  • Will AI destroy humanity? Is the Singularity near? How do Baha'i teachings on Immortality and life after death relate to transhumanism? Part of a series of units at Wilmette Institute on Baha'i Theology, the issues raised and discussed aim at personal growth, evolution and transformation with practical examples of mysticism and immortality in everyday life.

Years ago I commissioned an electronics expert to create, populate three 3 layer printed circuit boards, a total of ~500 microwave small pin dual diodes, such that each of the three pins extending from the packages went to the appropriate layer so all the diodes became connected in massive parallel, and encase everything in an aluminum box.
He then tested the box for DC power production and found zero power production.
I recently realized that I should have chosen zero bias diodes. This means that many people can test the hypothesis that the correct diodes in parallel or parallel series can produce measurable power.

Baha ul Lah was a nice man. But he need not be called a prophet--- he can be considered a good person preaching Sprituality, the type of spirtuality which does not contradict any present spirituality of any religion. That way any Muslim , any Christian, or any other believer of any other religion should have no problem in considering BAHA-ULLAH just a spirituality preacher---- but not to be considered as prophet.

The same argument can be said about all the messengers of God , however it’s up to your individual preferences to think of them nice or not! If you or other religions have a problem with that , then again what that has to do with it? All those religions you mentioned have immense conflicts amongst themselves and with each other , and while they are making wars and name callings let other peaceful ideologies flourish and illuminate the hearts filled with animosity, prejudices, hate, and self righteousness with respect, dignity and unity of mankind!

The Bab was impressive but Baha'u'llah was pretty insufferable compared to Joseph Smith for instance, who had far more to say.

Reincarnation of aspects of Jesus Christ. Still Bahai deny reincarnation.

Please note that there is no such thing as an authentic Baha'i talk - the Baha'i Faith doesn't have clergy, only the writings of Twin Founders, Abdu'l-Baha and the Guardian are authoritative or interpretative and the House of Justice "[...] makes deductions on the basis of the revealed Texts and their authorized interpretations." I didn't hear anything that would lead me to believe this lecture is not aligned with the general teachings of the Baha'i Faith. I found it full of thought-provoking ideas and questions. Pretty cool.

Hudhayfah reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, foretold, “In my nation, there will be twenty-seven great liars and impostors, among whom are four women. Verily, I am the seal of the prophets, and there is no prophet after me.” (Musnad Aḥmad 23358). Bahaullah is one of them

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. You follow a false prophet as well...

Furthermore, in the Kitáb-i-Iqán, Bahá'u'lláh confirms the traditional meaning of the word, "seal", as "last", used in Qur'an 33:40, in the following passage: "For even as He [Muhammad] regarded Himself to be the “First of the Prophets” - that is Adam-in like manner, the “Seal of the Prophets” is also applicable unto that Divine Beauty. It is admittedly obvious that being the “First of the Prophets,” He likewise is their “Seal.”" (p. 162). [3]
Interestingly, these Muslims are using the same argument to reject the return of Christ (ie. Bahá'u'lláh) that Jews used to reject Christ Himself. The following two quotes are taken from Jewish sources that repudiate the prophethood of Jesus because prophecy had allegedly ended hundreds of years before His birth.
"Jesus was not a prophet. Prophecy could only exist in Israel when the land is inhabited by a majority of world Jewry. During the time of Ezra (~300 BCE) the majority of Jews refused to move from Babylon to Israel, thus prophecy ended upon the death of the last prophets (Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi). Jesus appeared on the scene approximately 350 years after prophecy had ended." (Shamash, 2017) [4]
"The Messiah will become the greatest prophet in history, second only to Moses. (Targum - Isaiah 11:2; Maimonides - Teshuva 9:2) Prophecy can only exist in Israel when the land is inhabited by a majority of world Jewry, a situation which has not existed since 300 BCE. During the time of Ezra, when the majority of Jews remained in Babylon, prophecy ended upon the death of the last prophets - Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi. Jesus appeared on the scene approximately 350 years after prophecy had ended, and thus could not be a prophet." (Aish, 2004)
You guys are both RIGHT! But both fail to really understand Scripture and Quran. Wake up brothers! Baha’u’llah is the Promised One of All Ages!
Christ Himself said “I will come in “Glory of My Father.” - Revelations
Baha’u’llah means “The Glory of God”
Literally. PLEASE READ THE BOOK OF CERTITUDE

Prophet Muhammad PBUH was the Seal of the Prophetic Era of humanity. The appearance of Baha'u'llah's opens a new era of humanity, the Age of Fulfillment.
