Did these and took me under an hour. My son brought me the Pulley and after 2 years found your exercises. No more waiting for the cable machine at the gym...my muscles feel pumped 🎉
Hey Tom I would love a full body cable follow along routine. I often incorporate cable work because cables are easier on my joints than dumbbells and barbells and I get better ROM.
Nice video, I just got a pulley system. Could you maybe make a video similar to this but a full body workout or just like 2 exercises for each muscle group using the pulley. Thanks
Hi Tom! This content is golden❤ Can you make a follow along cable only workouts? Would you recommend doing these 10 exercises back to back in one session?
The pulley is hooked up on this rack th-cam.com/video/H3MDLNGL8g4/w-d-xo.html and on a pin loaded peg that comes with the pulley system here th-cam.com/video/rA7OX5UPxFg/w-d-xo.html hope that helps
Lol hey now u got hubbie & I ah thinking 😅 hey we said / where did he get that extention cable from lol. Our GOLDS GYM doesn't have that. What ah Kool invention dude. How smart & clever ur. ❤❤❤good job😊😊😊
This is predominantly a home gym follow along Channel and most people done have an integrated cable stack so showing you what you can do with a cheap home pulley system. I started with this before getting a integrated one for my studio
@@TomPetoTraining thanks for the replay. I asked because I am thinking of getting the same rack and found your reviews to be really helpful. Thank again!
On the cable pulley does the angle in which you perform it still target the muscle? I try to angle it the way the gym machine does it but the pulley brings the weight very close..
@@justintemp this is a follow up video from a past product review I did on these home pulley systems. Since then I’ve bought more commercial cables for my studio but still this these budget options are great for anyone not wanting to splash out on money or space required for a full cable stack.
@@TomPetoTraining thanks Tom, certainly worth looking at. Might be cheaper to buy a wall mounted rack and separate pulley system. Space is a premium so trying to work it out. I didn't think of putting a rack in the corner. Might work better than against the wall
@@justintemp here is a review of the folding rack with integrated cable th-cam.com/video/H3MDLNGL8g4/w-d-xo.html. Or as you said you could buy a cheaper rack and separate pulley system (pulley review th-cam.com/video/rA7OX5UPxFg/w-d-xo.html )
Thats not a lat pull down. The line of force is aligned with ur upper back fibres. Lat pulldowns gonna be directly or slightly behind the line of force or pulley.

Very easy to follow yet the results are tremendous
Thanks

How about a follow along Cable pulley workout?
Great video Tom.👍
Thanks

Good idea, not sure if there are enough people to make it a popular video but worth a try 👍
@@TomPetoTraining It would be great.
Great video!
I was wondering what you’re using to hold your weights in place. It looks like it minimizes the swinging created by the pulley system

4:59 put a 2nd pulley on the hook behind the first pulley so the weight is offset further back and not crushing your snutz

Just discovered this channel! Why are you using the add-on pulley system instead of the rack built-in pulley system? Thanks.

@@MrSka7cis phase 2 muscle squad folding rack is great.
it looks like the crossover flies would work more of the lower inner chest, is there a way you can make it work the upper inner chest more?
Probs just to an incline dumbbell fly instead. Tricky to do upper chest on these type of pulley systems
On the cable pulley does the angle in which you perform it still target the muscle? I try to angle it the way the gym machine does it but the pulley brings the weight very close..
Yes a bit, more vertical on a pull is more lats, more horizontal in more mid/lower traps
Could this power rack be upgraded to crossover? If yes any link/source?
V-bar exercises.
Can you also train your lower back with a this?
Not really, much better to just do some deadlift variation, lower back extension or reverse hyper.
Pully hang how many hight?
Probably around 7-8 foot
How much weight of plates ?
What ever you load onto it

Is that a DIY pulley system ?
No it’s just a set I bought on Amazon. I’ve linked the one I bought in the video description. They aren’t very expensive.
@@TomPetoTraining thanks. Just wondered why you didn't use the cable provided with the rack,. Thanks Tom

why put a cable pulley in a rack that has a cable pulley system??
Just a demo video for people without an integrated one.
Thats not a lat pull down. The line of force is aligned with ur upper back fibres. Lat pulldowns gonna be directly or slightly behind the line of force or pulley.
Pulling down action using a large contribution from lats. I think calling it a lat pulldown is reasonable.
@@TomPetoTraining yea can make it way better when ur under the pulley
@@khe8969 I’d need a shorter pulley cable or taller rack. The angle is more due to needing the weight off the floor
