I was surprised he did not mention creator of Esperanto, Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof's daughter, Lidia, who was a Baha'i and died in a concentration camp! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lidia_Zamenhof
I find it difficult to compare and contrast a political ideology with a religion; they are as different a can be. Further, we cannot change the hatred by looking down our noses at it. We must love them. Above all else - and as my Catholic friends will say - the sin is not the sinner...

Mr. David Langness, a world of thanks for this clear, cogent presentation of the facts about the Baha'i community and the Nazis. It alleviated my wondering with facts and confirmed my belief that as you say, "It is up to us, the promoters of the oneness of humanity, to make sure that we don't forget." God bless.

David, thank you SO MUCH for sharing this very important message in these very trying times throughout the world and especially in the United States, as people all around the world sadly watch what is happening in the U.S. government administration. I am going to share your enlightening message with others.
Baha'i faith teaches that death is beautiful, giving you life for God is the greats of all things. Death only hearts the people that are left behind. There is a book that I wants had ( Death the door way to Heaven ) it helps explain the beauty of death or being sent to the next world. We are only hear in this world for a short time, and it is to prepare us for the next live, which is much more beautiful than we can ever under stand on this plane. I am sure that all those lives are in a much better place, and we should pray for them as I am sure that they are praying for us. There are many hardships that we will go through to get Heaven on earth. May it soon come.

As a Jewish person who is exploring the Baha’i faith, this was surprising for me to come across and I found it beautiful.

here is something for IRONY.... America's political savior could be a Jewish Senator from Vermont who was raised in the BRONX
Please make no mistake, we are facing the nazis again today under the American regime.
