➡️This is an incredibly strong One Bar Magicka Warden Solo build for Elder Scrolls Online and u42. It uses Oakensoul, one bar, and only 3 buttons. It's capable of EASILY clearing Veteran Maelstrom Arena, Veteran Vateshran, and even some TRIAL bosses! You can also take it to group content such as any dungeon on any difficulty! You can also easily convert it to a full 1 bar build that can put out dps over 102k!

Thanks for another good one! I listened to your advice on the 2 button templar build and it runs smoothly now :) getting more CP is quite important.
I wonder, for this build, what difference I would see with an orc? More healing at the expense of magicka and spell damage I imagine
You are very welcome and I am glad it helped! Orc isnt the worst choice for sure. You still get weapon/spell damage which is great, health which is universal to any build, and a bit of healing in stride of combat. Even the extra stam can be "useful" in solo content with all the secondary aspects of combat using stam (block, sprint, cc break, dodge roll, etc.). There are much worse options for a Mag build than Orc.

Finally the warden setup been waiting for you to put out since def my favorite class to play. Def going to give it a try never was a fan of ele weapon but I don't mind trying something. I mostly do vet dungeon hm to help everyone with achievements so will test this build hard haha. Really wish we could use overwhelming to get higher DPS always like the set but never hit quite as hard as I would've liked so def doing the rele/nirn set so will see. Thanks again
You are very welcome and that sounds awesome. You can use Ghastly Eye Bowls there and if synergies are fine, you can probably sustain Force Pulse as well for dungeons. Easier to weave and has a bit of splash damage. You should be cooking trash packs with that set up even with rele not doing much with fast trash deaths, then still have great single target boss damage with rele + chilled shenanigans.

Mate, this is excellent, Thanks very much for putting the time in to develop this. Just wondering though, where are you getting your penetration from? When I run Pillar and Relequen together I'm flat out getting anywhere near youtr18000.
Hi John! You are very welcome and thank you so much for watching! Those pen values are from the Trial Dummy. That's used used as a "standardized platform" in ESO to base builds off off. If you go to 3:34 timestamp, it shows the unbuffed char sheet and the pen there is only 1639. Don't get hung up on the pen though for a set up like this. The game has changed. It's not as necessary for most solo/4 man stuff as it used to be. If you just prefer more pen or feel you need it, you can always swap Sub Assault for Fissure and you should be more than fine. Just adjust the rotation around the longer duration.

I love everything im seeing today. Very simple set up for anyone who has or wants the gear.
I didn't know having unused abilities on the backbar could amplify my useable ones on the front bar with Oakensoul equipped. I thought everything on the back bar got cancelled out unless you were using a two bar setup.
I am glad you like the build cooking, thank you for checking it out! There are a number of multi-bar buffs now in the game across the classes. So that is a great thing to have on your radar! 🙏
@@Dooma i feel like this is a bug if you are benefiting from buffs/passives for skills slotted on the other bar when using oakensoul. They even removed a bunch of stuff that was giving buffs on offbar when using oakensoul because things on the other bar shouldn't take effect.
There are lots that are intended now. It was put out officially in patch notes. One that should be easily searchable online is bound armaments for sorcs.
@@Dooma I think bound armaments only boosts resistances but not magika % when back barred. Unless I'm wrong.

Thanks for the build and hard work put into this! I have a question, while farming overwhelming surge, what would be a good alternative set in the meantime?
Honestly, since Surge is so simple/quick to farm, it kind of feels like a "waste" of time to dedicate resources to something else, if the goal is the farm up surge. It's going to change sustain quite a bit at times not having it. Surge can be farmed solo on normal as well if getting a group together is an issue right now. If sustain isnt an issue (you can always use Ghastly Eye bowls temporarily to help), then I would just use whatever you have for now while farming surge, since it's going to be temporary.
Can't wait to get my warden to cp to try this!

I might be a bit biased as a Warden main, but I ran the 2/3 button arcanist, templar, necro and warden in Bastion Nymic solo, and it did feel like things were dying quicker with the warden version.
Still need to set up the dps version. I will give that a shot tonight.

Oh man, I have been waiting all day to come home and check this! It's going to be tough for me to give up my on my 0 abilities 60k dps heavy attack build, but it seems it's finally time for me to stop being lazy and farm Pillar of Nirn! This build looks amazing, will take some time to me get used to actually spamming abilities and not being uber lazy and just left clicking, but that's fine! Thank you for this, it looks like an incredible build, going to share this with all my Warden buddies!

@@Dooma Oh sweet, I'm going to check that guide! I'm really lazy with farming dungeons, I mainly solo or play with one or two people so this will definitely help! Seems every time I do rnd's I get people who are unpleasant to say the least lol. I do love the heavy attack build because I just click and drop my trap, bees, deep fissure then just rinse repeat the left clicks. Extra buttons add some more punch, but just with left click it's 20-25k dps, add the dots and fissure and it's well over 30k, then you have resolving vigor and arctic blast for heals with slimecraw, undaunted infiltrator and sergeant's mail, real solid build but I've been running it for months! Ready to toy with other stuff from what I see in the video, this build has it all! Thanks again man, your channel has helped my friends and I so much with builds!

Just curious on your thoughts on replacing surge with runecarvers armor set. I rarely have issue with running out of magika on my warden.
I didnt try that at all for this set up unfortunately. I couldnt even begin to predict how it would preform without spending a bit of time with it.
The sustain component may feel a little differently for you on this set up since we have mostly medium and a heavy on the body. If you dont have problems at all, then there are lots of options out there that will output more damage than surge.
Hi, can you make a “one or two” button builds for the new scribing skills?
Pick some skills like “torch” “soul burst” or “shield throw” and make them the main damage of a certain build.
Example: using torch (fire) as main spammable on a dragon knight to use the passives.
How about that?

Does overwhelming surge outperform ice furnace? They seem like they would both have 100% uptime and are very similar to each other.
Outside of IA and PvP furnace hasnt really been that hot in most patches for pve. The proc from the set itself is not great (vs lots of other procs) and its big benefit in IA was it being able to proc burning for you. Using the charged trait, it may work well with Nirn if it is sustainable, but I honestly dont think that's worth the trouble vs just pumping out damage with more sustain and letting surge do its thing.
@@Doomaty for the response. i thought with warden having so many sources of frost damage it would be more viable. Guess I'll just have to give surge a try.
You are totally right in your thinking there. It would be ridiculously good if it proc’d on all frost damage, but there’s a line on the set that says, “this can occur once per second” that waters it down in this case.

If something falls way behind, we remove it normally, or replace it with the newest update. If it was never on the website, then it's kind of hard to say, it would be a case by case thing. What cp should I shoot for anyway? I just got into 500cp not long ago, I started using a heavy atk setup with sergeant's and undaunted. Farming Duelist atm though just to see if the light armor passives will make it better.
Great question!
Maximum offensive power is achieved at ~1250 CP
Maximum offensive + defensive power is achieved at 1550 CP.
Anything beyond that provides zero combat benefit as you will have all of the passives and 4 slottables per tree.

Around 1:49, you said "using the same gear, just a couple different weights and traits" would get the parse from 70k to 93k. That's a massive increase! Could you please specify what the different weights and traits are? Thanks!
Also, thank you for doing this for U42, so it'll still be valid in a couple weeks (and beyond!) Drives me crazy when people make new builds a few weeks before a new patch and don't think about that.

I think there may have been either an update on the sites hosting or anti virus update that over-protected a bit. It only applied to a very small % of people so I am leaning towards something anti-virus related.
So is this good to use in endless archive? And how do you keep your sustain if we spam tomuch. Lol
It's not as good as the IA builds on the channel made specifically for IA, but this has the potential to be a bit better than your average non-ia solo build, going into IA, due to Warden's chilled and Hemorrhage output. So if you added some defenses like as much resists as you can pack in, Major Protection, Maybe Vigor, you could potentially have a decent time. You wont be hitting Arc 10, but it should last well into 4-5 or so. I havent personally gotten to test it, so this may be way off, but I do believe it should be a decent time, all things considered with the modified build. As far as sustain, the Surge set should cover that for you along with potion use.

I am currently play testing some sorcerer updates on twitch and then the Warden is next. (Specifically the IA builds which are typically frost based). Once I have some content built up I am going to swing back over to twitch and put out some new/updated builds for everyone, but if you are interested in having them earlier, I am sharing the play testing on twitch for everyone during the weekdays.
I like the build, now i just need the gear, but thats pretty slow going.
Until then i will just have to continue with my HA warden
Btw is there a specific reason for solo that you would want sub assault over deep fisure? I know sub does more outright damage, but fissure gives minor and major breech.
Hi there! Sub Assault flowed better for the build and the pen is negligible in solo content in (most) cases. You can use Fissure if you prefer it or feel you need the pen. Just adjust the rotation around its longer duration and you are good to go.

Hey @Dooma, I just put this together. All Gold, divines, Magicka enchants on body and Spell damage enchants on Jewlery, Atronach mundus and strategic reserve and rejuvenation stars. I’m sitting at 2100 Health recovery and 1652 Magicka Recovery and 4450 Spell Damage but at 3:58 you’re at 3434 HR and 2391 MR and 4967 Spell Damage.
Any thoughts as to how I could be that far off? I don’t have clockwork food so that’s a little bit of it. But I don’t see anything in skills, passives or Champion points that has Health Recovery that I’m missing.
Edit. One issue is I didn’t use a tristat potion. So that’s 30% or about 630 and clockwork is 400 so that’s 1030. that will leave the Health recovery about 300 short.

Holy cow dude how do you have so much magicka regeneration?!
Hi there! All the elements of the build are explained in the video. If you follow it exactly, it should be mostly the same. If you are struggling with recovery in live content, from helping players in the past with similar builds, that has been due to not standing in melee range allowing the Surge set to hit enemies for it’s magicka return. Normally when players begin doing that a little more, things got much better in that area. I hope this helps and thank you for watching!

Hi there! This has been a very popular 1 bar build since I put it out. You can check out the comments a bit for some player context if you like. There has been lots of players giving feedback saying they have great success in pve (dungeons) with it as well. It still is fantastic for PVP but it is kind of way HPS and health overkill for PVE. It's great to learn though. Once you get more comfortable, it will be a good idea to dial back some of the defense/hps for more group utility. Thank you for the feedback! The highs are normalized throughout the video, there shouldnt be anything blowing out speakers anywhere in the intro for you. There are "more highs" than other areas, but it isnt louder outside of 2 total notes at the end of the intro. Not according to any equalizer I have anyway haha. Even the gameplay at the end has a higher average volume than most of the video, intro included. Is it possible the high volume start was just jarring for you? Thats also good feedback for me as well.

It doesn’t make sense your display only has 4 pieces of overwhelming and mostly pillar, monster set and oaken soak you have too many pillars which one have you mistaken
Hi Pride! In ESO, your weapon counts as 2 towards set bonuses.
