Great review! Very thorough and detailed. Just purchased a Q Sugar Weasel, 16" in 5.56 NATO/.223. Since it comes with a Cherry Bomb muzzle break, trying to decide between these two, Thunder Chicken or Trash Panda.
I’m thinking about getting one of these for my ddm4 pdw. Kinda want the panda but might get the chicken idk. Depends on if the panda becomes available this year. You know if it would be able to attach without having to modify the pdw at all? Just wondering if the Handguard would get in the way. I’m almost positive it wouldn’t but just thought I’d ask
Yes they are. He says 223 because it’s rated for as low as 223. That’s why they give you the 223 and 300blk cherry bomb muzzle break for quick threading. If you get something like a Sugar weasel or a honey badger it’s pretty much plug and play at that point because they ship out of factory with a cherry bomb muzzle in whatever caliber you ordered. Hope that helps and wasn’t too late
@dylanthiel5784 Wait, my FFL told me that when you buy a suppressor it has to be gun specific. In other words, I can't switch it out between guns as I am supposed to register which gun I purchased it for.
I had to order a special 1/2" 3/8" drive socket to install muzzle adapter. of the 5 1/2" sockets I have, none fir inside of the lip at the end. the wall thickness of the socket has to be really thin. I don't understand why for the price, a $5.57 socket can't be included. maybe even a proprietary socket since they use a weird end. not a 8 point or multi point socket end. they use a strange star type. but in any case for over 1000.00 the approved install tool could come with it. they have the supposed correct thin wal socket at MSC. for 5.57 . also don't expect a lot of Db loss. it's still loud. If you get a Q get the longest one with the most baffles. 5 baffles are not enough. 10 are much better and much more quiet. The are so many manufacturers out there..some have flow through tech. etc. there are much better units for that kind of money
Many socket sets have the thin wall. I have many socket sets, some fit some don’t. It’s not like the thin walled sockets are not out there where they’d need to include it.
I was actually very disappointed in the decibel drop with the Thunder Chicken suppressor; I live in a very rural area, so my closet neighbor is about 4 acres away, yet I can clearly hear my shots echoing off of his house when I'm shooting
I have the Q Thunder Chicken. I absolutely love it, all you hear is the click and the bolt slide back and forth. Great products
I've had my trash panda for about 2 years. Love it and love the taper lock system.

I just ordered the Trash Panda and El Comino... let the waiting begin..
I’m still waiting for my griffin 30sd after 7 months and my dumbass is about to pick the trash or thunder.
Have you got your suppressor yet?
@@BurkeSchneider funny you ask.. I just got approval yesterday!! 06/27/23

Same question. Does it fit?
@@omgnothingisavl Yes it fits without any modification. Just have to put on the 5/8x24 cherry bomb
I’ll take them both
Are both Trash Panda, and Thunderchick compatible with 300blk, and 5.56?

How can you possibly know what my FFL told me? You're not REALLY that ignorant, are you?
So after watching this it appears that these Q suppressors can NOT be opened and cleaned. Is this correct?
They don't need to be. Anyone who says a suppressor needs to be cleaned is selling you a POS lol
Most of these are not user serviceable, right?
Nope, rifle calibers are said to have no need for cleaning
this is a late reply, i got my Trash Panda a few days ago and the manual said to drop it in an ultrasonic cleaner.

What would you put on a 9inch 300 back?
I just put a thunderchicken on my 9inch 1:17 blackout.

I feel like all suppressors should come with 2 muzzle devices..or atleast 1 lol
