One day it burst at work and went everywhere near the leg of his pants. Nobody understood what happened and he said he had a pimple that kept growing that he never treated at all. I am a farmer & work all day in the sun. I wear sunscreen SPF 50 & reapply every few hours. I wear shorts & a tank because it gets so hot. I wear either a ball cap or sun hat with fuller coverage to protect my face.
Make sure you're applying the sunscreen to your legs and ears too 🙏🙏
Make sure you are applying the sunscreen to the back of your ears or wear a hat that shades your ears - I just had a skin cancer removed from the back of my ear!
@@shelby6 I sure do!
@@dsmith9796 Yup I am! I’m sorry to hear that. I wish I could handle wearing long sleeves & pants in the heat but I find it extremely difficult. I would like to avoid getting more sunspots but maybe sunscreen helps prevent them; I’m not sure.
If you live in a dry hot area you should look into the clothes people wear in the desert, which is usually flowy and light to let air circulate but cover the skin
I recently found out about "buttne" (acne on your butt) when I asked about the benzoyl peroxide wash sitting in my friend's shower. I don't get acne/pimples on my butt however I do have what feels like permanent small pimples on my chest. Is there a reason why you recommend Chlorhexidine Gluconate
solution 4.0% w/v (hibiclens) over a benzoyl peroxide wash? Is one better than the other? Or does one carry more benefits than risks?
You should have it looked at to be sure but might be keratosis pilaris not pimples.
👀Oooo I'm buying this for my man! He gets them everywhere and I've been searching for a remedy. Just in time!!! Thank you!!!!
Do you use regular deodorant? And is it safe?
Wish there’s also a remedy for acne on shaved head. My husband struggles with that for years now and we don’t know how to fix this without committing into too much skincare like retinol. He refused to use retinol and so I have to find something easy to use for him to cure this condition 😢
Girl I just love you so much ❤
Can u talk about lichen sclerosus
I use this at least once a week due to being prone to heat rashes. I rarely get them any more
Shouldnt be used on any mucus membrane at least that's how it was explained to me by a Dr
After shaving for laser hair removal and then the tech canceling my appointment last minute i found myself lying on my stomach the next evening, washing the cheeks with Cerave SA cleanser, then putting on PC BHA Gel and a panthenol cream on top... there is an inflamed mess down there, but this treatment has helped tremendously over night. I'd never voluntary shave there if not for laser treatment (after which I don't get butt acne because the hairs and follicles got fried). But i was in a bit of a pickle now that they canceled 30min before the appointment 😑
So thanks for this recommendation!
Sorry, but…hair on your butt? I didn’t know people had that?
@@marblehead2500 unfortunately yes. You would be surprised about the places where people have hair.
Also, your comment makes me think you're 12 (no offence).
@@Chuulip much older than that, but from a non-hairy family, and haven’t had hairy partners. I know I sound naive, but I really didn’t know that people had hair on their butts!
@@marblehead2500 the majority of people (if not everyone?) have hair on their butt.
It’s usually very fine hair (like the hair that covers your whole face - it’s hair, but it’s not like the hair on your head).
Some people do have thicker hair on their butt, kind of like arm hair or leg hair.
But almost everyone has SOME form of hair on their butt (even if it’s really, really fine).
@@s_rofbear like…peach fuzz?
I love this stuff for wound care but had no idea it could work for pimples. Never would of thought of that! More of these unknown tips and tricks please? What else do you know of that us lay people don’t know works for other things?
Do other antiseptic washing solutions with different ingredients also work (as long as they're antiseptic)? I live in europe and can't find hibiclens online, unfortunately :(
Same here!
Not sure where you are in Europe, but in the UK we have Hibiscrub - exact same concentration of Chlorhexidine Gluconate at 4% w/v 😊
I'm French and the equivalent would be something like cyteal from pierre Fabre
For someone who is prone this kind of acne would you suggest and how often would you suggest a wash?
Can it be used to prevent yeast infections?
please provide alternatives for south asians!!! PLEASE we really need it. I'm practically snorting clotrimazol powder!
Google the active ingredient and you should find alternatives
Please let us know if you find any alternative of it
If does not work like that. I've tried finding Panoxyl alternative but the active ingridient is prescription only at this strength in my region.
What is the product name? I live in canada ,is there any alternative for this?
👀
Do you recommend shaving or waxing? I’m thinking about switching to wax, but I have very sensitive skin
You said butt pimples ❤ I’m so relieved I’m not alone. I’m hygienic & it’s much better than it use to be, but it does happen because I’m also very active, I sweat and I have that thick Italian hair in my pits, toots & poots 😂😂😂. I feel seen!
Is hibiclens more effective than 4% benzoyl peroxide wash (cetaphil etc?)
I use a salicylic acid body spray for my bum and for my groin area after I shave. Works like a charm
Does this work for back and shoulder acne? If not can you say good products for that?
Thoughts on carbolic soap? We've kept it on hand for years since our doctor and veteranarian friends turned us onto the many reasons and uses. Some pimples are ingrown hairs by the by. 😊
Should this be used instead of a benzoyl peroxide wash or can it be used with but on different nights? Also how long do you leave it sitting? I need more infoooooo
Yes, I have all the same questions. Lol
Its a type of infection preventive. Shereen is NOT recommending it as a daily wash!! It can be very drying. Rinse off.
I love showering with hibiclens helps with my hyperhydrosis
Can this be used if someone has Hydradenitis Suppurativa?
My doctor actually specifically recommended hibiscrub (which is the same thing) for my HS!
@@claris3056 thank you so much for the help! ☺️
Darn this isn’t in my country 🤣
gonna google an alternative! Tyvm for sharing.
Just search chlorhexidine gluconate 4%
Girl help me ive been using tretinoin for a year now ! It cleared up my hormonal acne and the big pimple but it never got rid of white heads and closed comedones!! And i cant use an oil cleanser cs i dont have much choices to choose the best one for my skin
Is Hibiclens safe to use on fresh tattoos?? Since Dial soap isn’t truly antibacterial?
Does that help with back acne?
Love your eyeliner, any tutorials on how to?
Thank you 😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
How about for back acne? Anything you recommend to prevent acne and minimize dark spots (from previous acne)?
Will an antiseptic spray like what we use for wounds work the same way?
Would this work on back acne as well?
Ahhh snap I keep forgetting, we have tons of this in the clinic and it all expired recently but is still good. My boss has no idea what to do with it so I guess it’s going to the trash! AKA me 😂
Could this be used for acne on the back ?
Sulphur bar soap helps me prevent backne too :)
Could you please make a video on polymorphous light eruption. And how can we protect and prevent it.
Can I use hibiclens under breasts and armpits??
Can boys use it too?
Definitely!
If I use Detol gel would be same?
What about sulfur soap? Seems good for the tush....
How long does this take to get rid of them?
Hi dr, can you recommend an at home laser machine to get rid of all those hairsss? ❤thank you
What to use in the UK?
Benzoyl peroxide, or hypochlorous acid will do the same thing.
Hibiscrub from Boots should be pretty much the same. The active is 4% chlorhexidine gluconate solution.
Can I use this on my back and shoulders?
