After the SC gave us the Bruen decision in 2022. I predicted that the Hughes Amendment will be nullified in 5-10 years. The Cargill decision earlier this year, hinders a future court from claiming that machine guns are "dangerous and unusual" based on rate of fire. The court highlighted the fact that machine guns are not defined by how fast they shoot. Time will tell if I am right!

Wish you would compare subsonic ammo unsuppressed vs suppressed. Using 1200 FPS unsuppressed vs subsonic ammo is a little unfair of a test.

You think these would run on a 10.5 inch ar-15? I hear the regular 5.56 version is supper gassy on short barrels even with tuning.

I was actually very disappointed in the decibel drop with the Thunder Chicken suppressor; I live in a very rural area, so my closet neighbor is about 4 acres away, yet I can clearly hear my shots echoing off of his house when I'm shooting

Good summary and acquirement on your part. As for AOWs, I learned the hard way. I recently made two AOWs out of AP5-M pistols and it cost each of them a $200 tax stamp to E-form 1 them into a AOW, then it’s only a $5 tax stamp to transfer one to another individual after that. The $5 tax stamp bargain is when you buy an AOW that is already made.

In short mode that sounds worthless. My ghost M in short mode is nearly as good as its long mode. Super duper quiet

147 grain is still kinda loud. 158 is where all the fun is at

Its got to be one of the quietest cans I've owned 147 grain ammo works very well its definatly very easy to clean thanks to it's desighn and the lifetime warranty is no doubt why the serial number is in one of the strongest spots outside the can and it's modular desighn makes one suppressor cover a wide variety of calibers and it can be converted very easily witch is a credit to the two men who broke away from silencer shop and did alot of testing and tweeks in desighn to make what is still considered one of the top ten center fired cans on the market i can say my rugged obsidian 45acp covers all of my hand guns in one package for relatively short money.

Great review! Very thorough and detailed. Just purchased a Q Sugar Weasel, 16" in 5.56 NATO/.223. Since it comes with a Cherry Bomb muzzle break, trying to decide between these two, Thunder Chicken or Trash Panda.

I've never heard of this sending your trust info into the ATF every two years. I've owned NFA items for years. You don't need to send them anything unless you plan on moving out of state or want to remove people from the trust. Basically, if any information were to change on the trust.
