most of the MRT trains have this type of device. There are two variants. STARiS and DRMD. So how do they made? In this video, we will look at it's origins of the STARiS and DRMD. We will also look what the future holds for both of them.

The route map DRMD is used by the C830C trains plying the CCL and the C751C and C851E trains plying the NEL. On the other hand, the LCD DRMD, in the form of a screen, is used by the CT251 trains serving TEL, the refurbished C751A trains serving the NEL, the upgraded C951 trains plying the DTL, and the R151 trains that are currently plying on EWL for the time being.

I like them both and they are iconic in their own ways but DRMD just looks way better and more modern and it is more ideal for a system that has certain rolling stock that operate on several lines.

In my opinion, the DRMD of TEL and DTL look the best. Sleek and simple, unlike the STARiS 2.0 of NSL/EWL, which feels a bit like an eyesore.

yes as tel is recent. its been like 2019 or 2022 when i saw dtl without the lcd screen and with the cramped les light map. they upgraded i think every train. great 👍🏻
