The variable speed left lane hugger - it happens a lot in the UK with people blocking the lanes, they also are the ones speeding up down hill and slowing up because they're just half asleep keeping their accelerator in the same position.

Having worked with suppliers for e.g. Mercedes, they get requirements and sometimes get shit for not just implementing them the way they are asked to. Furthermore, due to the supplier position and there being so many ECU's, you run into issues where an IF statement is just executed without any sperate information input.

My MY24 RWD was held up in Melbourne last week when they realised the towbar needed a new module from Sweden for it work with the MY24. All fixed now and due for delivery when they figure out how to get it to me on the island - SeaLink ferry quoted them $4000 for the truck!

I love watching your tests, maybe you could just reduce distance and buy a smaller trailer then add weight instead. An idea I would love to see is all cars tested with various tyres to see the difference in efficiency, noise and handling, would require a test track though to keep things same. Keep up your entertaining videos.
I'm surprised the native nav system didn't seem the "notice" the car was drawing roughly double the usual power when estimating SOC on arrival for the entire 1000 km trip. I wonder if the A Better Route Planner app running on the car would have done a better job of adjusting to the actual consumption?!?
My Volvo XC90 has the same trailer light check [very helpful] - all the lights go on and off in a sequence - sounds like the cable was fully kaput! And yes I thought PlayStation also!!
I think the reason the light on the trailer doesn't work. Is the switch arm on the left side set for "running lights and position lights" He must manually turn the light switch to "Low beam and position light" in order for the light to turn on on the trailer. You can see the green light icon for "running lights and position lights" at 8:26
Thx for the vid and hard work you put for these! Personally trailer tests are not very interesting compared to your usual tests. Maybe some basic trailer test with small trailer and low effort could be worth the effort. For example check can you use auto steer, how easy it is to plug in, how is the car estimating range, any additional towing features etc. 100 km loop could be enough
The humming in the motor around 90km/h is an irritating thing. I have the same in a MY21 LRDM. Have had it checked and it seems to be a "feature", not a bug. :/

Can you tell me which electric car shows how much battery percentage you arrive with? Can all electric cars show it if you use google maps? I am having difficulty finding a page that can provide that information.
The low charge warning looks the same format as the low fuel warning in the newer volvo’s. Its very annoying and keeps popping up even after you cancel it

Definitely think you should mention that a camper will be more efficient that this every video, they are made to be much more aerodynamic.

It usually lights up the trailer during the test
On my PS2, when performing the light check, it does turn on all lights with different patterns (all on, only breaklights, turn signals, etc.)
Maybe it didn't do it in my case because of kaputt cable.

It`s not an internal check. Light are supposed to be visualy inspected. Same function on XC40 :) Very useful.

Bjørn, the safety wire needs to go to the chassis of the car, there’s a metal loop for it. Putting it on the træk can be expensive if police care
