred and a genuine belief in his principles.
Rammatra has so much potential to be a FANTASTIC antagonist; I'm excited to see how he turns out once the PvE campaign arrives!
I guess is personal preference…but imo..his voice acting sounds 10 times better in Japanese
I thought his voice would’ve been more mystical, as if he came from the void..he sounds more like a scientist than a warlock/wizard.

He really is a good villain. He is sympathetic, and most importantly he has a lot of weight on him. Omnics are limited and can’t reproduce, and people are killing Omnics because of prejudice, him becoming a mass murderer and terrorist who kills humans and starts mass shootings and bombings is his way of protecting his people. After all, if all humans are dead then there won’t be any human left who can kill an innocent Omnic

He looks fantastic and he is voice acted to perfection. Not to mention his theme is incredible.
I love how an omnic just straight up breathes in the first shot, attention to detail is amazing
i think it can be handwaved as how they probably have various fluids and gases in their systems that need to be pumped through, like fuel, cooling, oxygen, and other substances that are needed to make machines work. and the original designers of omnics decided to make them appear as if they are breathing to make them more lifelike, and to overcome an engineering hurdle.
but, it is certainly something that was animated.

@@demonminer8093 its not that it is animated like body parts are moving to make it seem like a system, its just idlebreath.animationFile. also omnics dont do that and it wouldnt be efficient for a war robot like him to bend his metal pieces to appear breathing
