this is so helpful thank you!! i’m a girl but everyone has always bullied me for looking ‘like a man’ and i just want to look more like a woman since i am one
Hey! Thank you so much for providing these tutorials. I'm finally starting to present myself as agender, and makeup was a huge blocker for a long time. I hope you're still doing well~
Totally fantastic! I'm a 52 year old transwoman, and holy shitcows your videos are helping! I mean, I just discovered them today, but I am so happy and excited to start! You are a wonderful, encouraging person, doing such important work for the trans community. Thank you! Jenn
Aw yay!! I'm glad everything is helpful. I've got a lot more stuff on my full site if you want to check that out, including weekly makeup classes I teach online! www.theprettyfix.com
hard agree with this one. I always hated how I looked wearing glasses because I usually chose rectangular frames which were very unflattering. This time I went with circle frames and for the first time in 20 years I liked wearing glasses! I do have rounder cheeks and kind of a rectangular face shape though so I'm not sure if this is a universal tip or if it depends more on your face shape, but it's at least something to consider.
@@once.upon.a.time. Yea that’s a good point, my face is naturally kinda banana shaped but i do a lot of stuff to make it more circular and i also have big cheeks.
Love love LOVE your slightly longer red hair here compared to the short bleached look you have in your 5 o'clock shadow video. THIS works for you REALLY well.
For the blush, just wondered how I should decide between powder or cream? In general would you suggest cream blush for dryer skin, or does powder have its own benefits? Great video 🥰
Thanks! Cream blush looks most realistic because it sinks into the skin. It's definitely ideal for normal to dry skin types. Powder is typically fine for most skin types, but I switch to cream if someone has dry skin.
I hate to say but it's so old I don't even know! lol I have a palette I made of random shadows forever ago, so none of them are in original packaging for me to know what brands they are.
I've been doing a more heavy handed version of the brow line. Love this more subtle approach! Question: My eyebrows are a lighter shade than both my hair and stubble. What can I use in lieu of a dark eyeliner?
try using a brown liner! I would recommend looking at StyleKorean.com. Korean makeup products tend to be a lot mors natural and make mature faces look youthful
I think that because your mouth happens to be on the larger side, a less bold color there along with color on the eyes will help with balancing your proportions.
How do I do set my makeup for my large pores looking skin? So my goals are setting my makeup with blurring my large pores. I do wear a lot of sunscreen though and I am not going to change that.
What do you recommend if you have rosacea? The cheeks are already red so I usually try to make them paler with green balancing cream. Isn’t introducing the blush just brining it back in??
Thank you for making this :-) I just wanted to ask… In the whole foundation concealer and contour routine necessary to feminize my face or can it be more simple? I do have a pretty defined jaw bone and big forehead So I’m sure I could help but I’m wondering if there’s a more simple way because I usually come out looking like I put my face in a cake
So sorry I missed this comment! I would suggest trying to learn to use less of each product so that you don't end up so cakey. If you are possibly able to attend, I'm teaching a free makeup class this Sunday on how to get flawless looking skin without it looking heavy (you can find it on www.theprettyfix.com/classes). Attending a class like this might help you understand how/what you need to tweak to get better results! As for an easier way to feminize, however many steps you want to take on is totally up to you! There isn't really any substitute for contouring/highlighting in terms of changing the appearance of bone structure unfortunately, BUT if it's just too much of a process for you to take on right now maybe start with an easier makeup routine and work your way up to it.
I 2nd using color corrector. Specifically I use a red/ orange one then let it sit for a bit before putting on the concealer. Sometimes I’ll even use a tiny bit after the concealer
I'm assuming you meant to type 'what is the purpose'...so the purpose is to help re-shape certain facial features. In the context of feminization, it helps you create more feminine-looking bone structure.
I don’t know if this had been said, it’s a comment regarding language. These are great tips but I change the language to Assigned male at birth “AMAB” and assigned female at birth “AFAB” because it’s more inclusive. Trans women are women and trans men are men.

Girl I’m going through the same thing you are not alone I hope things are better now❤️🤞🏿
:(( sending hugs with consent 🫂
So sorry to hear that! 🫶 how’s it going? Have iou seen any difference? I too look manly in my face 🙈
I'm glad im not alone. I also get bullied for looking like a man 🫤
She already has a feminine face/rounded features. Can you demonstrate it on a sharp feature model with long nose/midface thin lips
I think that highlighting the inner corner of the eyes and defining the upper nose bridge with contouring can feminize quite a lot too
Bossanova Yes!! Btw if you are good at contouring your nose that’s amazing...it’s a tricky skill to learn but def effective!
Yep i do that all the time :)
omg the model is so beautiful! she is literally the cutest thing omfg
Wow thanks love the tip on the eyebrow so clever and easy ...........thanks so much !
Good video. I personally do tend to stay away from makeup because I like the natural look more. The eyebrow thing Ill definitely try tho!
That's awesome! Thanx for watching

Not exactly a makeup tip, but circle glasses I’ve found really help make the face look more circular and feminine

does makeup risk getting inside microcuts from shaving and irritating the skin/causing infections/etc...?
How can i fix having darker areas around eyes with makeup?
u can use "color correcting" before ur concealer! color correct helps a lot cancel the dark spots that might see thru ur makeup 💗
I 2nd using color corrector. Specifically I use a red/ orange one then let it sit for a bit before putting on the concealer. Sometimes I’ll even use a tiny bit after the concealer

I can't get more feminine. My headshape is like a parody of Glenn Danzig.
Puffff I still look like a guy with makeup on 😒
Lol
I know it sucks. I do not look feminine becase I sadly took after my dad. I hate it🤦
well im a guy i look feminine even with facial hair. it sucks fr
Maybe fix that five O clock shadow if you really wanna be helpful
she's already made a video about that
@@-aexc- but didn’t apply that to the person in the videp
