- Traxxas X-MAXX Mud Bogging Oblivion. I've owned this MAXX for a year now and with several runs a week I have learned a great deal about it. if you maintain it and look after it the RC will last a long time and if you do what I chose to do - well they last - but you have to buy parts now and again.

I run 6s lipo configuration in the truck along with the 22t/50t pinion. In the past I ran the X-MAXX stock, but felt it needed a better top speed. This allows the truck to run up to 50mph without any issues. I'm asked a lot if the setup overheats and I don't think it does. Check my videos for the gearing tutorial.
On with the show....
The adventure series videos started after a father of three children saw me running a Traxxas Slash 4x4 in my local park, and asked whether I made videos for TH-cam. It occurred to me that there must be a market out there for Radio control videos and from that point I created videos for the Jake Billing channel. The channel originally featured IT support and server management videos.

How long does one charge last on the x maxx? Cause it seems like you would have a backpack filled with extra batteries. My slash 4x4 has like 15 mins per charge and even less if I'm using it in water
Just get bigger battery? My slash goes for about 1 - 1.5 hour on 5000mah
Now to now need to take it all apart and remove all water and mud

Do you have the 8s power up systems me in that x max?
Love the vids but if your doing this you need to put a lift on the truck or the battery will get water inside and then the motor is ruined so I would raise it

flavoringalarmo 1 brushless is faster had better runtime and requires very little maintenance

Brushless doesn't necessarily have better run times, it's also not always faster, it really depends on what you're putting it in and what the application is.
Nobody can say one or the other is better.
